My experience with Nu-Air The Healthy Choice Inc. went well. They were good. I didn't have to explain things more than once. The technician knew what he was doing.

Overall we felt like our service was a good experience. The men were professional and did a fairly good job cleaning up when they left.

They were very personable and told me exactly what they were doing. They were on time and communicated well.

I trusted the reviews regarding Nu Air and found them to unprofessional from the moment I called them. My gut said cancel and find someone else but my brain rationalized and said they have to be good the ratings on Angies List all point to a solid B performer. My gut was right. I contacted them multiple times and got multiple people using the number provided on this site and the answer was always "Hello" they never identified that I had reached Nu Air or even who they were. I scheduled my first appointment and waited. When my appointment window came and went without so much as a phone call from them I called them to confirm my appointment. They had taken my phone number down incorrectly and their policy is that they do not come out to an appointment unless they confirm the day prior with the home owner. They did not communicate this procedure to me when I scheduled or I could have called them the day prior when I had not heard from them. No apology or discount was given for this mishap it even seemed that the person on the other end was irritated at me because of the mix up. Second appointment made, confirmation the day prior done, finally go time arrives. The gentlemen that show up are literally rough and toothless, I don't expect contractors to be in a suit and tie but seriously shower you're coming into someone's home. I introduce myself to the first man I see shake his hand and offer him a coffee to which I receive a prompt "No thanks" but no name in return. It may just be me but I like to know the names of the people coming in my house so i can address them properly. Same interaction for man number two. At no point do they offer to explain the process to me or how long it will take they just start in straight away. That may work for some people but that isn't good with me. They ignore me for the length of the job, ask for payment and eventually pack up and leave. At the jobs end they didn't even offer to show me anything that had been cleaned, ie a before and after, to show me what a good job they did. After they leave I take a walk around the house to see if all the vents are back in place the return covers are on etc and find that they left the house an utter mess. The laundry room floor is covered in lint, the carpet around every vent has a circle of black dirt surrounding it, there are large deposits of a fine black powder randomly throughout the carpet and there are pieces of aluminum tape everywhere on the carpet. This is clearly a dirty dusty job so i would expect the last part of the job is to vacuum the premises but I can assure you that is not part of the deal.

They came while my husband was home and cleaned the chimney. He was very pleased.

Very professional. Did not leave their stuff all around the house.

Overall the services were performed as requested. We did receive a request to arrive earlier than the scheduled time on the day of the servicing, which was not a problem. They were courteous and completed the job in record time in comparison to another vendor who had previously performed similar work. I am pleased with the quality of the services rendered.

They did everything they said they were going to do in a timely manner and didn't leave a mess at my home.

When I first contacted Nu-Air to schedule the service, they were very quick to respond and schedule the appointment which was great. My husband was home when the gentleman came to perform the work. It only took 45 minutes to clean out the vents. Since the vents haven't been cleaned in I can't tell you how long, not sure if that's normal or not. I emailed Nu-Air after the service was performed as a follow up to see how the process went and how dirty our vents were, etc, but never got a response. Seems like all they cared about was us buying the package and just doing the job. Customer follow-up was poor.

The duct cleaning was good & reasonably price but the $100 for the dryer duct cleaning was over priced.

NB: Angies List will only let you submit this if you choose either YES or NO for "would you use them again." THAT IS A BAD QUESTION. Angie, let us have a choice of MAYBE. They did everything fine except failed to screw in one of the duct covers well. It has never seated properly since. I didn't notice it until a few days later and thought I could get it back myself. I probably should have called them back. Except for that carelessness, they were fine and I MIGHT use them again. Angie's List should offer a Maybe choice above.

They arrived in a timely manner and did the work quickly. They were friendly and used a vacuum truck which was nice. They could have cleaned up a little better after the work was done. I did have to attach the dryer vent hose.

After a heads-up call from their dispatcher, the techs promptly arrived within their specified time window. The whole process from setup to cleanup took only about 30 minutes. Everything went well.

Kyle and Michael were both very friendly and efficient. However, Nu~air provides a variety of cleaning services, which might explain why I've worked with chimney sweeps who have been more knowledgeable about my particular stove set up. No complaints; I'll just plan to bring in a chimney sweep specialist next time.

They did an okay job. However, I felt they were in and out very quickly. I felt they could have done a deeper clean.

Found these guys through a big deal offer. Service was average. The thing I didn't like is that the guy had dirty hands and left dirt marks all over my walls. They also went through the house really fast and I feel like they did not see/ clean all the vents.

Two men came to the house (they were on-time), hooked up a hose to one of the vents on the first level, then went through the house, vent by vent, blowing all the dirt and dust to the main hose they hooked up. I've been wanting this done for some time, as my house seems to get dusty fairly quickly. Plus, I have a dog who sheds. The men said my vents really weren't too dirty (my house is 10 years old). And I'll admit, I really don't notice a difference. So perhaps I didn't need this cleaning after all. The price was much more reasonable than other companies have quoted, so I'm glad I got it done. At least I know we're breathing cleaner air.

The experience was good. I called them just before the offer was about to expire but they were able to accommodate me. They were courteous and prompt and when I questioned what they were doing, told me everything. I'd use them again.

Everything went fine. They arrived in time, and were very nice. There was a register or two that were painted on and were troublesome to get off. They did manage to get them off, but when they put them back on they used clear silicone adhesive to essentially glue it back on. But they didn't do a neat job or smooth it down at all. So basically we have gobs of clear silicone all around the vent in our living room. That's really our only complaint, everything else was just fine.

Took advantage of the 3 hour/$99 offer from this vendor. The company's office responded promptly to our initial call, scheduled the appointment in a timely manner, and called the day before to remind us of the appointment. Workman arrived promptly on day of the job, and set out immediately to get the job done. He worked non-stop to get the work done. There was an additional charge for materials used, and an additional hour of service. Overall, very satisfied with the results.

1. One floor register was bent and one return register was bent (which I eye witnessed first hand, the guy bending it then trying to bend it back in place). 2. My blinds and curtains that needed to be adjusted so the service could be performed was not returned to their original place meaning my blinds were left up and askew and my curtains left tossed up over the valance. 3. Two of the four screws were missing from the register and when I said something the guy played dumb, like oh were there four? I replied, yes, and then proceeded to show him the screw that had he had dropped and left in the toilet. He then looked at me like he was not putting his hand in the toilet, so "I" offered him rubber gloves and he proceeded to remove it and replace the screw. Went to his truck to get a fourth screw. Upon inspection I indicated the register was not properly aligned and he indicated because he had to make different holes because the holes were "stripped". I informed I disagreed because that was the first time the screws had been removed so how could the hole be stripped? He said it was drywall and I told him that STILL after only one removal the hole should not have been stripped and then I indicated, lets just agree to disagree. 4. The two servicemen that showed up had an over powering smell of cigarette smoke 5. While providing services they were conducting personal business (texting on their phones continually) 6. I was only informed that some light debris would be generated in the "upstairs bathroom only from the blowing of forced air" upon my inspection after wards there was more than some light debris upstairs, BUT ALSO in every room that was serviced. My home was left dirtier than when they arrived

The only unfortunate part was that they were coming from NJ, over an hour away that took two hours due to traffic. Technicians were very pleasant and efficient.

The technicians were very nice and efficient. The home is old and has a lot of things in the way, and they were great to work with! I would definitely recommend them and use them again.
