It went great , the two women that came did such a wonderful job and cleaned every part of the house which consisted of main floor, finished basement and attic , they even cleaned the parts of the attic and basement which are not finished off ! It smelled good and looked great !! The women were on time and worked to the very end of the 3 hours we paid for, such nice professional ladies they were , how lucky we were to have them !! My mom s house is now ready to be shown thanks to their hard work. Would use them again for sure.

They sent Tania by herself to do the cleaning. She was great and worked hard to get it done. They arrived late, and I was surprised to have just one person. My house is not huge but big enough that Tania had to stay until after 6:00 pm to finish. This was the second time they have come to clean, and I will hire them again, AND ask for Tania.

I purchased 6 hours of cleaning from Hortensia and was able to make an appointment at a time that was convenient for me. Hugo and Talia showed up on time and started immediately. I prioritized certain rooms for them. They made my bathroom spotless, which was no easy task. They were professional and courteous and I will likely hire them again.

Very well. They did a great job. They bring their own products, including vacuum and garbage bags for when they empty your garbage. I had Tania, Surgey and Marcela perform the cleaning services. They were very nice and respectful. They even played with my dog.

Although they arrived late - which was more of a scheduling issue since the cleaning team was booked back to back and had to travel from southern Jersey. But to their credit we we only made the appointment a few days in advance and it was a holiday weekend. Also, once they got here they got to work quickly and listened to what I wanted done. They were easy to work with and got more rooms cleaned than I thought they would be able to. They even found $20, that my daughter must of hid under some chairs, and gave it to us. The home looked great for the party and I plan on using them again. Thanks!

excellent job, everything was spick and span clean from top to bottom. They did a better job than my regular house cleaners.

This was the best cleaning I ever received. Prior to the cleaning, the bathrooms had seen better days, and the kitchen cabinets had not been cleaned in years. When all was said and done, the bathrooms and kitchens were immaculate and sparkling. Better than when I first moved into my house. It looked so good, I did not want to use my bathroom or kitchen so that I could enjoy how clean it was a few days longer. Then I realized that I could just hire Hortensia's crew again! There were two ladies who came originally. When it came to the kitchen, they needed to bring in some additional reinforcements because it was a much bigger job than expected. But there was no additional cost for the extra reinforcements. They complete the job in the three hour timeframe that was estimated.

It felt the people dragged their feet and were extremely slow in the service and were looking for more hours. In 4 hours they cleaned basic kitchen (floors, stove, microwave). While the cleaning itself was not bad, it certainly is extremely slow. At this rate the whole house would take more than $1000 and I decided not to go with them. They were also 2 hours late from when they promised to come.

We had ingrid and Marcela clean our place for 4 hours, and we are very pleased with the results. Positives: very thorough, good quality cleaning and flexible about the requirements. Highlight: they managed to clean a very dirty service bathroom that was very hard to clean previously, with all sorts of paint and foam residue completely gone. Negatives: some small language misunderstandings led to cleaning parts we did not require. All in all a positive experience and we would use them again.

I used a Angies LIst deal for Hortensia's Cleaning Service for my elderly dad's house. They performed 6 hours of cleaning, and did a great job. They were on time and very polite. I'd use them again.

Couldn't be happier. I had (2) ladies come to the house, Johanna and Irma. When I get my regular service set up (which i will be, because they did awesome!) I hope to be able to request these (2) gals, because they rocked. I had my house cleaned by a totally different company last month and paid double the amount and they didn't even touch the quality cleaning this company did in 2/3 the time! My bathrooms, kitchen and floors are spotless! They vacuumed my couch, did my windows, dusted and cleaned ceilings, cleaned in my microwave, cleaned stainless steel appliances. And my house smells so fresh, not chemical fresh, just clean! There cleaning supplies seemed gentle as there are no harsh fumes. I WILL be using Hortensia based off of today. From the initial purchase everything went smoothly and professionally. First contact received soon after purchase and job scheduled at my preferred time. The team of three arrived on time and thoroughly cleaned all rooms within two hours. I did watch as they did detailed cleaning behind and under furniture and appliances not around them. I would highly recommend this company and service for your home, as I plan to continue using their services.

We have been using Hortensia Cleaning Service now for about 6 months. We have a regularly scheduled time when a team of cleaners is supposed to show up. Then, over a period of 3-4 hours the team of cleaners is supposed to clean our entire, rather large home, from the bedrooms on the top floor down to the washer and dryer in the basement. Many reviews report on the very first appointment - but that is rarely reflective of the long-term experience. Our first appointment was quite promising. A team of three cleaners showed up in their own car on time. They knew what they were doing and were extremely polite and careful. It took them almost 5 hours and they did a very good job. Since then, we have had over 12 additional appointments. The very nice part about Hortensia Cleaning is that they are consistently excellent. I requested that they send us the same cleaners each time. We have a large and somewhat complex household and didn't want to go through a 5 hour training experience with multiple cleaning crews. We settled on a permanent team of Joanna and Irma. Both are truly excellent. Joanna has a perfect memory - I explain how we want stuff cleaned and she remembers every detail. Irma has an endless patience. She goes through her cleaning jobs with perfection. One time, one of the cleaners dropped an expensive glass statue. No problem. They documented the damage and took full responsibility. There was no lying, no hassle. Everyone was sorry about the incident. We can't be angry, after all, it sometimes happens that someone drops something. And it was the only time in over 6 months that any damage was done. Over the time of 6 months, they were late only once - due to an accident on RT 287. And at that time, I got a phone call alerting me to the problem. Usually they come a bit before the appointment and wait in their car for the exact time to ring the bell. We never had an issue of anything missing in our house. In short, I think Hortensia Cleaning has provided outstanding service to us and we just scheduled the next lot of 12 appointments for the next few months with them.

I apologize for the previous negative review I posted. The cleaning was good and I understand that they needed extra time to complete the job. I would recommend them to anyone.

I am extremely happy with the services provided by Tania and Hugo. They arrived on time. They worked independently. The cleaning was excellent and comprehensive. I liked them so much I arranged to have them provide there services on a regular basis. Tania and Hugo are pleasant, and very polite people. I enjoyed having them in my home.

Not sure if this service was worth the money. 6 hrs of cleaning seems ample time, but 2 people working 3 hrs each managed to clean just living room, kitchen hardwood floors, 4 windows and 1/2 bath in that time. Paid $90 for another 2 hrs to get the 2nd floor bathrooms cleaned. The workers seemed professional enough, but expected they would clean more areas in given time. Next time, I will hire a different provider to estimate, if this is the cleaning industry norm or if I get a better result.

They did a very good job, doing a very thorough job, cleaning the house top down. I would definitely use them again for regular cleaning. They were professional.

It's just house-cleaning. Not rocket science. But the cleaners did do a good job, worked quickly, and frquently asked if we wanted them do this vs. that to get the best use of their time. This was a spruce-up before we showed our house to would-be buyers. That and window-cleaning (separate vendor) made it look great. The price for cleaning worked out to a little over $30 an hour for this service.
