However, most of the time they were late, unable to come during the scheduled time requiring a reschedule. They were supposed to continue on a biweekly schedule however, they just stopped coming even though we were very flexible/understanding of their lateness, missed cleanings. We will not be able to continue with this company because they are not reliable for our purposes which, requires a strict schedule and reliability. Otherwise, the performed cleaning were adequate.

Johanna and Roselys were great. They were more dedicated to the cleanliness of my house than I have been! My house was a total wreck. I've been hobbled by a broken foot and, honestly, there was a ton of stuff to be done before I broke it. I was expecting them to come in and do the floors, the bathrooms and wipe down cabinets and things like that. I assumed they'd push aside the junk and do what they could. They did so much more. The place looks so nice. For example, we had a living room full of cardboard recyclables that I haven't been able to take out. I was planning on doing them when I was well again, but they are all out by the curb now! I highly recommend this service and these two particular ladies. I will certainly be using the service again and will request the same people (or at least one of them).

House cleaners arrived on time. They were very nice and completed the specific tasks I asked them to do. I am very satisfied with their professionalism. My entire house sparkled. Will use again!

They asked for a priorities list and followed our wishes. Scrubbed bathrooms and kitchens and cleaned floors. Accomplished a TON in the three hours and the house looked great.

The ladies did a very good job. No issues just got to work and did a great job for the allocated time. Recommended.

We have been really pleased with Hortensia Cleaning Service, everything from booking through Teresa to the most recent team (Sandra and Waldina) who cleaned our house professionally and thoroughly on short notice. We are a busy family with two kids under three so we are so happy to have found Hortensia. We will recommend them to anyone looking for a cleaning service!

I had Hortensia Cleaning Service come at the beginning of March using the Angie's list 3 hour deal. 2 women came and did a pretty good job. They cleaned everything I asked for. I thought it was a good cleaning- not the best- but good enough to ask them to come back. This time they came back I wasn't home- my in-laws were. I'm not sure if they took advantage of my not being there- but it was obvious when I returned from work that they clearly didn't do the job I hired them to do. The outside of my kitchen fridge wasn't touched, the kitchen faucets weren't touched, the microwave wasn't touched, the stove had streaks on it, bathrooms sinks & faucets weren't touched, bedroom wasn't swept and the rug in my son's room wasn't vacuumed. That's just naming the most obvious of things that weren't touched. I'm not really sure what it was they did for 2 hours- but I couldn't believe that they felt good about taking my money and not doing anything to show for it. I immediately called Theresa (who actually cleaned my house the first time around) to complain about what happened and she didn't believe me. Can you imagine that someone would have that much time on their hands to call up and complain about something didn't happen?? Even when I said I had pictures- she still insisted that she talk to the women who came to clean. As if they would confess to not doing what was asked of them. I asked for my money back and she said they were doing something for 2 hours. If your workers are not capable of a completing their tasks in the allotted time given- perhaps they shouldn't be doing this. I even asked to talk to the owner and was told she doesn't come in the office. She basically blew me off and didn't even apologize. She said she would call me back and I haven't heard back. I believe this cleaning service is only willing to give it their all on the first visit- after that they could care less. I also believe most of these reviews are based off of one time services or first time services. I'm not interested in spending my time or money on services like that.

The workers that came were extremely professional. The owner scheduled with me and had to cancel due to people calling out due to inclement weather. this was very reasonable to me and I was appreciative of the fact that she called early. The two individuals that came, Hugo and another woman (can't remember her name) was very nice and patient. They were very kind to my newborn and played with him a bit. They were respectful of my things and did a great job cleaning and organizing. If I could afford to use them every two weeks I would. I don't think they are overpriced. However, I will use them for deep cleaning every other month or so.

When I opened the front door, I was pleasantly surprised to see Sandra and Charlene fully equipped with all the necessary cleaning supplies. They were extremely kind, courteous and very receptive to my specific requests. Attention to detail was impeccable! They truly cleaned the house top to bottom...no stone was left unturned. I felt comfortable that as I worked in my office they were taking care of everything, and they asked that I check to see if I was satisfied with their work in each room as they completed it. As a busy professional, it is difficult to make time for a deep house cleaning with my schedule, and I feel we made the right choice with Hortensia. I would highly recommend this company and would ask for Sandra and Charlene again in a heartbeat...happy, happy customer!!

