Ed Martino arrived on time, was very personable, and got right to work. He explained his findings whenever we asked, took lots of pictures, and provided an extremely detailed report of his findings in less than 24 hours (the inspection took place midweek). He even brought snacks! =D Thanks Ed!

Ed met me at my new home and was actually 15 minutes early. He arrived before I did and had started unpacking his gear. My agent had not arrived yet, so I didn't have access to the inside of the home. Ed started on the outside immediately. He was thorough and his report was detailed. It included close-up pictures of anything he found that needed to be repaired. He walked me through the problem areas that same day, even taking me up to the attic to show me the furnace. The full report was emailed to my home promptly. The beginning of the report included all the areas considered to be safety issues. It then went point by point through every area included on the home inspection. If nothing was found that was noted. The radon test was complete 2 days later and that was also promptly emailed to me. Two weeks later, I had another question regarding an issue with the insulation. Ed emailed me the following day with a response that answered all my questions. I was extremely happy with First Choice Property Inspection and would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Ed Martino was a true professional from the first contact. He was wonderful to deal with, arrived early on the date of the inspection and even brought snacks for us. He began his inspection on the outside of the property documenting the basic information for the house and before proceeding inside the house, he put on protective shoe covers to protect the floors. Ed spent the time necessary to thoroughly evaluate all of the systems of the home - he even let me shadow him, taking the time to explain issues that came up and answer my questions along the way. Ed mentioned that he would be unable to test the A/C units (4 in all) on the original inspection appointment because the overnight temperature was too cold to safely operate them. He did however offer to come back to collect his Radon sampling system later in the week and at the end of the day so that the units would have had time to warm up so that he could complete the evaluation for them. His reports was very detailed and well documented with pictures that illustrated all of the issues that he noted. The home inspection and radon reports were received in a very timely manner. He and his report were very informative. Thank you Ed for a GREAT experience.

Ed was FANTASTIC. He arrived before I did and was already inspecting the A/C unit outside. He was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable with the process. His inspection was very thorough. He even brought snacks for us. He showed me how things worked and explained what needed to be repaired and why. He had the best price of all the home inspectors I called so I was a little worried that he might not do such a thorough job but he did a great job and I would recommend him to my friends, family and co-workers. He made the whole process quite enjoyable and I would definitely use him again.

Ed was terrific to work with. My realtor recommended him, and when I originally reached out to him, he was on vacation. Even on vacation he was still responsive and he set up time to come inspect our house right when he returned from vacation. He also gave us the name of another inspector if we didn't want to wait that long, but we were fine waiting. On the day of our inspection, he actually got to the house early, before we did and when we arrived he was already up on the roof looking at everything. He was extremely thorough, he took his time reviewing everything and he was very patient explaining everything to us and answering our questions. The inspection report he provided was very detailed including pictures of any of the issues he found. After the sellers agreed to make the repairs that we had requested, he came back to the house prior to closing to make sure that all of the items that the sellers agreed to were completed. I was very happy with the service that Ed provided and would defintely recommend him.

The time for the inspection was 9am, when my husband and I got there Ed was there already looking around the perimeter of the house. He was extremely friendly and professional. We stayed in the house while he did the inspection, and anything that he found was a concern or questionable he explained to us in detail and made sure we fully understood. He gave us an overall education on the inspection process and the house appliances and how they are supposed to work. Also, he had a great thing where he would put in the serial numbers to the appliances and send them to the company to see if there was any recall on it. He checked the house from top to bottom- not missing any crack,any gaps or any concerns. He answered all of our questions, and made us feel so comfortable and safe purchasing the home we are purchasing. Thanks Ed! We will recommend you to all of our friends!

I needed an inspection of a 4 year old property I am planning to purchase as a primary residence. I've had home inspections done before, and was never very impressed with the process and those who performed the inspection. This time, I was determined to find the right individual for the job and did extensive research to that end. The appointment was scheduled for 1 PM. I arrived at the property at 12:40 PM to find Ed already on site, preparing to go on the roof. As I approached, he introduced himself and told me that he had already walked around the home and was going on the roof to check out some possible issues he saw. I was concerned about the roof already, so I was happy that he was already planning to check out exactly what I had already seen. Throughout the next 3 hours, he checked every window, outlet, fixture, surface, all electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc. He explained everything to me, and was very easy to work with. At the end of the inspection, I was more than satisfied with the work he had done and the price he charged for it.

Ed was amazing to work with overall! He was great and I have nothing negative to say about the service or about him.
