carpet installation
+ -1 moreMr. Krouse fixed the carpet as best he could. It turned out far better than I expected. Pete from ServiceMaster sole me an extremely cheap carpet as the "top of the line". The awful installation done originally by Tortu made it near impossible for Mr. Krouse to get this carpet to fit exactly as it should be, but that was no fault of his. He did a far superior job than what I ever thought was possible, especially after just spending nearly SIX MONTHS with ServiceMaster on what should have been a 2 or 3 week job.
Description of Work: I needed to have a major repair done on a brand-new rug installation done by the ABSOLUTE WORST CARPET INATALLERS in this country --- Tortu Tile & Flooring. Tortu was hired by ServiceMaster of Cherry Hill, NJ, who I still need to report to the state of NJ for fraudulent business practices, for all of the damage done to my home, for cheating on supplies and claiming to use "professionals" when they are known as "hacks" to those locally in the business. Mr. Krouse did a FANTASTIC JOB --- far above what I thought could be done, to repair the horrid seam that was done and stretched the new carpet as far as he could to the back door. Tortu's "workers" put down the new carpet like a patchwork quilt, pieced in seams in all directions. I found out that Pete Smyth, owner of ServiceMaster, Cherry Hill, lied to me about the colors of carpeting that were now available, telling me that I could not get the color I wanted since only a small number of colors in "natural tones" were now available. In reality, that's what he was able to get or had --- and he jacked up the price by more than $6.50 per sq yd. I only wish that I had met Mr. Krouse BEFORE I followed my insurance company's advice and hired ServiceMaster. Take my advice and NEVER HIRE SERVICEMASTER OR TORTU. YOU WILL REGRET BOTH BUSINESSES. If you need ANY carpeting services, definitely call Rick Krouse!!!!!

Description of Work: Mr. Krouse was right on time and very friendly. He offered a good selection of carpets to choose and came to install it within a couple of days. He and his workers were professional. They cleaned up very well also.

+ 0 moreMr. Krouse was a pleasure to work with. He had a lot of samples to show us and helped us with making the right choices. He and his men came to install the carpet two days later. They were friendly and professional. They worked neatly and did a good job cleaning up. I would highly recommend him to others.
