They made an appointment and then never showed up. I called to rectify the situation but they never returned my call. I would not recommend them.

Amazing! Very happy with the prompt service and the professional job.

Took longer than estimate stated. Some days and weeks at a time they didn't show up. Jack was hired but his nephews did much of the work and somethings needed to be redone. Everything Jack worked on was great though!

It was fine. I would recommend them because of their cost and quality. They're prompt and accurate in billing.

They showed up on time, the owner and his assistant. They worked through all the projects and only took one short break. The work area was neat when they left. The projects were done to my satisfaction.

They were wonderful. They were on time. They were efficient and very polite. They had excellent pricing, it was free! I couldn’t believe it was free!

Right before giving me the estimate, I was asked for the amount of the loan I applied for. I initially hesitated to provide this information, and when I stated the amount of the loan I specifically reminded that there are other things I wanted to have done. As soon as I gave the figure, I was given an estimate that was blown up three times the cost that other contractors (who are working on becoming approved contractors with the loan company) had given me, and was $700 over the loan amount after they presented me with numerous "discounts" for doing multiple projects at once. I feel that the company tried to take advantage of the resources that I am working with to get as much money as they could for the job, which would have forced me to have to cancel other jobs I need done in order to meet my budget, had I not gotten other estimates first.

It was really good and we wouldn’t hesitate to call him again. He was very conscientious and thorough! The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of the work.

Jack was great! We have a window in our shower, and whoever installed it years ago used wood. Well, it rotted. We called Jack, and scheduled an appointment with him for an estimate. He was very professional and easy to talk to. He quoted us on simply replacing the bottom rotted sill. However, it turned out that more of the window frame was damaged from water than we originally thought. Jack replaced the entire window frame and only charged us for the extra materials (about $50). He didn't charge us anything for the extra time and labor. The window frame was wonderfully done. We recommend Jack to everyone, and would definitely use him again.

Jack and his workers did an excellent job.

Jack and his crew did an excellent job with the demolition and then the remodeling of our upstairs bathroom. He even provided us with names of ceramic tile stores in the area which we used and found the exact tile we were looking for. His crew always left the work area clean when they finished each night. We were able to go out and purchase the supplies we wanted and Jack did an excellent job of installing them. The wood work around the closet doors were matched to the existing wood work in our house. Overall we are very pleased with the work performed and the price for the work.

I have had some good and some bad experience, but mostly good.

He came out with a good plan but it was like every electrician I contacted had a different plan. Everybody wanted to do it differently. I did pick somebody who was gonna do electrical through my walls and I think he was gonna run it differently. The price he charged was reasonable. I didn't pursue using their service.

Jack of All Trades got in touch with me very quickly and was always prompt with communication. They were honest, knowledgeable and quick with the work. They sent me an invoice after the job was done.

Called today about a bathroom overhaul. Was told by a secretary that Jack is "a working man" and "only does estimates on Sundays". That was all fine. She said the soonest Sunday he could come- even to JUST LOOK- was December 7th. When I said that was too far away for us, she said "sorry we can't help you" and hung up. She made no attempts to find an earlier time or an alternate day that might work for us. I really doubt the professionalism of a company that is running in this manner; how could it be that there is so much demand for estimates and yet the model of "Sundays only" or "only by Jack" is not reevaluated. There is a whole lot to question here- not least of which being a somewhat cheeky and unaccommodating receptionist.

Handyman responded right away to my phone call and came out to look at the job. He seemed knowledgeable and gave us some ideas. He said he would get back to us in a week or two with an estimate. I had to hunt him down for the estimate. His wife lied and told me he emailed it, and he did not. Finally, he sent the email and it was only a partial estimate for one of the rooms. I was very surprised at the extremely high price. I guess we looked either rich or like suckers. I put alot of time into getting estimates, and do not appreciate it being wasteful. To be fair, maybe his work is good but I wouldn't know.

