Technicians appeared well informed. Came early and diagnosed used the problem, discussed solution and seems to have solved the problem. I will be changing from my usual irrigation company to RR next spring.

I had an appointment for Friday, 06/08 between noon until 2:00, and the night before the appointment, I got a call from a hospice regarding an important matter. So I tried asking politely for a possible re-schedule. I was disappointed in their scheduling after 4 years of being their customer. The good thing is the owner listened to my concern and I explained thoroughly and advised him that I am going to get my services from a different company moving forward.

We couldn't be happier with results. We would highly recommend R&R Irrigation to anyone looking to install landscape lighting, a sprinkler system or new landscaping.

I received 3 quotes from ANGIE'S LIST companies and RR IRRIGATION was not the cheapest of the 3, but provided me with (in my opinion) the best layout and more sprinkler heads than the other quotes I received. They prefer RAIN BIRD products while the other serious quote I received preferred HUNTER; both are the top companies in the industry. The RAIN BIRD Wi-Fi control system sometimes has some lag, but I'm glad I went with this instead of no Wi-Fi; it needs to be on a 2.4 Ghz frequency and not 5 Ghz to work best. Original install date got pushed back a few times due to weather, but nothing you could do about Mother Nature. Day of install went smooth, a little longer than originally anticipated because more hand digging was needed than initially thought due to their main machine not fitting through my backyard fence's gate. Freddy and his crew were great and cleaned up very nicely. Town inspection came through and passed with no issues... the system has worked great so far and now I have a lot more time to play with my daughters when I get home from work instead of moving hoses and sprinklers around my front, side, and back yard!

As usual, this company was terrific; from the first phone call asking for help to the final perfect cleanup. R&R installed the system several years ago, and they come twice a year to open the system in the spring and drain it in the fall. We've always had very professional service from them, and we highly recommend!

The installation went very smoothly, and we've been very pleased with their maintenance services since then. They routinely send out reminders for spring opening and winter closing, and they have repositioned the sprinkler heads to accommodate a new fenced in area.

When we moved into our new house 16 years ago, I considered investing in a lawn irrigation system. But the priorities of all the things one needs to do look different when you are new to a house. So for all these years I have struggled with buying all kinds of hoses and sprinklers that leak, Orbitz hose timers that leak, and soaker hoses that are great the fort three feet then just peter out to a drip. I finally decided to get help after a broiling summer, seeing years of hard work on my lawn go to dessert. Several reputable experts recommended R&R Irrigation. I spoke to a few others, but R&R really seemed like this is what they do…and do well. I was not disappointed. R&R master irrigator, Dan James, came out and walked my property. He mapped out what looked to be a great systematic approach. The price seemed fair and they were able to get me in with enough time left for me to do fall power seeding, worthless if you can’t keep the seed bed moist. I made the right choice. Within ten days I had my permit and a crew of six hard working guys tearing up by front and back yard. They were not able to use the ditch witch in my pool area so there was a lot of digging by hand. Carlos and Marco kept me informed along the way. I was amazed at what it takes to do a job like this. I had no idea. It took six people two days to complete everything, including hand digging to install a drainage pipe off one of my roof gutters that was dumping rainwater into my basement. After it was all installed, my lawn was smooth and even. You could hardly tell that it had been “gophered up” to install all this apparatus. Dan and Marcos helped me set up the control panel and made it easy for me to understand how to make adjustments. Now instead of getting up every morning next summer to move sprinklers around, I can sleep in. This should have been priority one 16 years ago. I’m just glad I decided to do it now and especially pleased that I chose R&R Irrigation to handle the work. By the way, my landscaper told me that a neighbor up the street had just installed a sprinkler system but the code enforcement officer made the company pull it all up because the lines were not planted deep enough. Then my neighbor had to argue with the irrigation company. This is hard, complicated work. If you are going to do it, do your homework on the company you select. I am happy I did.

I was very pleased with the whole experience. Paul was quick to diagnose what needed to be done and explained all details to me. I'm a Master Gardener and very particular about my yard. They answered my questions during the installation and were responsive to my fine-tuning of drip line location. They even put in a conduit for power to a fountain at no extra charge.

They did a great job tuning up my system and replacing sprinklers.

The service was fine. They came out when they said they would and they repair anything that is needed such as the hoses or heads to the system. They were very efficient and professional. The work is always done perfectly.

I needed an option to catch free flowing water in my sloped backyard after a bad rain storm in order not to over use my sump pump. I had a few ideas, but wanted to review them and see if someone else would come up with something better. After discussing my issues with Steve on the phone and via email , Steve came to my house. He was on-time, very personable and knowledgable . We spend the first 20min going different options and his idea seemed to make the most sense for what I wanted. His staff arrived on time and completed the work as planned. We had a few minor updates after the fact and after contacting Steve, his staff came back and updated all of the open items we discussed. None of the open items were the fault of Steve or his staff, just a few items occurred after a major storm we had in the NJ area.

RR Irrigation overall did a good job of installing the sprinkler system at our home. Their price estimate was reasonable and the people who came to do the job seemed professional. So-far, I have been impressed with the quality of work and will probably use them in future. The only points deducted are because of punctuality as I had to follow up multiple times to get the installation done on time. They were happy postponing it for other jobs they had. Also, they were not very prompt in getting permits for me. They did apply for the permits but did not bother to go to the office to get them as they were available. Minor nuisance. Overall a good job done.

Overall they did a very good job. Numerous sprinkler had had to be moved or changed out so that the new fence didn't block the water. We thought the work would be completed in a few hours but the job took longer than expected and the guys had to come back for a second day. Despite that, we are happy with the results and our lawn looks greener after the work was performed.

R & R completed the shutdown of our irrigation system this morning. They arrived as scheduled and completed the work in a timely and efficient manner. The gentlemen who were at our home were helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this company!
