Accent Appliance

The first time we called him he came although much later than promised. He determined that we needed a new motherboard and said he would return with it the next morning. Never came back, never called, and never returned our calls. Ultimately had someone else come and replace it. A few months later there was another problem with the freezer. My wife felt bad for the guy and we called him again. He responded and came to the house, again hours later than he promised. He determined what was wrong but he could not fix it. He did not charge us. He's a super nice guy and knows refrigerators inside and out. Just not very prompt or reliable in our experience..

We had a very bizarre experience with this company. We scheduled an appointment to repair our refrigerator; the service call price was very reasonable, and the conversation was pleasant. We had however canceled the appointment (with plenty of notice) believing we should just buy a new one, even discussed the possibility of buying one from him. In the end, we decided to have the company come and look at the fridge and made an appointment for two days later, when his schedule was good. He never showed. We called and left a message and he never returned our call or ever responded again. We even told him we were waiting at the house in case something came up and he was running late or could do it the next day. Maybe he was cranky over our rescheduling but I can say we were always pleasant, gave enough notice and worked within his availability. It was so odd to have him not show up and never call back to explain or reschedule. He had seemed very knowledgeable and helpful and we were really disappointed not to have him service the fridge.

I called Mike and was thrilled to hear that he would come to fix the dryer that same day. He arrived on time as promised, quickly diagnosed the problem and began fixing it immediately. Mike was courteous, knowledgeable, professional and thorough. The dryer was up and running quickly and works better than it has in years! I highly recommend Accent Appliance.

Mike demonstrated highly professional behavior and responsiveness while scheduling the time. I was impressed by his troubleshooting of the existing drain pump first. That was more work for him but a necessary step to not waste my money in new part, if that was not needed.
