About a year after the initial repair, in the spring, I turned the air conditioning on and once again it was not cooling. I called Almar Aire and told them about the problem. I said it was possible that a new leak had appeared but I would like them to look at it again. Since they had apparently not fixed the problem last year, I felt I should not be charged the $90.00 service charge just for coming to my house but I would pay the cost of any necessary repairs. The office told me the owner would get back to me. No one responded so I called them again and was told the message had been given to the owner. After waiting another day I contacted a different company who used an electronic leak detector to find the real leak inside the unit in a coil unit. This may have been the problem from the very beginning since the unit is still working fine 13 months after this second repair.
Description of Work: Central Air Conditioning unit (two years old) was not cooling my home. Service technician did come out on a weekend and found low refrigerant. He repaired the leak (?) and recharged the system. At this point the unit was working.

They were able to come out within a couple of days. He did not have the part that he needed, so he came back the next day while we were at work to fix it. We did not have to rearrange our schedules to be home so we could let him in. When he came about the heater he couldn't find anything wrong with it so he called his boss just to make sure there wasn't anything he was missing. He was very patient with us.
Description of Work: We used our home warranty, so we just payed Almar 85 dollars to fix a part to the air conditioner. He came back a second time to check the furnace when it was making noises.
