The inspecter wrote that "the heating system has not been maintained and is not operable." This was an assumption on the inspector's part; he had no knowledge of our bi-annual inspection and servicing of the unit, proof of which I sent to him. When I turned the heater on subsequent to the inspection, it started up and worked perfecty. I asked the inspector's company to come back at no cost and turn the heater on, and certify that it works. They indicated that they would not re-do the inspection at their cost
