Berto came out and was very friendly. said he would send us an estimate. days went by never received. followed up with him again for the estimate and gave my email again and still did not receive. Due to unresponsiveness would not call again.

I have Berto did the bathroom remodel, he did an excellent job. And very accountable and completed the job on schedule. Highly recommended.

Berto and team were very professional throughout the entire process. The job started out to fix and retile the bath tub walls, but as the work began, deeper issues were uncovered which increased the amount of effort that was required. The team went above and beyond to ensure their quality of workmanship by addressing the root cause leak from the upstairs apartment, as well as replacing internal wood structures that had rotted from the slow leak, as well as being damaged by termites, which prompted the need for L&B’s services in the first place. Their work ethic is to ensure that the final product lasts for the long haul, instead of the quick fix that a previous contractor did to bandaid a small piece of the larger issue (which, quickly fell apart within months). Others may try to upsell you on services and materials just to make a quick buck, but the team ensures that if they are going to recommend something it’s because you will actually need it, all in an effort to avoid having a return visit weeks or months down the line. Berto is a stand up guy, who is willing to have candid dialogue, and open to working with you, if you are reasonable and willing to work with him. He has a passion for delivering the best work possible, paying careful attention to even the smallest of details, especially given the constraints and challenges that were faced. Highly recommended for any similar type of work, and if nothing else at least have the conversation and free estimate to see what can be offered.

L&B was great. Their price was honest and reasonable. They did everything and more that they promised. Their professionalism was evident in everything they did. All of the people working on the project were very talented craftsmen. The bathroom looks perfect. Everyday they cleaned up and they always went the extra mile to make the work exactly the way it was supposed to be. They also started on time and finished on schedule. Top shelf guys and I would definately hire them again without hesitation.

Berto just finished plumbing work but not carpet work. I am calling him and messaging him but I am not getting any response. Finally I gave up and now I am going to hire some one else.

Well as you can see from the list of work Berto and his crew were at my home for 5 weeks! I kept adding work to the job and they were great about that, Cuqui was amazing in the details of the Kitchen and trim work. There will always be issues in this large of a job and all were handled great. Berto is key on making customer happy. The issue is when I load these great pictures to show their great work they down load to Angiest List web page side ways! Tried many different ways but still side way. If you want someone who cares, does great work hire L&B! 5 Stars in my book!

All I can say is WOW!! Berto is the best professional I’ve ever worked with. He delivered first class results in a first class way. He delivered what he was contracted to and more. He takes great pride in his workmanship and has great attention to detail. Berto and his crew were prompt, punctual and a pleasure to work with. You can’t go wrong with hiring him. L & B Constructions did a fantastic job on remodeling our bathroom. Their workmanship stands out above all other’s. Unlike other companies that we’ve used in the past, L & B took their time to do it right, and not rushing just to leave ontime at the end of each day. They provided us with valuable inputs on designs that we would never have envisioned on our own. And when we made the mistake of purchasing the wrong plumbing parts, they went the extra mile to correct our mistakes by improvising outside-the-box ideas and methodologies, and they’ve also stayed on the job for several extra hours on correcting the mess left behind due to our mistakes. We’re so glad that we chose L & B, and we would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

We’ve been using Berto for a number of years now in two different houses and cannot be happier with them. Berto goes above and beyond to see our projects all the way through. He even met us at the store to pick out our supplies and gave us honest and helpful opinions. Berto and Cookie are true professionals, thorough, efficient, clean and very responsive to our needs and even continued to tackle little projects they came up along the way. Once again L&B construction did an amazing job. We had the kitchen completely redone. New walls, ripped up all the floors and replaced it with porcelain tiles. Installed cabinets and backsplash. They did electrical and lighting in my attic. They painted and did plumbing and added more space to my walk in closet They came up with great ideas and saw it all the way through. They even met us at the store to help us pick out all the supplies we needed and gave us great suggestions. They truly did a beautiful job. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my kitchen. I will refer them to anyone who asks I look forward to our next project with L&B construction! Thank you!!

Berto was very accommodating to my schedule. He had his worker show up on Memorial Day because I was off. This work cam and did what was asked, He was extremely meticulous in his work, The out come was beautiful. I am very pleased with the work and will use again in the future.

It went very well. The quality was great and the price was fair. L&B was very responsive and Berto was very easy to deal with. Berto offered some design ideas we took advantage of. Would definitely recommend and we are already using them for more work.

