Carpet Repairs by Ken Discount

Ken repaired a job (large master bedroom) that was botched by the original installer. He knew exactly what had been done wrong, knew exactly how to fix it, brought all the needed tools and supplies, and did the job all in one day, which was a huge benefit for us. It's refreshing when someone simply does what needs to be done, efficiently and quickly. Highly recommend!

Installation was perfect except the cleanup was far from. He got the hard part right but left a mess behind. Very nice to work with and would use him again.

Ken was able to stop by on the weekend on his day off to take a look at our damage. He was there about an hour and a half later than he said he would be. He said he would be able to fix it and told us he would call during the week to schedule an appointment. If they're bad at anything at this place, it's keeping a schedule. I ended up calling Ken myself towards the end of the day because I didn't get a call. He ended up calling me back in the evening after I had expected an earlier call. We set up a time later the week. I had to take some time off work to get down there to meet him in time. I got there a little early and ended up waiting nearly two hours after the agreed on time for him to show up. I even waited a full hour after he called and said he would be there in half an hour. It's really a shame that the punctuality was so poor because I thought the work they did was excellent. They finished the job quickly and without any additional damage. The carpet looks perfect except for the fact that it is not as worn (not Ken's fault!). He might post photos of his job on the internet, which I don't mind, but if you do, tell him ahead of time because he may do so without asking you. He loves dogs and is a really nice guy, so be prepared to talk to him for a bit or for him to hang out with your dogs!! In summary, I would have no complaints if not for the punctuality issues.

I had some areas of carpet torn up by my dog in 5 areas.We had some problems getting a date and time, due to illness and such. When he came the repair took about an hour and a half. You can't tell there was ever any damage. Great job!

He did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him for any type of repair work or carpet instillation. He is also a very nice and friendly person and that really matters to me.

It was excellent. The job was done professionally. No mess and the carpet looked great. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.