I contacted the company to have work done in my kitchen. Jack came out to my home on two occasions. The first time he came out he did a consultation clearly explaining all the work which would need to be done. I was very impressed with his knowledge and found him extremely helpful. Since my insurance company did not give a fair estimate or send an adjuster jack advised me I needed to speak to my insurance company and have someone come out to assess the damage. Fast forward my insurance company would not send an adjuster until I submitted a written estimate to them. I then contacted Jack again to have him write an estimate. Jack came back out( 8/4/2013) to take measurements and etc. He told me he would email the estimate in about a week. I never received the written estimate. About 3 weeks after I didn't receive the estimate I called the office twice( first week in september). Both times I called I left a detailed message explaining I had not received the estimate. It is now October...I never received a return phone call nor estimate. I would have appreciated a return phone call advising if not able to do the work instead of my efforts of reaching out being ignored. I find it totally rude and unprofessional. Other than that he seemed to be a really nice guy in which I was looking forward to work with.

Jack arrived when he said he would. He and his helpers are very respectful and do their best to assure that my day goes as planned. They go out of their way to make the renovation as easy as possible. The toilet was always installed at the end of the day since this is our only bathroom. Jack goes out of his way to insure that we would be happy with the final outcome. I made some changes along the way and he was fine with that. He kept me informed of everything that would be done on a daily basis. The final result is beautiful and we are so happy that we have already scheduled to have more work done. We waited a long time to get Jack to our house because he is so busy but it was worth the wait.

When I first called Jack I was told that I would have to wait about two months for him to come out and give me an estimate. I waited and he arrived when he was supposed to and went over everything that needed to be done in the house. He told me I would have my estimates in a few days and they arrived by email on schedule. We scheduled for the work to be done and again I waited as he is very busy. On the scheduled date Jack arrived with helpers and they started working. At the beginning of each work day I was informed of what would be done and at the end I was informed of the next days work. Everyone was always very respectful and went out of their way to make the work go smoothly and not interfere with my daily routine. The final cost was the original amount that was agreed upon.

I purchased a wood fireplace insert from ACE. Then purchased and prepared the liner necessary for the installation on an existing brick chimney. During installation the serviceman shows me picture of "cracked" cement around top of chimney. Recommends extra work for $300 dollars to seal the crack. Found later this summer during power washing of house that there is no crack. Installation took less than 3 hours, including the sealing, and springs to hold faceplate of insert were not used.

We were extremely happy with all the work done by Jack. Jack and his team arrived on the targeted date and started by relocating the refrigerator and electric range and installing the required dedicated outlets for each. He then refinished the ceiling and removed the existing cabinetry. He completed the wiring for new outlets, installed the flooring, installed the cabinets and did final trim work. It is noted that Jack planned each step of the kitchen remodel to minimize any negative impact on us. For instance, the required outlets were in place before the refrigerator and range were moved resulting in no down time for either. The flooring and cabinetry on the range side of the kitchen was then completed leaving the sink side of the kitchen usable. Jack then removed the sink side cabinetry, installed the plumbing for the slightly relocated sink and dishwasher, finished the flooring, and installed the lower cabinets. The lower cabinets were installed first to allow the granite people to complete the countertop template and get the granite countertop fabrication started. The upper cabinets were then installed and all the trim work was completed. At the end of each day all equipment was removed and the kitchen was cleaned. Jack and his team were extremely professional and did excellent work.

I wanted the hidden hinges for the newly painted cabinets so he devised a work around...it seemed like a good idea at first, however, it didn't look as nice when it was done. Not finished and polished anyways. Also, the lights he installed are not the same type, they are different. It's not too bad since you can't really see the lights because they are behind a molding. Again, it didn't have a "finished" look.

I didnt go, I never had the courtesy of a return phone call, event to tell me that they werent interested.

Was on time and very professional. Would us again for any odd jobs around the hous.e

Contacted office and we played phone tag in getting together to have someone come out to give us an estimate. Since our last phone message no one has ever contacted us again. Since we did not hear from them we went with another firm. We do not want to give them a bad rating since they never came out but would have appreciated a return call or an estimate at least.
