A D level job at best. They cleaned obvious items at a very basic level. Windows were not cleaned, nothing above eye level was cleaned. Floors were swept at best

The were very polite and professional! Cleaned everything in the house and was very nice!

Went very well. Came on time, are very pleasant, doors are cleaner than they've ever been, even cleaned up the hinges that were starting to rust, so now the doors are ready for painting.

Great! I have used this company previously for cleaning between tenants. Used the $159 big buy for 6-hours (2 people; 3 hours each) of cleaning. They cleaned the floors, bathroom, kitchen, inside and out of refrigerator, oven and kitchen cabinets. This is a 2-bedroom, 5-room unit. The appointment was easy to set up. They worked with my schedule. They arrived on time and got right to work and did a great job. Will continue to use and recommend.

The apartment is spotless! The crew of 2 people to clean and another to shampoo the carpeting did an absolutely fabulous job. Every bit of the apartment was cleaned, including the windows and the carpeting looks brand new.

It went well - however, there are a lot of things that you have to tell them to do - even the basic stuff - otherwise they will leave without doing it even before the block of time you paid for.

I have used Hortensia before, I am ALWAYS pleased with the results! Shirley and Tania blew through my house like a "white tornado" leaving it sparkly clean!

It was a good experience with the deep house cleaning. Their work is of professional grade. For the second apartment from where I was moving out, Hortensia gave me a good discount. Overall I am satisfied with their service and would hire them again if needed in future.

We bought the special. They did a great job...but they are always late!! 2 hours late and I had to call multiple times. I really wanted to use them again but my whole day got ruined. They didn't even call me to tell me. I had to call.

We have been using Hortensia Cleaning Service for bi-weekly house cleaning for a couple of years now and the service has always been excellent. Everything shines and is dust free. Unlike other services, we can they have been working! They will work with you to set up convenient cleaning schedule. And the price is very reasonable! Very trustworthy and all of my phone messages or text messages are always responded to promptly. I read some of the less than great reviews here and was actually very surprised since we have never had any problems. We used other services before we found Hortensia on Angie's List. The other services were fired after a few "cleanings" and we have kept Hortensia for quite a while now so we are very satisfied. I would highly recommend Hortensia Cleaning Service!!

The cleaning went extremely well. Sandra's team is amazing. This is actually the second time I've used this service and Sandra along with one other person came both times. I moved out of the house the day before the ladies arrived, however the house wasn't completely empty so the ladies had to work around a few items. It was not a problem. They did a really great job. I was especially impressed by the way they cleaned out the refrigerator as it looked almost new when they were done. Theresa is the person I spoke to both times I've used this service to make the appointment. She is very professional and knows what questions to ask to ensure you get what you need. I will use Hortensia again and again. And I have recommended this company to friends.

Two cleaners showed up shortly after the movers left. They said the cleaning included 3 hours with 2 people. After almost three hours we went back to the house to pay them and check on things, I was worried they had finished up and left. They were still cleaning in high gear and told my husband not to worry they would stay until everything was clean and encouraged me to clear out the fridge and pantry so they could clean that too. I did and they stayed until everything was spotless. They did a wonderful job and the new buyers were as happy as we were with the sparkling home.

Awful. Stopped showing up without notice and never responded to my messages about why they didn't show. Never on time and would rush cleanings. Would still be dusty after they "cleaned." Biggest thing is out of nowhere they just stopped showing up!

Everything was okay. I got what I paid for. One of them was super-efficient, she wasn’t wasting time, but the other two that came in later brought down the overall quality of work. It was rescheduled twice, I was informed about it but they came in late one-by-one. They took five hours for what should have been completed in one- to two hours. They came in when there was no daylight, so the cleaning wasn’t exactly what I was expecting.

Tania and Roselys did a great Job. The price was good and the service was great I would definitely use them again in the future.

This Cleaning Service demonstrated exceptional quality in areas of Price, Promptness, Customer Service, Punctuality as well as Flexibility. We needed deep cleaning before moving into the house and had to change the appointment multiple times because of change in closing dates - which they happily did. This flexibility was very much appreciated. They called to confirm the appointment the day before and showed up right on time. The work was done satisfactorily. I gave a "B" for quality because of minor oversight. Otherwise I think they did a great job. Thank you.

Sandra's crew did a great job and cleaned the whole house really well, better than I could have!

Overall, it was a very bad experience. First of all, very hard to get them in for service. My schedule was pushed 3 times. When they finally came, I paid them upfront due to a meeting. Before my meeting ended, they left my house at least 15 minutes earlier than what I paid them for. I still gave them a chance to explain it and willing to stay with them. But they cancelled the appointment twice and then simply ignored me after I called. I would not recommend their lousy service to anyone, period...

They were thorough, professional and did a great job in our home. We had to get them to do an extra hour which was worth it.

The service was great and the two cleaning professionals took there time to make sure everything sparkled. They spent about 3.5 hours cleaning a 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom duplex apartment and always asked if I was satisfied with each area they cleaned. With the move out service they really clean every nook and cranny inside and out of appliances and cabinets. The best part is they did such a good job I got my whole security deposit back. Which is amazing because the particular complex charges fees for each item, appliances, floors, cabinets, etc., they claim they have to clean upon move out. Matter of fact everyone I knew who moved out got charged even after having their apartments cleaned. That alone speaks volumes for how good they cleaned. Another great plus is they bring all of there own cleaning supplies and even garbage bags. The cleaners were extremely friendly and truly took pride in their work. I would highly highly recommend this company to clean your house.

I hired Hortensia to provide deep home cleaning services. Some initial positives: She called ahead of time to let me know the women to clean were running behind on time She responded quickly to my request for house cleaning Feeback on cleaning: 1. I noticed the women immediately went upstairs without taking their shoes off, nor did they have shoe covers....seems to defeat the purpose of cleaning when you're walking around someone's home with the shoes you walk the streets with. This could have been easily resolved by requesting them to take off the shoes, however it was an observation that I would assume they would address without the homeowner having to do so. 2. Three women showed up instead of two- not an issue or big deal but changed the scope of the work in terms of time shorted by 1 hour (3 to 2) being that one additional person was there. I wished that it was communicated to me prior to their arrival. I find that they rushed towards the end to fit in the time allotment, but 2 hours wasn't enough time to thoroughly clean. 3. I noticed many areas that weren't cleaned well or cleaned at all- kitchen counters still had crumbs in the corners, windowsills that I was told were wiped down weren't, items that should have been moved out of the way were left in their place and not cleaned in those areas- i.e. books on counters not moved, bags on floors not moved, etc.....very disappointed, especially when there were areas I told them to not worry about cleaning to allow more time for cleaning elsewhere. 4. One huge no no- there are certain items you don't pick up off the floor and place on top of things to clean like LUGGAGE. I noticed my husband's suitcase was picked up off the floor and placed on our bed for cleaning. I was pretty horrifed at the sight. I did notice that they cleaned the ceiling fans and dust in the corners of the ceilings of the room which was great!w Overall I needed my house cleaned quickly and the cleaning done was a start as part of my spring cleaning. Unfortunately I will not use them again as I didn't feel that they were thorough enough. Hopefully they will make some of the changes based on the issues addressed above to provide better service.

The women came, told me what they were going to do and went about their business. Very friendly and professional and did a great job. I am scheduling next week before my party to get the house cleaned again. I recommend them highly