The three woman cleaning crew did a good job cleaning and I have no complaints. However, Theresa, the woman who schedules and dispatches the cleaning crews is not service oriented and is very disorganized. I had scheduled an appointment for a Monday at 2:00pm and received a call from Theresa at 10:00am the day of our cleaning. She called to request that her ladies come right away (ie 10:30am). That did not work for us, ergo the 2:00pm appointment time. She agreed and said they would arrive at 2.00pm as planned. They didn't. At 3:00pm, after no one had shown or called, I made a call to Theresa to ask what was happening. She seemed confused and essentially blamed me for not taking the earlier opening, causing her to send them to another home. She said they could be there by 4:00pm, which I doubted. I assumed they would be later than that based on Theresa's uncertainty and either way it would have the crew in our home into the evening which wasn't acceptable. We ended up rescheduling for Now the next day. To their credit they did show up on time and did a fine job. I therefore have mixed feelings about this provider. In terms of the work performed I would recommend them, but in terms of scheduling and customer service I think Hortensia has something to be desired. If punctuality and attention to details is important to you, there are better companies out there.

They were punctual, responsive and did and absolutely amazing job. Also very nice and paid attention to detail.

Very professional. They did not clean the basement, mainly due to my fault (unclear instructions). They spend all 3 hours cleaning. MAKE SURE YOUR INSTRUCTIONS TO THE PROVIDERS ARE CLEAR. Will recommended to others.

I wish there were MORE stars to give this service! Truly just a great experience, they left my house squeaky clean! I have a big house and I am getting it ready to sell, I needed a total clean, all at once! I will be calling them back to help with my basement. They cleaned places I did not even know were dirty! Thanks!!

2 associates came and cleaned the house. there was some miscommunication about priority of rooms to clean and at the end of the allotted time, some of the priority items were not completed. Their office staff contacted me to see if I wanted to extend their time for a fee but after I explained that they had not finished a few of the priority items but had cleaned other rooms instead, they extended the time free of charge to complete the priority rooms.

Spotless! Truly remarkable. What a great group of people. Would recommend them to anyone!

I called and was able to get an appointment that fit my schedule perfectly. The girls showed up a little earlier than scheduled but that was absolutely ok with us. After walking through the house they explained exactly what they cleaned and got right to it. Marilyn and Johanna were excellent. They breezed through cleaning everything. My bathroom looked amazing. Will definitely have them both back regularly every two weeks now. Loved them!

Excellent response when I contacted service via email. I returned the call and they were able to answer my questions and schedule the cleaning within a week. The crew showed up late but came with a crew of 3 instead of 2 and although they finished later than I expected it was not an issue. Both Johanna and Lupe did an excellent job, worked very hard and I am very happy with the service. I will be calling the company to schedule ongoing cleaning.

Sandra and Hugo were phenomenal. They took care of every detail and helped me with little details I didn't expect especially since I was rushed and needed to turn house over to landlord.

They arrived early and were busy the entire three hours. They vacuumed and mopped, dusted and did an excellent job. Both Hugo and Sandra were polite, friendly and very professional! We are very pleased and have requested the monthly service and will be asking for Sandra and Hugo again.

Called Hortensia left message. Called right back. Explained that I needed a good, deep cleaning on a 1-BR apartment following tenant departure. Set a date and two staff were on time and spent the time cleaning everything - inside/out cabinets, appliances, floors, tub/toilet/sinks, windows (inside) window sills, baseboards. Great job, very professional. Will definitely use again. Hortensia is very professional and easy to work with.

I had a special offer of 3 hours of cleaning for $159.00. It was scheduled for the afternoon. They were over an hour late (held up at previous job?). I called to find out if they were coming and the cleaning service told me they were on their way. Marcela and Celine stayed for at least the full 3 hours. They worked very hard and cleaned very thoroughly and were very pleasant to work with. I would definitely consider using this service again.

The cleaners (Sandra and one other) arrived on time and with their own cleaning supplies. On the telephone they estimated that the job would take three hours and cost $150. It turns out that the job took four solid hours without breaks so I paid $200, which was acceptable to me. I was entirely satisfied with their service and results. They methodically cleaned my 2-bedroom townhouse which was mostly empty. They were thoughtful in emptying the house of small items I had forgotten, in addition.

I have used service many times to clean this property. Good service for great price, two ladies cleaning for three hours. Cleaned all four rooms, two bathrooms, ceiling fans and refrigerator. Requested the property be cleaned twice and Hortensia accommodated.

The service went well. The cleaning is done really well. Just a personal thing of mine when we are not watching them, they will put stuff away which is fine, but we have no idea where they put anything. Two or three weeks later, we would be looking for our pan or pot or something and it is not where we normally put it. It happened to be out and they washed it and that is wonderful, but then, they put it away and I have no idea where it is. Their responsiveness is pretty good.
