he showed up for an estimate and then went silent. did not return calls, requests for follow up. Would not use him

Jack came and gave me a price estimate promptly. He started the next week and was finished in 5 days. My basement is divided into 3 rooms, my man-cave/play room (more of the latter now) approximately 275 sq. ft., a 3/4 bathroom/laundry room approximately 95 sq. ft., and a utility room. The work was professional and he cleaned up nicely. Jack is a good guy and does great work.

Jack is a very friendly guy. He gave me numerous suggestions about how to proceed with some of the renovations I want to get done in the future and we have plans to get together again so he can help me more. He completed every thing I wanted him to do (even with the cat in the way) and cleaned up after himself. He even hauled away the old microwave so I wouldn't have to worry about the trash men taking it. I'm very pleased with the work that was done and look forward to working with Jack on more projects in the future.

He worked around my work schedule. Jack did a professional job. It was perfect....the brick backsplash and brick wall required skill in not only cutting but of placement as to create a warm wonderful visual. He did it all!!! Jack is trustworthy. I left my house key with him as there were times I could not be home. Project was completed in a timely manner. And I am really enjoying the renovation? I would highly recommend Jack and his team and would definitely call him for any future renovations.

Jack is one of the most pleasant, fair and respectful contractors I've worked with in many, many years. He will work with you, both your schedule and your budget. You'll know up front what the costs are and if there's an unexpected expense, Jack takes the time to explain why the additional work/costs are needed. If you're not pleased with the work, he does everything to make things better. He's very reliable but if he's running late or can't keep an appointment, either he or Sharon will call you so you're not sitting around waiting for him. At this point I have no complaints about Jack and would highly recommend Jack Joyce, Jack of All Trades Handyman Services. I like Sharon, his scheduler, too!:-)

Waited four hours for call back and when they called back I was told the business owner does not do work in rental properties, only if you live in the house. When I asked what difference that makes the lady responded with "I don't know, that is what the owner has told her to say." Waste of time!

Hen arrived when expected and had me walk him through the various projects. He performed them right then and there and everything's fine.

He was professional/on time to do the job. His services were great and I would hire him again.

They were so polite and comforting in the email they sent to me I think 12 hours after I had contacted them. Its nice to know that companies cam still imply actual feelings in an email!

Jack of All Trades is the first person I call. He can do it all. Jack ascertains whatever the problems are and goes about quickly repairing whatever needs to be done. He is the first person I call when I have an issue with our own home or our rental property.

Everything went well. Jack is very easy to work with, does great work and is neat.

All went well except the vanity we provided from Solidwoodcabinets ended up being 8 weeks late. Jack worked with us to accomadate this and was able to complete the job shortly after the vanity became available. Jack offered valuable advice and suggestions to make the bathroom look great.

From time of estimate to actual work getting done, took 4 months for this small project. Had to be rescheduled 4 different times, even after being promised the third rescheduling would be final. Granted the first few was due to the horrible winter weather and then all jobs getting pushed back, so I understood and tried to be flexible. But still, don't make a promise you can't keep. Had to put my foot down and explain I have wedding guests arriving soon and I can't afford another delay. Was told "Oh, I wasn't aware you were in a rush"...well that's why I called 4 months ago. When Jack and his nephew finally came, the work was done efficiently and they were both very friendly. I'm happy with the results and thrilled I both bathrooms up and running again. I love supporting Mom & Pop businesses and would use them again for projects that aren't necessarily time-sensitive.

The provider was prompt, courteous and professional.

He was responsive when I called, punctual for quote, and very knowledgeable

called on 6/14/14, left a message, never received a call back.

Glen came over and was very friendly, taking his time to look at damage on chimney. We already had gotten another estimate for a ridiculous amount of money from another company. After he was done he asked whether the chimney had been swept, which it supposedly had (by the other company) and he reached in and showed me a handful of soot. He did not bad mouth the other company however, in fact he was surprised because he was familiar with them. A couple of days later he emailed me an estimate which was so much less than the previous one that I agreed immediately. His office later contacted me to say that they had made a typo and had actually over charged and would be sending a new estimate. (how's that for honesty). They sent a new one which was about 1,000 less and I gratefully accepted. Glen came when he was supposed to, did the work but forgot one part. He just came out again to see what he forgot and I assume that I will be hearing from him again soon. So far, we are very happy with what he has done and have already asked that he do some Masonry repair on our steps..

Brilliant! From the first time I met Jack I knew that he was the man for the job. He and his nephews were wonderful. He offered me sound advice throughout. I was able to choose all my own fixtures and fittings and he was happy to work with them no matter how tricky some of my choices may have been. Having only one bathroom in the house he was able to keep it functional throughout the project, something I really appreciated, and at the end of each workday everything was left as clean and perfect as i could ever have hoped for. I did have to wait a while for the project to begin as he is certainly in demand and once started it may have taken slightly longer then planned but I will say it was definitely worth waiting for!! I look forward to starting my next project and will definitely be calling on Jack of All Trades.

Great. Jack is honest, friendly, knowledgeable and true to his estimate. I'm definitely going to call him again for other jobs around the house. His wife is always polite and professional. She handles all the scheduling. You can definitely trust that Jack will do the job without robbing you blind. Great guy!

It was good. I have been using him for any work. He was good, very professional, and very honest. I would recommend him.

Jack is terrific. First of all he is honest. He gave us a very fair estimate for our work and kept to it, despite working on a few additional smaller things for us. He also was realistic about what he should do and what we (with no experience) could really do ourselves. Even told us how to do things, such as fix a hinge or a leaky shower head. And he was affordable. I have the utmost respect for the man, he is a good guy, and will always give him a glowing recommendation to anyone that will listen. He's now on my speed dial.

OK, but required return trip after weather caused some wood separation. Return trip required several months, partly due to weather. Work still shows shoddy finish..

Good quality. Price was good. Did it all in about 6 hours.

Since our estimate never came by email or US mail we were very frustrated with this business.
