The Big G moving team of Eddie, Josh and Shannon were awesome. They were friendly, professional and efficient. I would definitely use them again.

It went as well as we could hope for. The team was on time and more importantly, came with an extra hand, which turned out to be very helpful in moving some very heavy furniture from the second floor apartment ( with a sharply angled staircase ) to the house, including some that had to be pushed up the stairs to the second floor. They shrink-wrapped everything and were very careful with all the delicate items. The cost was reasonable and there was no surprise with the final bill.

The move went very smoothly. The entire team was prompt professional, friendly and efficient. The booking process was very easy and all the costs were laid out very clearly in advance. Would definitely recommend and use again.

We have used Big G twice, once to move from Fords to Matawan, and just recently I had them load up a truck for us for our move to Maryland. In both situations, every single item was meticulously wrapped with blankets, tape and shrink wrap to ensure that not a single item (or wall!) was damaged during the removal or the move. Even the people who helped us unload the truck commented on how great a job was done with the wrapping and how it was loaded onto the truck. We were both a bit frazzled from the stress of packing and one of the first things the guy said to us when they showed up (I'm sure I looked like a jittery mess at that point) was "It's ok, you can relax, we got this." and he was absolutely right. They walked through the place, figured out a plan of attack on how to load up the truck, and with the exception of a few questions on how we wanted things, it was completely hands off for us. Moving is a stressful thing, but good movers will make it 10x easier. If we're ever returning to NJ, Big G will be the first guys I call.

They were very professional, punctual, did everything fast. Moved everything with no damage, through tight spaces.

The move was the one thing we didn't have to worry about in an otherwise very hectic day. Gary and his team were professional and polite to us and our family. All of our belongings were moved safely without damage. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to move!

I would recommend and hire Big G Movers without reservation! The service was excellent. It started with Traci clearly explaining what I needed. She and Gary quoted me a fair price, followed up with an email, and contacted me the day before my move to let me know when the movers would arrive. Moving day arrived and four movers, a large truck, and lots of supplies arrived at my old home on time. All four movers (Charlie, Roy, Tank, and Joe) were excellent because they explained everything they were going to do, ensured that everything was in the truck, packed the truck expertly, had an amazing work ethic, and did all of this with a smile on their faces! Three hours is all I was charged for loading and unloading. Gary even made a guest appearance and helped out. Joe went over the bill with me at the end of the day and it was clear and accurate. If you need to move, this is THE moving company to call. NOTE: I am a Navy brat - I grew up moving every three years. I know when movers are going through the motions or actually doing an excellent job. This company does an Excellent job.

I have moved more times than I would like to admit. So when I hired Big G movers I didn't expect much. Wow I was wrong. These guys came on time they were polite and communicated with us every step of the way. If I were to move again (I hope I never do ). I would definitely hire a big G Movers. I did not get the pleasure of seeing BIG G MOVERS in action as the move needed to take place under unusual circumstances. However, BIG G was so incredibly responsive. My friend was in a particularly sensitive and difficult position and BIG G responded with genuine care and concern. They bent over backwards to make the move financially possible, and they communicated closely every step of the way. I felt very confident that we were in good hands. Steve and his team showed up day of on time and completed the most quickly and efficiently with no problems and could not have been any more friendly or upfront with everything. Gary the owner texted me a few days later to wish me luck in the new home to add a great personal touch. They definitely care about their customers and I would use them for any move any size in the future.

these guys are as good as it gets, they are honest and will not rip you off, they are not pushy either, on the day of your move, they come with lots of guys and take the time to wrap your furniture so it does not get scratched or scratch the walls, they take the time to listen where you want each item. these guys are the best at what they do and i highly recommend them ! i have used them twice and each time has been great!

Outstanding. I have used Big G before. They took the job on short notice. The crew was very professional, courteous, and efficient. They arrived on time and completed the job promptly. Some of the items were challenging because of their size and heft and the tight spaces. No problem for these guys.

I first used Gary last year when I moved from Edison to Bridgewater. The crew for my move were terrific. They were 15 minutes early and very careful with my furniture and paintings. I hired Gary again 2 weeks ago when it was time to move my Mother from her townhouse to an apartment. Gary sent over 4 men for the move. Steve was in charge and again they all arrived 15 minutes early. Steve and the crew were very respectable to my Mom and took great care in wrapping all her paintings and moving her furniture. The move started at 9:30 and ended at 4:30 in the afternoon on a very hot August day. The crew was great and enjoyable to be with. They made it fun and we all were laughing as we worked. I highly recommend Gary for your move. He was responsive to my texts and phone calls. Gary came to my Mom's house to see if everything was going smoothly. Nothing was broken or lost during the move. I would not use any other mover than Gary's company.

We selected Big G based on reviews on Angie's List and we couldn't be happier with the result! We were moving from a 4 bedroom house in NJ to a 3 bedroom apt in Maryland, and even though we had downsized and had taken some things down ourselves, we still had a decent collection of furniture and various household goods to be moved. Everyone at Big G was responsive from the beginning. The owner Gary came to the house within a day or so of our call to give us a quote and to walk us through the process and their services. We were happy with the package and price point, to the extent that we cancelled a pending visit from another company and committed that evening. I had a few questions that I emailed over the next couple of weeks before the move, and Gary always got back quickly. The move itself happened across 3 days, with packing on Friday, truck loading in NJ on the following Monday, and unloading in MD on Tuesday. Everything went very smoothly. The packing crew arrived on time, worked hard from the start, and were very diligent in how they packed things like dishes, etc. Gary and a 4 man crew were there the following Monday to finish the packing and load the furniture on the van for MD. (We have a steep driveway, so he brought in a larger crew to handle the extra carrying involved.) They started right away and finished in 3.5 hours. We were especially impressed with the wonderful job they did in protecting some of our fragile items for the move, especially an antique sectional barrister bookcase where they built custom boxes for each section. Zero breakage when we unpacked, a far cry from what we've had in previous moves! A 2 man crew drove down to MD the same day, and were there early the next morning before 9a for unloading as promised. They only had a 4 hour window given the limits on the elevator reservation in our apt building, but they managed to get everything in and placed in our new apartment within that time. It was impressive, and a special shout-out to Tank and Roy for making it happen! A positive experience in all respects, and we would not hesitate to hire Big G again.
