The crew of 2 arrived in the morning by 9AM as the company promised. The scheduling was helpful, and easily worked around my schedule. The crew was nice and answered my questions and told me that we needed to change the filter in another week or so. They put slippers on their shoes walking through our house, which was good because it had rained the night before. They went from room to room and did most of the ducts. They did all our ducts that were on the floor and easy, they didn't get the few that were in the wall, and didn't to the intake vents. I didn't realize this until afterwards.I had asked for the dryer vent to be done, which wasn't part of the special, and paid the $75 charge. Our dryer comes out of the roof, and all of the lint landed on my back deck. They did go up on the roof and check the vent, but left the lint all over our deck, that was still wet. They could have asked for a tarp to put down. It needed to be done, as it was clogged pretty bad, but a little help with the cleanup would have been nice, and $75 is a lot, but added with the air-ducts I felt it was doable. It all took about and 90 minutes. Overall I'm happy with the work done. I see a noticeable lack of dust and the air through the vents seems cleaner, so I will get this done again in a few years, but I'm not sure I would use Nu-Air.

Techs arrived on time in an umarked truck. Both guys very nice, but both need new company shirts (the ones they have were tattered). Spent about 2 hours thoroughly cleaning all vents and returns. Very tidy in the house, but left a mess of lint in the garden where the dryer vent discharges. A simple tarp on the ground would have saved me an hours work trying to rake the lint out of the mulch. Otherwise a good value and nice folks. Office staff very pleasant nd flexible with scheduling/

Scheduling was difficult. They did not show up when they were supposed to. They did not call to inform us of when they would come.

Nu-Air arrived right on time. When I asked them how long it would take, they told me 30 mins. It actually took more like 75. No big deal. They cleaned all the vents, as promised, as well as the dryer vent. The two gentlemen who came to the house were friendly and pretty good-natured.I will not hire them again because they were quite sloppy. I have pretty high standards and appreciate when people coming into my home treat it with care, respect and professionalism. This was not the case with Nu-Air. In order for ducts to be cleaned, apparently a hole needs to be made into the duct work so it can be vacuumed out. They removed the metal patch that was currently covering that hole. It was neatly screwed on, then covered with aluminum tape. When they put it back on, screws were not screwed in all the way, and the tape is now lumpy and messy. I will now have to re-do this myself. When it came time to do the dryer vent, another mess occurred. My dryer vents out from a basement window that happens to be at the bottom of the stairs leading to my front door. At the bottom of the stairs is a mat to catch debris from shoes before they walk in. The man who cleaned it paid no attention and dumped all the dryer lint he cleaned out onto this mat and my front grass. He did not clean it up, and I and to pick up all the lint myself and comb out the mat as well. Another irritating problem occurred while they were looking for the air return. When I pointed out that it was behind my couch, the two said they'd move it, and then proceeded to do so with dirty hands. I have a white couch! They had no problem using my soap and my basement sink to wash their hands after the job was done, though. None at all.In addition, to attach the metal cover back on the ducts and to "sweep" my basement floor (which I had to do again after they left) they used MY screwdriver and MY broom. I think they should have come prepared with the tools they would need to complete the job right.

The crew from Nu-Air were friendly and very professional. I most appreciate the fact that they cleaned up behind themselves and left minimal residue. The only drawback came with chipping the paint when the vent covers were removed. Unofficially I was later told that if a utility knife was used to score around the perimeter of the vent , they could have avoided the paint from chipping.

after 6 weeks I had never heard from them to set up an appointment to do services so I removed myself from the deal.

Bought Angies list Big Deal for vent cleaning and ended up getting the dryer vent cleaned for an add'l $75. Thought it was expensive, but actually not as I had a lot of dryer lint and dust in the ducts. Also had them do do a chimney inspection and found there were cracks that needed repair. They had to come back 3 times to work on the chimney, but I guess it was a lot of work and they came working when it was 95 degrees out. Overall I was satisfied.

Men arrived on time and explained work completely before beginning the job. They even took special concern for my small dog who would be affected by the noise generated by the large equipment used to clean the ductwork. Each accessible duct and vent was cleaned to my satisfaction. They even informed me that the filter on my main unit required cleaning/replacement. Both men were courteous and professional. The job took less than 2 hours. Very little debris was left behind despite this being (probably) the first time that the ductwork being cleaned since installation over 15 years ago.

