Description of Work: Repaired several small interior and exterior projects in my home. I highly recommend Jack and will be contracting him for future projects.

Description of Work: I had plenty of supplies but he didn't like the ones I had. He didn't take measurements, just eyeballed it. He was only there for 45 mins. Big waste of $150. I had a friend come over and used what I had and got it done.

Description of Work: I had them install a pre-hung external door. My old house (built in 1930) has plenty of quirks that often makes, what appears to be a simple job complex. This project was no exception. Jack initially sent two of his men to do the install. They arrived promptly with the door. So far, so good. Upon removing the heavy molding the men decided that the job would require reframing the old doorway which was beyond their ability, so they called Jack who said he would come by the next week to personally install the door. The workers then put the door back without the moldings, which was okay as this is a side door. | |Jack and another helper came out next week as promised and after lots of ripping, tearing and rebuilding; the new door was installed. As I said, the job got complicated. I recommend that you inspect their work carefully. It was a busy day for me and I didn't. The spackling around the door was sloppy. There were several gaps and holes that I later had to fill in prior to painting. |

Description of Work: Chimney cleaning and wall mounting. It went well. A little expensive for the wall mounting. I would use them again.

Description of Work: I sent a request through Angie's List to this service provider and never heard back from him and it's been a week.

Description of Work: Because I bought a special deal, I should have been more careful to make a list long enough to fill 2 hours. This was not Jack's fault, but I paid $150 for 65 minutes of work. The workman was due to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 AM, and he actually arrived at about 8:45. He was very apologetic, and it wasn't really a problem, but thought I should mention it.

Description of Work: I needed some odd jobs done - replacing 2 interior doors, adjusting a door, installing a vent cover, and patching some ceramic floor tiles. The work was high quality. I was expecting only one person to work for my prepaid 4 hours, but he brought a helper, so I got more work done than I would have anticipated in the allotted time. Jack picked up the new doors before arriving. One of the doors proved to be defective during installation, so Jack went to a local Lowe's to get a replacement. I was not penalized for the extra time it took to rework the door and its hardware.

Description of Work: He came and gave me an estimate. After I acquired the materials it took him forever to get back to me. He came to the house one other time and was very rude and unprofessional. I was even going to give him another chance and speak to him about his outburst but he would not return my calls. This seems to be an individual with quite a temper. I would not recommend to anyone wanting a professional.
