I did not observe the job. I thought that it had been done properly. Later, I had a plumber come to replace the limit switch and relay on my boiler. When he opened the ducts, he found, according to his experience, 'many years of dust'. I was under the impression that the entire system had been cleaned; the plumber informed me that the level of build up killed the limit switch. I called Nu-Air because of what the plumber had found. From the beginning of that call, they were very defensive about the work they had done and that they were not going to come back. They told me that my boiler creates alot of dirt and that my house is just dirty, and that I should change the furnace filter. I have used this plumber since 2005; I had hired someone to clean my ducts three years prior to all this. My boiler is relatively new, installed in 2007; the ducts were cleaned thoroughly shortly thereafter. This all tells me that the amount of dirt built up in seven months should not be enough to cause these types of issues.

They didn't do the job how I expected or how I thought it should have been done. I was not satisfied with their work. We had to vacuum the whole house after they left because they left a mess.

Very punctual and professional. Left the job perfectly clean. May have been a bit more than other sweeps, but the video inspection probably made it worth the extra couple of bucks. No troubles found (so at least they were honest, and didn't try and upsell.) I would use them again.

Overall, I do think they did a good job of cleaning the vents, but the professionalism was lacking. When they told me they were finished, I discovered that one of my newest vents was left open with the screws left for me to see. I have not be able to secure this vent. Also, the service men did not sweep up the debri left in the work areas. In summation, I was disgusted by the lack of professionalism. Perhaps, this was because the work was paid for upfront.

When I called to make an appointment, the receptionist was very cordially and helpful in getting the initial date. Overall it was okay. However, I did not check behind them when they were finished. So I did not notice that all the vents had not been put back the way they were before cleaning. Therefore, I had to call and have them come back to tightening up the screws in some of the vents. They tighten some and then they told me that some of the air ducts were not able to be screwed in because they had been held in place by caulking. They could caulk the ones that needed to be caulked but I would charged for this service. I did not have them caulk them, I had a friend to do it. I feel that if they knew that some of the air vents were not tighten or able to be put back the way they were before being removed for cleaning, the technician should have brought it to my attention before he left.

When I called, availability for an appointment was very good. I was very pleased that there were Saturdays. On the day of my appointment, they ran late. My appointment was between 12pm-5pm. I received a call that they would not be able to come until after 5pm with an offer to reschedule. I kept the appointment. They arrived between 6pm and 6:30pm. The job took about an hour. Some of my vents were painted on but the technician took them off with ease. Although a few of the vents were not put on as tightly as before, I will be able to replace them now. The technicians were polite and friendly and didn't mind answering my questions as they worked. In conclusion, I would use this company again and refer them to family and friends.

I bought a "big deal" they were running for a $70 furnace check up. I called them that afternoon to schedule a time and they were easy to get in touch with, friendly, and helpful during scheduling. They were able to come out within a few days and they arrived on time, did a good job, and cleaned up when they were finished. The service man was very friendly with my 2 year old as well. I'd use them again in the future.

They were very punctual and explained to us exactly what they were going to do. They worked quickly in order not to interrupt our life.

The guys (2) arrived on time and were very nice. Setup to finish was about 1.5 hours. The house was kept clean during the whole operation. Would recommend and definitely use again.

Service was punctual, professional and completed quickly. Dryer vent cleaning is a little too expensive for a service that only took a few minutes.

It went very well. I received a call from them to schedule within a day of my initial contact. Staff was friendly and responsive. The workers showed up on time and explained the process to me. They were careful on my hardwood floors and performed the work quickly. Both gentleman were very professional and courteous. They offered to clean out my dryer vent for an extra charge and I accepted this. They advised that the screen I had on my vent to prevent the birds from building nests in the outside vent was a fire hazard and they removed it. They recommended that I purchase a product especially designed for this from Lowe's or Home Depot. I am very pleased with the quality and professionalism of the staff and the service they performed. The cleaning made a tremendous difference in my indoor air quality, and I have noticed much less dust since having the work done. I would definitely use this company again.

