First Choice Heating & Cooling

The team at First Choice is AMAZING!!!! They answered all my questions from the time I called to the very end when I had extra questions. They helped me find a great system that met my financing needs and I was able to get a rebate. The whole team is great!! I will defiantly use them again for my future HVAC, plumbing and electrical needs.

Angel recently serviced my boiler, and I couldn't be more satisfied. He arrived on time, demonstrated exceptional expertise, and explained every step clearly. Angel resolved the issue quickly and optimized the unit's performance. He was professional, courteous, and left the workspace clean. Highly recommended!

How did it go? Excellent. Mike and James showed up 5 minutes early. Prepped in the truck and knocked on our door as planned. Workers discussed what they planned to do and their time frame. Everything done as discussed. Workers laid down floor coverings and wore disposable "booties" so as not to mess up the house. I asked if they could look at the flexible duct work and make sure nothing is pinched or problematic. They said that they always do. We discussed that as well as the new heater at the end. Everything went as planned. Very pleased and will use them again.

They were very professional, cleaned up well, and did a really good job with the installation of the unit. It has been working really well. They have competitive prices. He made sure he got all the permits.

They showed up within an hr of calling and went extremely well. They checked and corrected the issue that was causing heating not to work

We hired First Choice to fix the air conditioner last summer. They replaced the coil, but that did not fix the problem, it just caused the air conditioner to freeze up. They came back twice more and we at least ended that blew enough some cold air to get us through the summer. This summer we've hit the exact same problem with the air conditioner freezing up. We brought in a separate company to evaluate the issue and nothing First Choice fixed was related to our issue. We throwing out everything First Choice did, replacing the air conditioner, and having our duct work fixed.

Our central air malfunctioned on Friday night. On Saturday we called their office and spoke with their office manager Michelle. She happily arranged to have their service professional come on a day and time that was convenient for us (Sunday morning). On Sunday morning their Service Professional (Robert) promptly arrived at our house at the designated time. ROBERT WAS GREAT! He thoroughly examined the power supply, opened up the unit and checked the wiring. (He also gave me some important safety tips about replacing fuses on central air systems). After about 40 minutes the issue was identified and corrected. He even worked so quietly and quickly that my family didn't even realize he was there. I would definitely recommend First Choice Heating and Air Conditioning! Thank you Michelle and Robert!!!

It went very well. They were prompt, courteous, and clean. The owner, Eddie, was very nice.

Overall, it went well. The unit has held up fine since they came out to do the work, and the pricing was fair, too. They were really responsive but there were a few things I wish they had done differently, so I'd likely price around in the future.

Everything was great. The office called to keep me posted on the arrival time of the technician. When he arrived he was very professional and seemed to be very thorough. I have since signed a maintenance agreement with the company.

Service man was on time and courteous. This was a new furnace ( 18 months old) so this was a quick checkup! Checked all items on his list for furnace maintenance. Example, - check humidifier , and test related pump draining. To save money, I had purchased new filters online before service date.

Bought an Angies List Big Deal for this service provider. It was regarding the heating furnace inspection along with cleaning and quality checks. In short everything regarding the tuning and clean-up which was a part of the BigDeal. The guy came on time. He seemed knowledgeable as well. However nothing was done as per the BigDeal. He just open the furnace opening for which I helped him on how to open. He had a screw driver in hand, check the pilot and read the manufacture date on the furnace. Thats it and it ended there. No cleaning, no quality checks, inspection about how the home is being heated.. absolutely nothing. I asked him to clean the furnace (which was a part of the deal) and he said the no we don't clean it up. I had to ask him questions regarding the air filters being used and again got very passive response. None of the instructions, advice or furnace maintenance related things came from the representative. Instead I had to ask about all these things to the extent I am aware of. We buy these deals and call these experts to guide us, not to waste 30 mins and $49. Towards the end, all I got was a quote if I had to replace my water heater and the representative told me that the company would call me for details regarding a replacement of the furnace. They did call me, but nothing beyond that. I feel that such deals are just a way to get to the potential customers and then try sell them a replacement or maintenance package/service.

AC at my retal house stopped working, that was the first hottest week of Summer. Tenant was after me to get it fixed. I found First choice here, called them. Ed sent someone to take a look and found some part was not working, replaced the part but it did not helped. We had to change the compressor of the AC, however decided to change whole system as we knew the life of the system was anyway over. He gave good price. But most importantly he responded very well in emergency and system was changed within a week.

They did not put in a name brand. I have never heard of this brand. I did not pay that much money for a brand I have never heard of. I do not have complaints with the quality of work.

It was great, he did a great job. It was the best price I got. They were efficient workers and very nice. It is just a great company to deal with. They're very professional. They gave me references and they gave me copies of their insurance. They were just topnotch.

They were phenomenal at figuring out how to do it, because I have an old Victorian and I had five different contractors in here who all shrugged their shoulders. They were fabulous at doing it, getting it done quickly and efficiently and they were the nicest people in the world. They were neat, clean and in a great price-range.

Over all the experience with Iarrapino was a very good one and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a generator.

I had over 5 HVAC contractors into my home and everyone of them gave me either an outrageous price to install Central Air or they never got back to me with a price or answer. From the moment Ed came into my home, he took charge and knew exactly how to give me my much needed Central Air Conditioning. He got back to me with his solution and provided me with an estimate within a few days. He set up a 0% interest for 12 month credit account for me so I could do the work now, while the house was under construction and not wait until Spring. His staff members, Lenny and Mario were creative in making everything work for me. There was a small snafu when the heating ducts in my daughters room protruded into the room too far and within minutes Ed put our mind at ease and by the next moring the adjustments were made by Lenny and Mario. I would recommend Iarrapino Heating and Cooling to anyone especially people with older homes.

I was experiencing problems with my AC all summer and new I needed to have the entire unit checked before fall/winter sets in. I made the appointment on Friday for Monday between 7:30am - 8:00am. The technician was there exactly on time. He was professional, and very thorough. He cleaned off different cables, caps etc. Im not sure what they're called, but I just know that it reminded me of the old school honest work technicians used to do back in the day. He diagnosed & repaired the problem, ran a test to make sure everything was working properly. I'm very pleased with the service. Iarrapino will be servicing my heating cooling unit moving forward.

Owner and operator, Ed Iarrapino, is a true professional. He is punctual, honest and explains everything about the work that will be performed.From Ed's first visit for the estimate to the last visit of his technicians. The work went pretty much to schedule! Technicians arrived each (3) days on-time, and did their work in a neat and professional fashion. When work was complete the Tech. did a full start-up and explained in detail the H.V.A.C. system to me. I definitely would recommend them to others!
