Description of Work: I had to get a working gas fireplace and dryer vent inspected due to my condo association making a request to have the service done. I contacted this company to have the service provided. Two gentlemen arrived for the inspection and when they had performed their service on my gas fireplace, the fireplace no longer worked the same way. There was an odor of gas that wafted throughout the condo reported by my tenant. When I called customer service, the lady on the other end made it clear that the two servicemen would in no way have done anything to harm the unit. After repeated phone calls, and times where my phone calls where not returned, I talked with the owner of the business. He was kind and offered to come to inspect the unit himself. He said that customer service would contact me on Monday to set up an appointment, which they never did. The unit was inspected again, but the problem still persists. I would have been glad to have paid extra to fix the fireplace had it been not working but that was not the case. The unit was damaged sometime during the inspection and from there it was never addressed by the company. I do not recommend using this company. The customer service was confrontational and denied any responsibility towards the unit. I now have to call another company to fix the problem that they were, in my mind, responsible for. A simple show of concern or taking ownership for causing the problem would have been appreciated.

Description of Work: The technicians were on time, prepared to work, and polite. I can't see inside the duct work, so I can only assume they did a good job. The difficulty was in communication. It took three tries to get a response to an e-mail I sent about changing the date of the service. I ended up having to get a phone number from Angie's List to find out whether or not they knew I was not able to be home at the original time scheduled.

Description of Work: They came on time. Did the job thoroughly and explained the condition of my chimney clearly and anything that needed to be done with it and the cost estimate. Finally they cleaned up the area thoroughly before they left.
