It took them a while to find the time for such a small project. The guys arrived on time, and did the job without any hesitation or hassle. Very clean and professional work. I am sure I will use their services again!

They are always very responsive and are very professional and friendly. They even reduced the price on service for us when it took them less time than estimated to finish a job. They have earned themselves our family as a lifetime loyal customer.

On time for estimate and work. very nice guys. Did the work quickly and professionally. The only minor glitch is they did not take the old light fixtures with them and it is a pain for residential owners to dispose of such fixtures and bulbs. The work was performed for the estimated price.

I have used this company for many years and have been very pleased. They are very thorough, knowledgeable, reliable, and prompt. They may be a little on the pricey side but they complete very good work. They are also clean and easy to work with. I highly recommend them to others.

They showed up on time, worked pleasantly and efficiently, they were particularly careful to preserved the refinished floor and all the work went smoothly. At the end of the work I offered to pay them but I was told that I would be billed. They cleaned up and left the house as neat as when they found it. I was very very pleased.

The electricians were punctual, arriving at 7:30 am just as they promised. The three of them did the work in about an hour and a half and were professional. They answered questions and provided advice. I would use them again.

Al and his team were very professional and punctual, the work they did was excellent and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. While the price was not cheap, I believe you get what you pay for.

Really great guys - Josh was very pleasant and worked efficiently. I was very happy that they were able to respond to the problem so quickly and find a good solution. I will definitely keep them on my preferred service providers list. I did not have a chance to shop around, but feel it was a fair enough price.

He was fine but a little more expensive and I did not think he was very interested in doing the work.

02/06/2012 - UPDATE!! We had the first batch of work performed on 2/2/2012, and they arrived in the morning, coming extra early, 6:30am, so that my wife and i could get to work - did a quick walk-through and then got to work - my wife and I came home that day and everything was completed: (3) recessed lights replacing old hanging fixtures, 3 way switches rewired, timer switches installed, foyer fixture hung, outside lighting installed and (2) outlets installed where no outlets existed. The work was excellent. There was no sign that they made any repairs - clean, neat and everything works! I am very impressed by price and performance and will be calling them back to do further repairs, and recommending them to my friends and neighbors. Feels good to find a professional you can trust! Initial review: Allan was very professional, friendly and helpful over the phone. Always returned calls promptly. When he came out, he was just as friendly and professional, listened to my concerns, took his time, walked around my house, made helpful suggestions and gave us ideas. Best of all, he provided a quote right then and there by jotting things down in his notebook, and verbally providing a very reasonable quote for all the work that was done. I prioritized the list and contacted him the next day to schedule the work - he was able to start the next week (today) and arrived bright and early in the morning to begin. I will post again once the work is complete, but based on my experience so far, I expect a great job! Estimate was free - having over 1,000 in work performed today, with another 1,500 or so at a later point if all goes well.

I highly recommend S&R. Owner Al Smalls was prompt, professional and accommodating. He showed up on time to give me a free and very reasonable estimate for the work. He also offered good ideas and advice for lighting placement. Al came with a colleague early in the morning and completed the work--installing a dozen light fixtures and a number of switches--in 2.5 hours. I was impressed with the speed and the quality. I plan to have them back to install a new light fixture and do some wiring for me.

Al explained the options we had for how and where to set up the new lights and switch, explained why one option was the easiest and least intrusive in terms of wiring, then did just what he said they would. We found them to be very reasonably priced and professional. We're already planning on hiring them again to do some more work for us.

They came on time and performed the work very neatly and professionally. I was also told by serveral other electrical contractors that their price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Sometimes it's hard to find an electrician to do small jobs but they didn't have a problem with it. They were flexible working around my schedule and came to my house early on a Saturday morning.

What a great experience! Very responsive and great explanations from the first call when I asked for help, through the last bit of work. Alternatives were explained to me, and suggestions for efficiency were made. I was told exactly what I needed to do (select new fixtures), and then Al and Josh showed up right on time, with everything that was needed to install the fixtures and make the repairs. The work was excellent, and they were professional, polite and quick.

This company I used more than 20 years ago. Same person heads it with son. Very reliable and you do not have to wait as long as other electricians. You pay more, but the work is very good and reliable.

I'm very happy with it. He was prompt, polite. He didn't make a mess. He cleaned up after himself.

The owner's last name is small but he is very tall and only hires tall people to work with him. Everyone that works for him is at least 6 feet. They all work great. We always call them for any electrical problems we might have. They have never failed us or botched any work.

I ALWAYS USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL. THEY QUICKLY SOLVED ALL OUR PROBLEMS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.