This was not a good experience. I bought a "Big Deal" with this company and got a whole-house, unlimited returns, etc. air duct cleaning for $179, but even at that price this is not something I would recommend to a friend. First, unlike other companies I've bought Big Deals from, this one made no effort to contact me or ensure that I utilized the coupon - I did not think anything of this at first, but in hindsight I think it reflects their overall lack of professionalism. In contrast, for example, another heating/air company that I bought a water heater deal from has been all over me to schedule an appointment. When I contacted them to make an appointment, they first gave me a five-hour timeblock in which to wait at the house for the technicians to come. That day they finally did show up, five hours and twenty minutes after the start of the five-hour timeblock, but took one look at my driveway and said they would have to come back another day because their regular system wouldn't work. If they'd asked me about my driveway on the phone, I could've saved them a trip and myself five hours and twenty minutes of waiting for them. A few days later they called to reschedule and let me be the first one on the schedule - I was told the technicians would arrive at 8 am. They arrived after 9, and the first thing they did was ask if I had one system or two. When I told them I had one they said they were glad because they wouldn't want to have to charge me the extra $120 for an extra zone. Considering the big deal the Big Deal made about the "unlimited" number of vents and returns, I thought it was pretty shady that they were clearly waiting to spring the extra charge for extra zones on customers at the time of the service. At any rate, they said they could attach the vacuum-like part of their operation to the vent in my foyer and get going. In doing this they left the door open (which had to happen), but also decided not to close the inside door, which would have at least limited the amount of air conditioning escaping on this 90+ degree day. They also opened a window to pull in an extension cord, which is fine, except that they opened it way wider than necessary, and never put back the chair and side-table haphazardly strewn around my living room. Finally, I was not happy with the service itself. The way it works is that while there's a vacuum-like thing that sucks out all the g*** from one vent on the bottom floor, they run around the house and kind of force air through the other vents. What they don't do, though, is provide any seal between their air-forcing machine and the vent they are forcing it into, so in front of each vent you immediately get a blow-back of awful dust and black fuzz-bunnies, etc. I didn't realize they were doing this throughout the house because I was in the kitchen with the kids, but when they got to the kitchen vents and I realized they were creating gross dust clouds of exactly the stuff I hired them to get rid of I said something to them and they said, "Well, your floors were pretty dirty anyway." ?! I guess it's a valid point that my kitchen floor is not sparkling, but even that does not have a layer of black dust on it, and certainly the floors in the kids' room, the kids' playroom, my bedroom, the upstairs hall, etc., WERE quite clean, thank you very much. I bought this service because we were having construction done and I figured that, with the amount of dust I was cleaning off the floors daily, the vents would be a mess and it would be worth $200 to get them good and clean. Instead, the house now looks a lot like it did after a day of construction (admittedly not as bad - but that thin film of dust is BACK - darn it!!), and I frankly have no confidence at all that the vents are actually clean. I'm not sure if this business' competitors are any better or if they have a better system or whatever but I would not recommend this service to anyone at this point, certainly not with this company. Their paperwork suggests that air duct cleaning is something that should happen regularly and all I could think was, "Never again."

Availability for appointments was good. They called a day ahead to confirm and that morning on their way to the house. Two gentlemen provided the service. They were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner. They offered further services (as required of them by the company), but accepted my answers (No, thank you) without further pushing.

I purchased a deal from Angie's List for their services. The price was worth everything that they did. They gave us a time frame of 8 a.m to noon. they called at 10:40 a.m and they said that they were on their way. They showed up at 11:40 a.m. It would have been nice for them to call earlier with a better approximation. They came and did their job and then left. There were some spots were some dirt was left. I cleaned it up after they had left. They did more work than I have done in thirty years. There was nothing above and beyond. They asked me where the air conditioning unit was and if it was in the basement. I said that it was in the attic and they didn't even go an look at it. They said that they got it all.

I called them and told them that I purcahsed a Big Deal for $179 for Whole House Air Duct Cleaning with UNLIMITED Vents AND Returns. I told her that I ordered this deal for the unlimited vents and dryer vents and she asked me for my order number. At that point she should have told me that it would be an extra $75 to have the dryer vents cleaned. Nothing in the Big Deal says anything about 'extra costs' or 'limited to...". The two guys who came to do the job were very good, though. Even my receipt doesn't say anything about extra costs, which I think it should be. It was just very misleading.

They made my husband happy. They were here for a couple of hours and did a thorough job.

I was dissatisfied with service I received from this company. I did not receive what I expected and they were slightly ambigious about the results that they found. They did not provide the actual amp level or volt levels, just that they were good.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal. I called and scheduled an appointment and was able to get one on Saturday in the morning. I was given a time frame from 8am - 12 noon. The technicians called a little before 11 am and said they were on their way. When they arrived they went to work right away. They could access the vent through my basement and they hooked up the hose to their truck. It took about 1 1/2 hours to complete. There was no excess dust around the house after them finished. The two gentlemen who came were professional and very nice to work with.
