Description of Work: I was unimpressed because they were in and out - have no idea how thorough they were. They did not communicate what they did or found. They were frankly scary looking and acting.

Description of Work: While they did an adequate job, I felt a bit "invaded" as they just charged around the house jamming the vacuum in the grates, I'm not even sure they got every vent it was done so fast and never once asked me about locations of vents. I paid extra to have the dryer vent done but it actually created a drying problem so they had to return the next day top unclog the dryer vent line.

Description of Work: I don't remember the date of when they came out, so it may be totally wrong. When I had them there, they were up on the roof and off in no time. I mainly wanted my furnace chimney checked and cleaned so that there would be no danger of a fire. (I hadn't had anyone do this for a long time.) They said they found no real dirt in my chimney so that they didn't have to sweep it much at all. I'm not sure they really did much of anything or if what they said was correct. When the ad said it would be a chimney sweep with camera inspection, I thought they would have a video and show me what the inside of my chimney was like, but I couldn't even be sure they stuck a camera down the chimney. It left me feeling that I had no idea of whether they actually did a good job or not --maybe they did and maybe they didn't-- so it was very disconcerting. The fact is they were there for less than 15 minutes, and I feel $135 is too expensive for such a quick run through job. They also checked inside the bottom of the furnace chimney, but that part gets cleaned out by my oil serviceman once a year, so of course there was no work there for them. They were prompt and seemed polite, but I just don't know that I really got my money's worth of service.

Description of Work: The two men removed the ceiling vent cover in my front hall and inserted a huge hose into it. They stuffed rags around it to keep it in place, the turned on the vacuum that was in their truck. The sudden suction dislodged the hose from the vent, and the hose fell out of the vent, bring dust and debris with it. It also crashed into a stone umbrella stand in the corner of the hall--and chipped it (I noticed later). Considering they had a huge vacuum with them, they did a rather poor job of cleaning up the debris. I thought they were going to use the vacuum inside ALL the A/C registers, but they didn't--only the one in the front hall. I also was led to believe that they would go into the attic to do something with the A/C unit, but they didn't. I had to clean up after them, which I didn't appreciate. The best I can say is that for $179 my ducts were vacuumed. How completely or how well, I couldn't say.

Description of Work: The gentleman arrived at the appointed time after calling to verify the address. He proceeded to the basement and thoroughly cleaned and checked all components of my gas heater. He replaced the filter and disposed of the old one. He was here about 45 minutes and left a clean area around the burner. Living alone I felt very secure with him in the house.

Description of Work: I didn't know quite what to expect after reading some of the reviews which ranged from very good to very bad. However, I must say, the gentlemen arrived on time, answered questions politely and professionally and in detail. Their care of my property was right on.

Description of Work: - $135 for a Chimney Sweep and Inspection with Video! - 2 servicemen arrived, vacuumed chimney from inside the house. Serviceman then asked me to sign the work order. I asked them about the video inspection. Servicemen said it was not necessary. They then proceeded to begrudgingly get the video equipment out but started making comments like "I looked down the chimney and it looks ok, you won't be able to see anything on the video anyway, we told our boss he needs to buy new equipment". After these comments I said forget it, and they left. This is a scam in my opinion and would not use this company again.

Description of Work: Had two chimneys swept. Was a little put off by the office staffer who answered with an abrupt hello & not with the name of the company. However, the service was promptly scheduled, the workers arrived on time, and were pleasant and efficient.

Description of Work: Was very satisfied with the service provided. Was a little skeptical when a tattered white van pulled up, but was won over by two technicians (Kyle & Mike) who spent 2 hours thoroughly cleaning our many air ducts. They were very friendly answering questions regarding the service and took great care as they maneuvered their equipment throughout the house. Also, appreciated the dryer vent cleaning included in the special offer. I would definitely use them again.

Made me aware of other services available but did not put any sales pressure on me to purchase. Only recommendation would be to protect surrounding areas (carpets, floors) from the debris (very light) that came from some of the vents. Nothing a good vacumn couldn't handle.

Description of Work: Having lived in my home for more than 35 years, I decided to have a company clean the air ducts, so I took advantage of the price offered by Angie's List. Two workers arrived on time and completed the job in a timely fashion. They were pleasant, professional and competent.

Description of Work: They were supposed to come clean the air ducts - a hamster had gotten in and died and the smell was horrendous. After many phone calls and questions as to what was included in this price (cleaning AND sanitizing), they finally show up. The guy seemed like he didn't know was he was doing - didn't know anything about the sanitizing (actually said it was more money for that) and left. Any questions I asked him he didn't know the answer to. Finally they came to "sanitize" - and all it was was a wiping of the main vent. I really did not like how this company handled their clients. Seemed very disorganized! Sorry!
