They were on time at both locations. They were very polite and professional. Even though they had to go up three flights of winding steps, there was nothing damaged. I was very pleased.

The men were great! Very professional. All the furniture was moved with care and set up perfectly.

Gary, Steve and his crew are the absolute BEST !!! In fact I've already recommended them to family and friends. They were prompt, attentive and worked under some problems that were not their fault !! Gary even was able to provide a 3rd truck at the last minute because I panicked about enough space. They went above and beyond and proved to me that movers and moving companies can be above board and BIG G are certainly above the rest!

The movers were fantastic. They came in and took care of what had to be moved in a short amount of time. From the moment they came into the house, I felt confident that the job would get done properly and in a professional manner. The "A" team gets an A+. It went great. I paid for 3 movers and they sent 4. The movers: Ray, Shannon, Troy and Eddie were very polite and friendly. They even worked around my 2 cats. One cat is a escape artist and they moved items from my basement (cat jail) without letting him out. Nothing was damaged and I would definitely recommend them.

These fellas know how to move! They did a great job. They were the perfect combination of speedy, efficient, and careful.

The crew was precisely on time at the old house. It took the crew about 4.5 hours to pack and load the trucks. This included careful wrapping of all furniture as well as special packing for TV sets and other fragile items. The trucks were carefully and skillfully packed. The crew hit the road and got lunch (which they did not book time for) and we met at the new house. Unpacking was perfect and nothing was damaged at all. They put everything away as we asked and had no issue in moving things more then once as we changed our minds. All the packing materials and trash were picked up and taken away with no issue. All fees were as promised before the job. We could not be more pleased and would hire them again without hesitation.

The move went really good, Gary called us the night before to confirm and gave us an estimated time frame to do the move. In the morning the movers called to let us know they were on the way. When they came in to move us they were pleasant and organized. They took care in wrapping up breakable items and made sure everything was covered securely.They worked well as a team and they came in to new home, they were very careful in placing everything were I wanted and put everything in place were we wanted them. No complaints they did a wonderful job and I would hire them again!

The company accommodated our date. They provided a very competitive price. The moving crew was professional, careful, and efficient. Moving is a challenge, but Big G made the 'stuff' move a no-worry experience.

the movers were prompt and friendly. they were very fast in packing and unpacking the truck. on the day of my move, my closing date got pushed back two days! we were quite upset. Gary was very accommodating and did not charge us more than he quoted for the extra days. I would highly recommend them.

I had a nine-person team - Keone, Aaron, Earnest, Roy, Shy, Tyler, Shannon, Branden and Tank. Big challenge? My driveway, which is very steep and the two trucks could not go down it without bottoming out. So these guys had to park at the top of the driveway and bring everything in from there. Not easy by any means. They arrived at 9:45 and were completely finished by 7:30 with an hour drive and time out for lunch. Trust me, these guys hustled. Only disappointment? I have glass doors to an open entertainment center that broke due to not being wrapped properly (4 others survived just fine) and the usual nicks and scrapes on several pieces of furniture. All in all, these guys were great, friendly, professional and polite.

It was excellent. They were very very good. They were quick, professional, and they wrapped everything they needed to do. They did their job and got me mother moved in a reasonable time. They made sure everything went where it was supposed to and they didn't start running their time clock until they actually arrived at the property instead of when they left their office.

Moving can be an extremely stressful time and Big G's Moving made it so easy for us. I initially spoke with Steve who was thorough with explaining the process. The price I was quoted was excellent and the level of service and the attention to handling my products with care was second to none. Steve, Roy and Tyler showed up on time and with a smile ready to help. They worked swiftly, were courteous and made me feel very comfortable. All three are an asset to your company especially Roy. I was super impressed with his work ethic. The owner Gary even showed up to lend a helping hand and introduce himself which was a nice surprise. He saved us some time and when paying by the hour that is truly appreciated. We were not nickel and dimed for little things such as packing tape or boxes. I couldn't have been more pleased how our move went and will be calling again when we are ready to move out of storage to our new house. I hope I know someone who is in need of a mover just so I have the chance to refer you the business. It's not everyday you have a great experience like this. It's refreshing to know there is a great honest reliable moving company available to call on again.

It was a great process from first contact (using Angie's list messaging) through the final goodbye. A couple of messages were exchanged to scope the job and pick a date. A quote on how the job was priced was quickly received. Steve the lead mover on the team was in contact from the road as they came to the site. The three person crew quickly sized up the house, put protective floor covering down and went to work. Furniture was carefully wrapped in all cases. The truck was carefully and expertly packed (this is our 24th move so we know what is supposed to happen.) At the new home everything was quickly unloaded, placed as we requested, unwrapped and reassembled as needed. Trash was cleaned up without issue. Payment in cash was precisely the amount according to the terms provided prior to the move. This crew was top notch and we will use them again for another upcoming move!

Big G was fantastic! They arrived on time exactly as promised, worked quickly and carefully, and were a pleasure from start to finish. These guys don't take breaks or cut corners, they work really hard to get the job done which is what your want when you're paying by the hour. They protected all of my furniture and unwrapped and placed it exactly where I wanted it in the new house. Moving is never fun but Big G made it a lot less stressful. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.

3 movers showed up 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The crew was very professional, courteous, skilled, friendly & worked at fast pace. Special kudos to one of the workers, Eddie, who worked at very fast pace. The owner of this company, Big G Movers from South Plainfield, NJ traveled to our NJ apt. in Red Bank. Price was all inclusive, $550, with no hidden charges! Gary & his wife, Traci Gerckens, run this family owned company. Although I did find one competitor who was charging $90 less, I felt much more comfortable with Big G as Gary was a straight shooter, honest and gave me lots of tips/advice. Better to pay a little extra for peace of mind as moving is always a stressful event. Highly recommend Big G to all looking for a moving company. All calls are returned promptly. The move was excellent. Movers confirmed both dates, arrived on time, introduced themselves and worked as a team in a very professional manner. They insured doorway jams and banisters were protected. They respected our property, our home and us. We would not hesitate to use them again and have recommended them to others.
