I'm not sure of the date. They were professional but seemed to not do a good job. They were there long enough but one of the men was on the phone and not applying himself to our furniture cleaning. The floors did not feel clean and later, when we did spill something (a week later) the rag was dirty. Spots were still in the carpet. We found another firm that did a fantastic job at a much lower cost...and ALL the spots came out.

My goodness, if I only knew! I am so terribly sorry this happened and that you are not pleased. We give free reservices to anyone who does not feel they received the best work that could possibly be done and after that, if you or anyone are still not pleased for any reason, we refund your money, no hassles. All we ask is a chance to make it right. This report about our work appears a long time later, over a year after we did our work. We are clearly well beyond being able to make it right. In fact, given the length of time we don’t even remember all the details about this project. I do know we had a skilled technician and the owner, my husband of the company on the job. I do remember trying to follow up as we always do, and I did not get the chance to speak with you. I personally like to make sure you and my clients are happy with both the cleaning & satisfied with the service, in fact super happy even. I am clearly at a disadvantage if I don’t get a return call. If I had know about your concerns I would have done everything I could to make it right. All I ask is for the chance to do so. Just tell us so we can help. There was no need to hire another cleaner, we would have made it sparkle for you gladly and for free. We always do. There was most likely a contributing factor which caused spots to reappear or come back, which we could not have known about before we cleaned, but upon recleaning, we would have known exactly what needed to be done. That happens sometimes with fabric. Clothes cleaning shops have the advantage of being able to see their finished product once it is dry, we do not and they have to retouch items very frequently, only they get to do it before the client sees the spot. We rarely have to return and touch anything, but it happens and we beg for people's understanding when it does. You said another cleaner was cheaper. We cannot offer the best equipment, cleaning methods, cleaning agents, the best trained technicians, plus take all the time we need to clean excellently and still offer the cheapest price. We understand that some people want a cheap cleaning and we refer them to companies that do that kind of thing, but that is not what we do. Further, we cleaned a large project, this cleaner had an easier task to touch things up, probably a a lot less that was a lot cleaner to begin with. That makes a huge difference in the price of the cleaning, so it is an unfair comparison. If we do touch up cleaning behind someone else we would focus on the problem areas and charge a lot less too. And it likely that the other cleaner would have charged more money when the entire carpet is cleaned. One thing that is inexcusable is that we did have to call the technician a lot, who is the owner of the company. We were and are indeed sorry.. If I remember right, that was the day last year where we had a truck break down and I had to call the Chris (the owner, and my husband) several times to reroute our schedule so that we could still get to all of our other clients on time that day. We try never to do that, but in this case, there was nothing I could do and had to call the tech while he was working. Originally we had our 1 tech assigned to the job, and directed Chris to join Johnny to complete the job successfully. This is a unique example of a confluence of a lot of bad things happening. Spots happen to the best of us, which I take full responsibility for. It is not an exact science, and that is why we do free touch ups. I would have gladly fixed if I knew something was wrong. If you or any client is ever less than happy, please let me know, so that I can make it better. Even though it's a year later, I would still be willing to come clean an item for free (so we can prove we really do excellent work) but I recall you have moved out of the area. I regret this incident and wish there was something I could do about it. Hopefully this brings some clarity & understanding. Best Wendy

Wendy's estimate was spot on. The workers showed up when they said they would. There were some stubborn wear spots in the dining area which required extra work. The job was completed on a timely basis, the cost was as estimated and the worn areas were restored as best they could. I have used Classic twice before for my own house and have been very pleased with the work and service each time.

As for a newly purchased property, of course it is always a "dance" to get carpet to respond & improve, because who know what it was subjected to or how it was maintained. I am sure they rolled their sleeves up to attack the spots & soiling as best as possible. But "wear" is a different situation. Sounds like after removing the dirt the carpet appearance was acceptable. We work really hard to assure our clients have peace of mind and feel good about moving into the house. Chris showed up on time, was professional and cordial, knew his business and explained what he was going to do before he did it. He protected a new stair case and railings with tarps and we had no damage. The carpet cleaning was terrific. It HONESTLY looks like we have new carpets and the few significant stains which we had are no longer visible. Classic charged exactly what they estimated would be the cost on the telephone and gave us a discount for mentioning Angie's List. The icing on the cake was when Chris Fenske (owner of Classic) left our home he went to his truck and returned with roses for my wife ("new client"). Nice touch. Would definitely recommend Classic Services whom I would not have known about had I not looked on Angie's List.