Terrible. Heres the story. I was moving in on Jan 29th into a 120 year old home. I had done a lot of work to get the house ready for my family, including my 7 month old son, and planned to have the duct cleaning on Fri, do a deep clean of entire house on Sat, and move in on sunday. I set up the apppointment over a week in advance. Friday comes around, I get a call asking if it is ok to pull into my neigbors driveway to use thier truck. I said sure. I call my wife to tell her that they are at the house, she says she doesn't see anyone. I call the company, who tells me that they have to reschedule because the truck can't reach, and that someone should have knocked on the door and told my wife. Screwed me once. Then on the reschedule date, they called and said thier portable equipment is down and they have to reschedule again after they get it fixed. Screwed me twice. The third time they finally showed up, obviously unhappy that they had to lug the portable equipment around, and did a poor job. They didn't get all the vents off, and the ones they did were improperly put back. Very loose. They acted like the vents were too difficult to remove, but I used a little wd40 and some elbow grease and got them off and cleaned them myself. One guy did most of the work, while the other acted like he didn't even want to be there. Then, in front of the vents are piles of black dust that I had to clean up myself. Finally, there is a layer of fine black ashlike dust on everything now. I did a deep clean of the whole house, so I know it wasn't there before. I suspect that when they used thier sweep brush, they scraped a lot of rust loose, and that has been "snowing" down on the whole house as the heat runs. Great for my 7 month old, and god help me if he gets sick from this. Screwed me three times. Three strikes your out. Big deal, more like big dissapointment. Thanks for nothing. Pay more for another company to do it right and do it professionally. What a let down.

All went well. The process itself was a bit intrusive--loud and main vacuum hose had to be kept connected to the truck, which meant that a door had to be left open, chilling the house (it was a wet, cold day). However, the men worked hard, were thorough and professional, and worked as quickly as they could while still getting the job done properly.

They were very punctual. actually earlier than the appointment. Their dispatcher called more than a half hour before they arrived to let me know they were available to come early and asked if it was ok. When they got there they were very cordial but the large equipment they had ended up scratching our newly stained hardwood floors. They also did not clean around all the vents where the dust had blown out so I had a lot of cleanup to do after they left.

Overall I was extremely satisfied with the services provided. I will use them again in the future.

Large 4hour window for appointment, although they did call 45 minutes before arrival to let me know they were on the way. I was told no holes are cut in duct work when appointment was made. The cleaners did use a covered trap that was used before for their large vacuum. Two return ducts were missed, and one outflow duct was missed. Its hard to evaluate something you can't actually see (inside of the ductwork), but they undoubtedly are cleaner than they were before. HVAC registers are cleaner and the part of the duct you can see looked clean. The servicemen did seem rushed. outflow ducts were brushed, and return duct were cleaned with compressed air.

Overall my vents are clean and the job was completed timely. They completed the job that was asked of them. The price was reasonable and the staff was friendly and informative. I would have adjusted the ratings higher if it weren't for cleanliness or rather the state my house was left after the cleaning. After the job was completed I noticed dirty hand prints on my freshly painted walls. The entire house had to be vacuumed due to the dirt that was extracted from the vents and a few carpets needed to be shampooed due to the machine that was used to extract the dirt left a black line. Had they put something beneath the machine to protect my carpet/floors, worn gloves and vacuumed the areas around the vents, they would have received an "A" rating. I do have to add that this was my first "vent cleaning" experience and the after effects I experienced may be a common practice.

Purchased as a Special Angie's list coupon sale. Scheduling was easy and date was kept over the intervening months. Kyle and Steve arrived within the time period set and quickly went to work. They were very efficient and steady in their work.

Servicemen (2) showed up as described, were clean in appearance, friendly, and went straight to work. Good communications as to what they were doing and answered all questions. Neat work done and cleaned each area before leaving. Moved furniture as needed and replaced same.

Very professional, polite, on time and thorough cleaning. We noticed the difference in our air flow after they left. Recommend.

Nu-Air arrived promptly and got started right away. Although this is a large house built in 1950 whose previous owners had *never* had the vents cleaned, everything went smoothly. All the vents had been painted over many times, yet Kris and Mike were able to get them all off for a deep cleaning. There was only very minor chipping of paint as a result--I was expecting much more as my efforts to remove a few of the vent covers had been frustrating and messy. Through it all, Kris and Mike were professional, polite and very, very good with my three excitable little dogs. I would rate them as very pet-friendly and understanding of canine behavior. The air in my house was noticeably cleaner right away, and everyone in my family has felt less sniffly since the cleaning. I plan to have this done at least every other year and strongly recommend that anyone with forced air heat and cooling do the same--and be sure to call Nu-Air to do it!