Received estimate from three contractors. Chose to go with L&B because of Berto's responsiveness and his explanation how he was going to execute the work as well as his enthusiasm. First day Berto and Angel came and gutted my bathroom . What really impressed me was their cleanliness , drop cloth were laid out through out the house and everything was cleaned up each day. Caesar was there the rest of the time installing all the tile and fixtures as well as patching up drywall. Cesar's attention to detail shows with his work which is excellent. Cesar and Berto as well as the rest of the crew were real professionals. Extremely respectful of my home as well as my family. I've dealt with numerous contractors in the past but have never felt as comfortable as with Berto and his crew. Before they finished we were already discussing the next couple of projects I'm going to have L & B do for me. If you are looking to get quality work done at fair price look no further .

Berto took care of my flooring installation with in a week and I didnt even visit my new home durinf installation. I gave my keys to them and they took care everything and i was updated each on the progress with pictures.

Berto was easy to work with, quick to respond, and answered all my question. Him and his crew were professional, on time, and on top of everything. I couldn't have asked for more and would work with them again in a second. Highly recommended.

After interviewing 4 different companies three from Angislist and one from a mail advertisement we chose L&B. My girlfriend truly loved his enthusiastic approach about making our Bathroom beautiful. He was our man!! LOL The communication throughout the job was exceptional. Cuqui and Berto were very knowledgeable and really helped us design how everything should be laid out. We converted from a tub to a shower that was designed with lots of Handicap items such as a fold down Moen seat and two Moen grab bars. Helped us plan support for all witch is very important! I have a Boxer and had to stay in home during construction and it is the only Bathroom in home I was able to use the toilet everyday but one because of laying floor! He said job would take 12 days and did go over by one day however he did add additional items to complete. Also installed a new window in my Kitchen wow looks great! If want the personal touch and reliable committed contractor L&B is your company.

Both installation went well initially but then after few weeks, we realized that food crusher installation was not done properly and it was blocking the draining water from our dishwasher. We had to ask another installer to fix this issue so we can use the dishwasher. The experience was worst for a kitchen vent. Immediately after the install, we told Berto that air is not getting outside (through a newly installed vent). He came to check the installation and said everything is fine. We keep suffering the same issue (where food smell was not getting out through exhaust fan) for almost 2 years. Then recently, we asked another installer to check it out. What he found out was that installation was not done properly and the air outlet area of the over-the-range microwave was blocked and hence vent was not getting the air (and hence was not venting cooking smell outside). I decided to write this review after almost 2 years of installation because I don't want any other customer to experience similar situation. I would not recommend their service to anyone else.

Great. Professional job at great price. The whole team was flexible professional and clean. We have another job scheduled with the team and expect the same terrific results.

We are very happy with the outcome. Berto's quote was very competitive and the work they did was top quality. Berto was involved and engaged in the project from day one. We are hiring him to do our other bathroom too.

I hired L&B for the first one and could not have been happier. They are SUPER responsive and extremely easy to work with, the tear down was done with almost no dust in rooms outside of the bathroom because they take so much care in their process. Berto and Cuqui do excellent "behind the scenes" work (sheet rock, plumbing, etc) and their tile work is exceptional. I think what I liked best is that Berto LISTENED to what we wanted and delivered on it ALL. I was so pleased with the work that they were hired to do the second bathroom, which includes expanding the size of the room. Can't wait to see their magic!

They are detailed and quality oriented, very careful and clean, a great working attitude which could not easily find. We are very happy with their work and quality workmanship. It went absolutely great! L&B advised us on what and where to buy the material. The contractor, Berto, was on time, went over the plan and the work schedule and then did it! He attended to all the little details that my wife loved. When a medicine cabinet install left some wall exposed, Berto (from L&B) installed custom corner molding which not only hid the problem area but complimented the cabinet as well. All the plumbing work was professionally done as well as some last minute changes that i had neglected to tell him about. Top notch work.

All jobs were done very nicely and to my expectations.

Berto and Cookie went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done right and on time. They not only demolished and rebuilt my bathroom, but changed the location of the light switch from out in the hallway to inside the room itself, along with a few other items that will make my life easier. I was very pleased with their work and their willingness to work with me until I was completely satisfied with the job. Would definitely hire again, and would highly recommend to anybody looking for competent, professionals to work in their home.
