Description of Work: The job he came to do was fine and he was very nice and polite, however whatever they used to clean the upstairs vents dirtied my carpets which are off white going up my steps. I called and they did return to clean them.

Description of Work: We were provided with a chimney cleaning and inspection at a discounted price through Angie's List deals. They arrived at the earlier time on the 4 hour window originally given and completed the work quickly and efficiently.

Description of Work: They were supposed to do mortar repair on my chimney, I bought a "special" that gave me 3hrs. of work for 99.00. Two men arrived and told me if they opened the bag of mortar I would have to pay for the whole bag even if they only used a little. Then they checked the chimney which I told them leaked through the cracks in the mortar when it rained. I left them to the repair, 20 mins. later they came to the front door and told me they had to get "muck" at home depot. Why it takes both guys to purchase "muck" I have no idea. They came back 45 mins. later worked another 1/2 hour and presented me with a bill for another 225.00 dollars for the repair. When I questioned the bill they told me they purchased 3 tubes of caulking for 60.00 a tube and used mortar to repair my chimney. I complained about the cost of the caulk and they told me that was what the "boss" told them to charge. I stupidly paid the bill without checking the repairs. When I looked at the chimney the men had squirted the caulk on the gutter (which wasn't leaking anyway) above the chimney in a sloppy manner, not only that they used two different colors! I saw three small spaces on the chimney where they put some mortar in a couple of cracks right over the moss that had grown in them. I was outraged and called to complain, I was argued with by a disagreeable employee and told her if my money wasn't refunded I would give a bad rating on Angie's list. She became enraged and told me go ahead Angie's list allows them to respond and she would make my complaint "go away". After both sides calmed down some she told me her supervisor would get back to me and come out and visit the job. As of this date I am still waiting for the visit and refund.

Description of Work: The cleaned my dryer vent and alerted me to another problem I had in the crawlspace even though it wasn't their area to remedy that. I appreciated the help. I have engaged them to due my whole house duct cleaning at the end of this month.

Gave me the price, went to store & bought part, came back & repaired vent line & cleaned it. Don't know if repair price was reasonable, but I was in no position to negotiate.