Very impressed with this company and the quality of their work. Scheduler was easy to work with and professional. The service technician was professional. He was about 20 minutes late, but this was understandable due to a torrential downpour that day. Actually, I was very happy that he was willing to perform the work considering the adverse weather conditions. I was also glad that they were able to come on relatively short notice. Very nice results. They worked hard to remove stains, used state of the art equipment, and walked me through before starting to account for special requirements and to set expectations. Price was competitive and reflected the quality of their work. I would use them again.

They charged so much more than I've ever paid before. They didn't even clean 2 rooms and they were there for 2 hours. I did like that he came on time, he was cordial, courteous, and clean. He used an electronic device to measure the room. He supplied an itemized list of how much you would pay per room. But, he did not move the furniture or put anything on blocks to prevent the wood from getting wet. He made me fill out the Angies List review form in front of him so I felt pressured to give him good grades.

From the start great care is taken to focus the cleaning plan for your needs and preferences. We hand pick each task, room by room so we achieve your goal. I am sorry we felt short on your behalf. I agree that we did not move things or apply protectors. The cleaning plan was not set up nor priced to move things. Kathy, our estimator did the initial pricing consult with you and asked several questions as she selected the pricing of our services. She would assign the pricing based on your answers, including how to handle moving of your belongings. I am sorry if she misread or misguided you and priced the program to work around your furniture. When we don’t move things, we pass that savings along to you. Our tech would have reviewed the phone quote, and touched on how it was set up, and should he had seen or heard a difference he should have fine tuned our plan so it matches your expectation precisely. Whenever we are asked to move furniture, protective blocks & tabs are always used when we reset the items we move. Since we did not move anything, this was not necessary. Instead we carefully cleaned up to your belongings not compromising the carpet or your belongings. We are sorry you expected differently. Of course we gladly would have made that adjustment before we left if you questioned it. And or course, we are happy to return & clean under the items for you. Customarily I personally call to follow up with the cleaning, which I attempted but did not get you. Tues our tech returned to leave the free gift we take great pleasure in leaving our customers when done. However, the tech did not like their appearance, so he returned the following day to deliver them fresh to you, leaving them for you with our card. I hope you got them. In reviewing the pricing I see our tech revised your program. It came out to be less than the total plan we prescribed for you over the phone. In fact, the cleaning was revised as well, after you opted out of the protectant. If for any reason you were still uncomfortable with our price or the services selected we would have gladly revised it to your liking. Still if it was not a good fit for you, graciously, we would have left your home prior to setting up, parting in a friendly and respectful manner. As always it is a free estimate, and we don’t want any customer doing something they are uncomfortable with. But beyond the disconnect described above, what truly upsets us the most is your having felt pressured into completing a report form. It is NOT EVER our policy to insist that our clients complete a form. Our techs do hand a form out for clients to complete, should they so desire, but the request is completely and entirely at the customer’s pleasure. We offer to mail it, should that make it easier. Some folks are willing to participate and are happy to participate, and especially so when it is a quick deed they can do & get it off their “to do list” by having a little help. Sharing a testimonial, referring a friend or completing a report is a very personal thing, again at the pleasure of the client. Certainly if someone decides to participate when, and if, is up to them. Some are eager and do so right away. We respect some folks make want to wait a bit, some may want to do so privately afterward, others may prefer filing a report on line, and others are too busy life or may not want to participate at all. We get that and don’t want to impose on anyone, in any way. We apologize that you were offended, felt pressured or were uncomfortable. And this matter is not being taken lightly. Upon inquiry, I believe it is our tech’s words and manner which came across wrong to you. He informed me that he asked if you would be willing to complete the form, and that he would appreciate it if you wouldn’t mind. He did not mean to make you feel that you had to oblige. He certainly understands some folks prefer to pass or take their time, and he confirmed some times is the case. Secondly I reviewed how each of our techs (my husband being one of them) handles this question. I am satisfied with their answers. It is not our company practice to force or coerce anyone to participate. Although maybe a poor choice in words and mannerism, our tech was emphatic that it was not his express intention to make you feel pressured or uncomfortable. So to conclude, my husband & I as owners are satisfied that this was an isolated circumstance, and by reviewing some gentle alternatives, we are satisfied our tech will make sure our other customers are at ease with his request from here forward. In closing, we appreciate and ask for the chance to make it right for you. I will be in touch to see how we can proceed. OMG ... week of 9/10 my older sheltie had a terrible bout of gastroenteritis [had to be hospitalized the vomiting was so bad] and the carpets really took a hit.. The owner Chris came first to "assess" the damage and determine a treatment plan. He shared his assessment and treament plan and provided a quote for the services. I scheduled the technician (Johnny) who came out and treated the couch and cleaned the carpet. Johnny was very professional. He took his time ensuring a quality cleaning. He explained the process and what would happen after the cleaning took place. There was no guarantee they would be able to get rid of the stain on the couch completely given the source of the stains and the material the couch was made of. I'm pleased to say they did a good job removing the stain. On the carpet they treated several stains (urine, vomit, etc). While there was some browning of the stain areas after initial treament (which is normal as the residue from the urine, vomit, etc comes up to the surface), Johnny came back out to treat the browning stains and got rid of them completely. Wendy (owner) was very responsive through the process and wanted to ensure I was pleased with the end result. Thank you Wendy, Chris and Johnny for your help and for your great customer service! I will be using them again!

