This provider was unable to obtain the color flooring that I wanted and recommended another that, though is nice, almost exactly matches my cabinets. The flooring was put in too tightly in places and is showing signs that it is cheap flooring. Extra flooring was not left behind and when I called about it I was told there was none left.

It went very well. My home is an older house, throughout which there are wood floors that were in TERRIBLE shape. As a result of having purchased an Angie's List Big Deal, Jason previously did resurfacing in one room (the Big Deal) and commercial cleaning in another room. Jason cautioned me to expect minimal results with only the cleaning process, but the results were visible and I was so pleased that I immediately made arrangements to have him do this in all of the other rooms, which was today (1/20/14). He knocked on my door at the time scheduled (to the minute!). As was done on the previous visit, Jason was extremely accommodating regarding my inability to completely remove furniture from each room, working with me to move pieces from one side of the room to the other, then he moved everyone back into place. Admittedly, the floors still don't look good (they are more than 60 years old and have not been maintained), but they look much better and it was well worth the cost (very reasonable, too). Jason is extremely professional and I definitely recommend his services.

"Fabulous." I purchased the resurfacing via an Angie's List Big Deal. Because I used the deal for a room that had very badly damaged wood flooring and because I was not getting a full refinishing, I was aware that the process would only help minimally, but there was noticeable improvement in some areas. While he was here, I asked Jason about what could be done to clean 62 years of ground-in dirt on the floor of my living room, which I use for teaching dance and don't want to sacrifice the smoothness of the surface that enables students (and me) to easily dance turns/spins. He suggest a commercial cleaning and, despite his warning me not to expect too much, I am pleasantly surprised with the results and - to my eyes - the improvement is dramatic. I have already scheduled him to come back to clean the wood floors in the remaining rooms. Although scheduling is problematic because there are no evening or weekend appointments, I was able to make arrangements for dates that are federal holidays, when I am am not at work. Jason went "above and beyond" by moving the furniture out of the room where the resurfacing was done (I still have to figure out how to get it back) and, throughout, was patient, professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend Jason and Fabulous Floors.

Jason was easy to deal with and very helpful throughout the whole process. He kept me informed about the progress and completion time. His team was courteous and professional and prompt. They were extremely neat and clean. The semi dustless way equipment they used left no residue behind and their prep work made certain no dust went in rooms that were not being refinished. The quality of their work was excellent. We are very happy with the color of the wood after the refinishing and the finish on the wood. Jason was informative regarding choices for finishes, floor care during and after the curing time. Their price was competitive and fair and I will recommend them to anyone that needs hardwood floors refinished.

It was fine. We liked it. We asked them to do some extra work that was above and beyond. He was willing to talk to us and work with us. It was a nice guy. It was a very fair price and the quality was excellent.

I was looking for an inexpensive improvement to a 40+ year old oak floor which had been badly neglected. The floor had lost any trace of luster and richness it may have once held, appearing dull and almost grayish in tone. I had been dreaming for years of having the floor sanded down, re-stained and resealed but now was not the right time for that amount of work, inconvenience, and expense. That was just one of those "someday" projects. But this Angie's Special seemed to be a happy medium since the room's floor is 200 square feet just as the criteria required, was relatively light on the budget and I figured some improvement would be better than none. Was I ever in for a surprise! Jason, the owner of Fabulous Floors, laid down a nice coat of poly after a thorough light sanding and vacuuming and the floor began to really pop. My floor was so starved for moisture it just soaked up the poly. We could have left it at that, since the floor was much improved and that was what the deal called for --- light sanding and one coat poly on 200 square feet of hardwood floor. For an additional charge I had Jay put down a second coat and suddenly these were the floors I always wanted without anywhere near the amount of work or expense or time it would have taken to strip, sand, re-stain and then seal. The job brought out an incredible rich brown color with beautiful wood grain patterns under a lustrous sheen that is absolutely breathtaking--- the floor actually looks wet. The job turned out way better than I ever could have imagined. It's been several weeks and I am still thrilled every time I enter this room. The only regret both Jason and I had --- we didn't take before and after pictures. I will be recommending Fabulous Floors to anyone and everyone I hear is looking to have their floors improved.

Spoke and met with Jason for estimate. The floors had brown and black paint in some rooms, now it's totally gone. The floors came out great. His price was slightly higher than some other estimates but they use premium water based polyurethane. They applied 4 coats in one day. The next day I was walking on the floors and the smell was surprisingly not that bad. Overall great job, well worth the price. Great communication throughout the process. Will use again.

