Description of Work: Dealing with Gary and his crew was great. I had a sudden move come up a week away on the 31st which was also a weekend. I just started calling every mover I could on Angie's list. Gary got right back to me on his cell and within minutes moved things around to make it happen. Did a quick down payment over the phone and got a digital receipt and was all set. Day off the move, everything went incredibly smooth and even with two two-story moves all the work was done within the quoted three hours. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: Everything asked and more. The three men, Steve, Roy, and Nick were awesome. They represent what America is supposed to be, different races and cultures, working together amicably and harmoniously. They were most respectful of and careful with every item they touched. They were amenable to anything I asked them to do, including creating a "director's" spot to sit comfortably. There were a few extremely heavy pieces which they cheerfully moved upstairs or to the basement. They did not leave until everything was done to their satisfaction and mine. Gary must be included. He politely allowed me to change our moving date three times. A++

Description of Work: The co. did a for stop move. They moved all of my items from my oils home; picked up a bed & freezer from another address; picked items from my storage unit; and all items were delivered to my new house.

Description of Work: Truly the best moving experience I've ever had. Gary and his entire team are top notch. I had to pack up and head to my closing 100 miles away all the same morning. Gary arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule, with the rest of the team right behind. They wrapped furniture, disassembled beds, carefully carried boxes labeled "fragile" and loaded up the truck in about 1 1/2 hours. The team arrived the next morning, unpacked everything exactly where I asked for things to go. Everyone was genuinely nice and wanted to ensure I was a delighted customer, and I am. There were no surprises and cost was exactly as quoted. Finding a mover can be a daunting experience, but I am glad I used Angie's List to find a great one. I would highly recommend Big G Movers.

Description of Work: This was the second time we have used Big G movers. Everything went off on schedule. Gary was able to fit us into his schedule and gave us a great price. He and his crew were very accommodating. My only suggestion to him would be to be a little more gentle on the walls. Otherwise, it was a perfect move.

Description of Work: I had to move my mom from her apt in Staten Island NY to an assisted living facility in New |Jersey. Moving is stressful to begin with but Mr G movers put my mind at ease from the first contact to the delivery of mom's belongings. The guys came on time, wrapped everything very well and were very patient and compassionate as it took a while to get my mom out of the house and into the car due to her illness. They also made very good time and not only placed everything where it should go but also had very good suggestions as to where my mom's chair should be placed so she had clearance for her walker. I would definitely use them again if need be and highly recommend them. They truly care about what they do, their customers and are very reasonable as i did do my homework even though it was all within 2 weeks. |All i can say is thank you x 100.

I started looking for movers on a Monday and by Tuesday these guys had me all moved in and even dropped off items to my storage unit. The entire team was so friendly and hard workers. Description of Work: Big G Movers were absolutely fantastic! Gary and his team punctual and professional. With where I had moved from they had to walk up and down three and sometimes four flights of stairs, so it was not an easy move, but they took care of my stuff as if it was their own. I love that he charges a flat rate based on what you have not an hourly fee like most moving companies where the price can be manipulated. All in all Gary and Big G Movers made this process as easy as can be. It was worth every penny. I would use them again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend them to anyone moving. Thanks again Gary!

Description of Work: We used Big G to move our small business to a new office in the same town. They guys were efficient, courteous, and respectful of all our belongings and equipment - especially a rather large, stand-alone printer which is particularly important to us. Everything was delivered safely and placed exactly where we wanted it in about half the time I expected it to take. (It was a hot, humid day, so Gary had brought a larger team than usual.) I would definitely use them again!

Description of Work: I contacted this provider for a quote to move a couple of large items from 2 addresses, and delivered to a third address, with travel time involved. Although I did not schedule this mover, Gary was very prompt in his reply, extremely professional, courteous and helpful with tips and suggestions.

Description of Work: Big G moved my son in New Providence to his first "second floor" apartment in Weehawkin NJ where the streets are narrow and cars line the road on both sides at all times. The houses here have no driveways either. The guys took the bigger items we couldn't haul including chairs, tables, upholstered chairs and numerous "other" items. The whole thing from beginning to end took 2 hours and went flawlessly. I thank these guys immensely and would recommend them anytime to anyone!!!