Couldn't have been better. Our closing was delayed and another provider was not able to accommodate despite trying hard so had to call Classic Services at last minute. They were able to accommodate and did the job quickly and well. Absolutely no complaints here. Would use them again.

Called to discuss. Person on the phone was pleasant and helpful and was able to estimate the cost and answer all my questions plus some I didn't even know I had. Scheduled the appointment. Johnny showed up on time, was pleasant and courteous. I explained exactly what areas I needed done and asked questions regarding a pet urine stain in my living room. He explained the process to try to remove the odor and answered any other questions I had at the time. He went to work first on the pet stain since that was going to take extra time and proceeded to clean all requested areas. He was there several hours and when he was done I could not have been more pleased. The pet odor was gone from the living room carpet and the other rooms looked wonderful. My husband and I had been discussing having the carpets replaced since they were looking so bad after 13 years but at this point, absolutely not necessary. They don't look new but they do look good. Best carpet cleaning service I have used. When the previous service I used was done and the carpets were dry, could not tell that had even been cleaned. I would absolutely use Classic Services again.

Searched for carpet cleaners on Angie' List and selected Classic Services. Spoke with Wendy on the phone and she went over every room in detail. I provided the measurements, we discussed what needed to be moved and she told me they had a special product for allergies. I had emailed her too and she was very responsive. We scheduled it for a day & time that worked best for us with no problems. Johnny arrived on time and we discussed the job in detail in each room and he measured. The price was actually lower than the quote and they gave us the Angie's List discount too. Johnny was very professional and nice. He used protective items to make sure the entry door would not have any damage and the corners in the hallway. He took his time to do the job right while not taking longer than the estimated time quoted. He told us that the carpet is very wet and provided us with booties then brought us in a dozen roses. It was a great experience from the intial contact speaking with Wendy to the end result when Johnny gave us the flowers. Wendy then followed us the next day to verify we were satisfied. Highly recommend this company to everyone.