I emailed this company for an estimate for a 'fix' job and was contacted literally that evening. The owner of the company, Jason, came the next day for an estimate. He was so amazing and thorough! He contacted his sander and they decide on several plans to fix a job that had gone terribly wrong by a previous company. They were available to start the job within 2 weeks and came as promised. They also completed the job within the promised time frame, ZERO mess, GORGEOUS work and even BETTER price! I really cant say enough about this company and the service they provided. I will be the first to tell you I am all about perfection and want my home to resemble the same! These guys did an amazing job and I would absolutely use them again a million times over! I love a company with good prices, but outstanding work and customer service sells me every time!!

Returned my call and told me alternatives as to what I could do to preserve my hardwood floors without having them refinished. My hardwood floors are charcoal color and I did not want to lose the color but refinishing would do that and I was also told that they would have to do the whole house since all the floors run together and I could not be on the floors for approx. a week. That was not feasible so Megan told me what I could do to replace the boards that were damaged.

Fabulous Floors came in and did a great job with our floors, which were in pretty bad shape to begin with. The guys were very personable and professional. I had to work and could not be home when they were there so I left a key hidden for them. I am always a little concerned doing that, but they were very trustworthy. They took great care of the house, hung plastic to keep my kitchen clean, and left no mess when they were finished. I appreciated a lot of the little things the guys did to fix the floor, that I am not sure most other companies would have taken the time to do. Overall very happy with everything!

Overall it went very well. He was very responsive, very professional, very thorough and the quality of the product was great. I think all that I have just said meeting all my experience I think it would be good for them to know that he was professional, responsive and a good quality and a reasonable price.

Fabulous Floors equals Fabulous Rip-Off. It was clear that during the process that the re-surfacing process might be a complete failure; within days, the urethane began to peel. The rooms that were refinished were stained with a color that was not even close to the adjoining floors; of course I was blamed for picking the wrong color, which I did not. The workers that did the actual refinishing, none of whom spoke english, treated my house like it was their own. The entire house had been freshly painted and cleaned; the workers, however, decided to use my six year old daughter's bathroom to relieve themselves in all manners. I pointed this out and was met with angered looks and unknown words. During the process cans of stain were placed on the freshly painted windowsills, leaving dark brown circles, I discovered additional circles in closets. The actual resurfacing was also a joke. The "process" barely removes old wax, which is why the urethane began to peel after a few days; other rooms took a month. When I looked closely, after Jason left and was paid, I could see that dirt, hair and paint chips were encased in the urethane he had just applied. I discussed the problems with Jason and he offered to credit me the cost of resurfacing the floors to having the floors completely refinished. I explained that no way in h*** would I let his crew in my house. He continued to blame me and said the previous owner must have used the wrong type of cleaner on the floors and that is why the urethane did not stick. I had no idea how to respond to such and asinine statement; either he knows how to do this process and what will work or he should get out of the business. I asked for a refund for the five out of six floors that were peeling. He has denied this request.

We had Fabulous Floors come out and give us an estimate on hardwood refinishing; we were getting almost all of our downstairs, the stairs and upstairs hallway done. Jason arrived on time and was very friendly. His estimate was competitively priced. In comparison to other estimates we received, we felt his estimate really lacked a lot of important information, ie. potential repairs due to water damage, replacement of shoe molding, options for urethane sheens, etc. In the end, we chose a contractor who addressed all of these issues during his estimate, and made us feel more confident about the whole process.

We called around to a few companies to get estimates to fix our wood floors. Jason from Fabulous Floors was the first company to call us back and was very friendly and knowledgeable on the phone. He came out for an estimate right on time, and was very professional. We ended up getting 1 other quote (2 other companies never even showed up or responded). We felt most comfortable with Fabulous Floors even though their prices were a little higher. On the day of the job, Jason and his 2 guys showed up 10 min early and got right to work. They were very clean and considerate and made sure to cover all of my kitchen cabinets, counters, etc with plastic. When they got done our floors looked fantastic! There was hardly any smell or dust just as they had told us in the beginning. I have to admit I was apprehensive when Jason told us they could finish our floors in a single day, but he was right and the convenience to me was amazing. My neighbors had their house done and they had to leave for 3 days, and complained of the bad odor for months afterwards! Overall a great job and highly recommended! Pros: -Finished in one day -Hardly any smell or dust -Very professional and always on time -Quality of work was superb Cons: -Price could always be lower, but using this company and finishing in one day was well worth every penny.

We called Fabulous Floors to come out, take a look at our floors, and provide an estimate. When Jason arrived he was very professional, knowledgeable, and showed up on time. He was also very honest about what our floors did and did not need. The quote we got was competitive so we decided to move forward. On the day of the job Jason arrived on time and did all of the work himself. Once the floors were done, we couldn't believe how great they came out! They were actually better than expected from what Jason had explained beforehand. We also felt very confident that the materials that Fabulous Floors uses would outlast what some of the other companies use. Overall, was a great experience and would highly recommend.

Jason, was on time and very reasonably priced. He was great to do business with, I am so happy with the final results and my floors look brand new.