I sent e-mails to 3 different carpet cleaning companies on a Tuesday & Classic responded almost immediately. I set up an appointment for an estimate only but was told that, since I needed the job done within the week, that they could provide the estimate and do the work the same time if I agreed on the cost. After Johnnie took a examined and measured the areas to be cleaned, he did state that the carpet was in good condition, but that some of the stains of unknown origin may not come up completely. It turns out that my parents must have used a cleaner that caused the carpet to fade in some spots. The carpet came out acceptable but not perfect due to the nature of some of the stains that had set in for years. Also, I was not aware that Classic cleans tile and grout, so I had Johnnie include a price to have the bathroom and kitchen wall and floor tiles cleaned. The end result was fabulous! It would have taken my wife and me hours to scrub out the dirt from the grout. My whole project was complete in less than 2 hours. This was my parent's house and due to their advanced age, hadn't had a thorough cleaning in years. This was well worth the cost. We would definitely recommend Classic Services.

Of course cleaning corrects soiling issues, which were addressed, but with every inspection we must be candid when we discover damages beyond cleaning repair. The owner arrived on time do an estimate. Classic Services was available immediately to clean our new home before movers arrived. The owner seemed to know his stufff and the technician seemed to be trained professionals in their field. They went our of their way to explain what they were doing, what stains on our carpet were lightened but couldn't be removed, and what types of stains would be removable. They also left pamphlets on cleaning and carpet care. Classic Services was not the cheapest carpet cleaners we called, but they did provide the Angie's List offer. As an added bonus, they gave us a dozen red roses that perked up our empty home. Overall, they did a very good job. The only negative is that the machine left track marks in my carpet. They were suppose to call me and send someone over to evaluate the marks but they did not follow up.

I will certainly reconnect about the wand stroke marks. I cheerfully explained that they usually settle down with vacuuming & overall use, and that a little time was what was needed. My follow up comments got separated from my follow up action file, so please expect a call so we get our tech out there to see it as promised. Thanks As instructed I am furthering the follow up, to be added. I am pleased to again work with the member to address his concerns following our initial cleaning, and to give explanation and recommendations that resolve or offer suggestions that will help him with his carpet. As promised our tech returned, toured his home & looked at what his concerns were. Cheerfully he set about to reclean the carpet. And myself and husband, as owners, also visited to inspect our reclean efforts and to assure that the member would receive the additional service to his satisfaction as well. It was during this visit, and our background in doing textile inspections for the mills that we revealed both the cause of the member's concern, and a workable solution. Our original reason for cleaning was to clean up the carpet before they moved into the home. His underlying concern was the streaks he saw after the cleaning. From his description I believed that the streak marks would relax with vacuuming, which he attempted. When I returned I noted the carpet to be a textured Saxony carpet, which was performing properly. It is not trackless, so every time he vacuumed the wheel marks on his tank vac would leave marks, compounding the appearance. He was right, they did not go away, nor will they. I inspected his vacuum, demonstrated the wand & groomer and how it leaves the carpet. After drying, and returning the next day the carpet was left precisely the way it should be left, cleaned & groomed. In closing, the carpet was performing to expectation. The cleaning was proper and the end product was exactly as it should be. To buffer any marks, lines, footprints etc, we suggested a horse hair type grooming brush (which we are ordering for him). This type of brush buffers marks & lines, and is used in our industry on various fabrics. Though tedious, this grooming technique should calm down the brush marks and make the appearance more acceptable. In summation, the member has a better understanding of the carpet he has in his newly purchased home, and its inherent behavior. He received additional cleaning at no charge, as we promise in our guarantee. He was satisfied, after thanking us for our efforts. He did receive the additional service, care & concern to bring acceptance, understanding & proper closure to this matter, and therefore I believe he is now more pleased with his entire service experience.

It was a good experience. The rugs look much, much better and we all feel better living with clean rugs instead of stained rugs.
Description of Work: The rugs on the first floor of my mother-in-law's townhouse were stained very badly and the rugs are at least 15 years old and when Classic Services was done it looked 100% better. They give you little slippers to wear until the rugs dry (about 24 hours) and give very clear instructions on what to do and how to keep your carpets clean in the future. Very happy with this service.

Classic Services cleaned my mother's condo carpet a month or so ago. Not only did they move the furniture to thoroughly clean all areas, they were able to remove stains that other carpet companies had left behind. When I needed carpet cleaned in my apartment, I didn't hesitate to contact them again. It was not a big job, but they completed it in a timely and professional manner.You can't beat their prices!
