THE KITCHEN KRAFTSMAN

We needed a lot of work done, and didn't know where to start. We needed to demo the existing kitchen and dining room to make one large open concept kitchen with a large center island. This was important to us, because this is the hub of our family. With 3 kids it needed to be functional and roomy enough to accommodate large groups since we love to entertain. We called Jimmy the owner to come and measure the space and worked with Apryl, the designer. We were so impressed with the designs that she came up with and the patience she had when I made changes. Despite the township taking too long with permits, everything ran smoothly and working with their subcontractors was a breeze. I wish everything were this simple! You wont be disappointed. In fact, we are reaching out to them to help us design another part of our kitchen !!

All went well and done on time. Jim the owner was dependable and the work was good quality. All of our questions were answered along the way. The design help received was excellent from where we could look at a counter tops to what color paint would work best with the cabinets and what choice of hardware works best. We appreciated all the help and the communication from Jim and the office staff. We just love the new Kitchen and all came together well.

We couldn't be happier!!! We have a bit of a hectic schedule, which did not cause any problems for Jimmy and his team. They were able to accommodate us with no problem. They started on the day they said would, came on time, or early. They b put us in touch with Tom Quinn who does demolition and tiling, he also does excellent work and also arrives at the appointed time. The work was finished within the time period we agreed on. Everyone was a professional. The best, for me, was Apryl the kitchen designer, who understood immediately what I wanted and put the whole design together. I would never have been able to get the look I wanted in such a short time frame, without her. I am truly grateful for her expertise and kindness.

I couldn't be happier with how the kitchen turned out! The work was done professionally, they always arrived earlier than expected, and cleaned up at the end of every day. The contractor, Tom Quinn, suggested a change to our plans for steps, and it looks great. The support staff, especially Apryl and Penny, were helpful and very courteous, and they were all very responsive whenever we called.

I can't say enough about the fine job done by the Kitchen Kraftsman. From start to finish, the project, which was a complete kitchen renovation involving raising the ceiling, removing walls, and installing a new kitchen, was effortless. Apryl handled the design, and was a pleasure to work with, has great ideas, and makes the process easy. She has impeccable taste. Their general contractor was outstanding, TQ Construction. They handled the project as if it was their own home, with exceptional attention to detail. Would recommend the Kitchen Kraftsman highly, and have already done so to my friends and neighbors. You won't be disappointed!!

The services was great! Jimmy came to do the repair a few days after I called. The repair was done quickly and at no cost to me. Before he left, he asked if I needed any other repairs! I think that's great customer service. I was very pleased with the results.

The entire process took a little over two weeks and we couldn't be happier. The old kitchen was demolished in less than a day and from there we had lighting, flooring, electrical, plumbing, cabinets, appliances and backsplash installed. It went quite well, Jimmy, the owner was a pleasure to work with, as was the entire cast and crew.

From the time I entered their showroom and spoke with Apryl my experience with Kitchen Kraftsman not only met my expectations but surpassed them. I loved the computer imagery and their willingness to meet your needs. The work is done in the most timely and efficient way. I also worked with Tom Quinn who they suggested as my contractor who I was equally impressed by. There was no dumpster on my driveway. The debris is hauled away immediately. They kept me within my budget . I highly recommend Kitchen Kraftsman.

Right from the beginning, the whole staff was wonderful to work with. Apryl, the designer, is the best. She made sure every request was accommodated and provided beautiful hard copies of the layouts for us. Jimmy and Julie, the owners, are really hands on with their business and really go out of their way to make you happy! They partner with R&S Marble and Granite, you can take a sample cabinet with you up to the granite yard and they help you match your slab and backsplash! SO EASY We went with the Wellborn Forest Cabinetry collection, they come with a lifetime warranty. Usually, I'm pretty skeptical about lifetime warranties, but in this case...its TRUE! A week or so after the granite installed we noticed some bleaching on the faux sink cabinet. I called Apryl, she ordered the replacement and Jimmy himself came to install it...no money...no.."oh, that's not covered under your lifetime warranty"...very simple...he changed out the cabinets in 5 min! You won't be disappointed in their work

Jim and his team are fantastic. Quality work, professionally delivered. The pressure was on in 2011 as we requested to have the job completed in time for the holiday season. This team stepped to the plate and hit it out of the park! They were here early everyday until the job was completed. They far surpassed my expectations and I would HIGHLY recommended them to friends and family! A BIG thank you to Jim for helping us out 6 years later.

Jimmy and his design team were fantastic! We have a small kitchen so the layout needed to stay the same and they made it work. We also wanted to add additional lighting, in which, they scheduled as well. We also had a small window in order to redo our kitchen and they made it work. With demo starting on a Friday, they had the kitchen assembled and ready to use by the following Saturday.

Excellent service. Some molding needed to be adjusted for the new AC unit in our kitchen. The work was done with out issue and it looks great ! Our kitchen was remodeled by the Kitchen Kraftsman in 2012 and we always receive compliments on how great it turned out. Excellent company choice for kitchen remodeling.

Everything went well,but what a pain not having a kitchen for 2 weeks.

We recently completed replacing our kitchen cabinets and countertop using the Kitchen Kraftsman of Matawan. It turned out to be an excellent experience!!! Working with Jim and Apryl was wonderful. Both are very knowledgeable people and accommodating. Jim did the cabinet installation and it was was great. The work was professional and beautifully done. He came when he said he would, and kept us apprised of the timeline for all work to be done. The products, the workmanship, the professionalism of all involved, including every worker who came to our house, was beyond our expectations. The prices were fair and there were no surprises. Our kitchen was completed about 2 1/2 years ago. It has held up wonderfully,and I love to cook! Any problems i listed originally was not due to Jimmy or April, but were for the subcontractors. Jimmy actually came in a prompt and courteous manner in response to my request for a few small repairs (adjustment and some scratches). I was very pleased with his service. The plans were great and made the best use of space for our kitchen. In all I would recommend Jimmy and April for kitchens.

We are very satisfied with our kitchen remodeling done by Kitchen Kraftsman. They accommodated all our suggestions and were easily approachable. We had a tight deadline to work with and they were very professional and completed all our work within schedule. They also installed all our kitchen appliances - Over the range microwave, range and dishwasher and did a clean job. The work area was left very clean every day. Since the installation in October of 2012, we had two appliances that needed to be replaced. When we replaced the stove, the new one did not fit the depth of the counter the same way as the old one. Unfortunately, we didn't find out until the delivery was made. Jimmy came out and immediately identified a solution and within a week he had installed a piece of granite (that perfectly matched our counter top) to make our kitchen look perfect once again! He did this for only the cost of the piece of granite. Now it is time for our refrigerator to be changed. Of course, the new one is slightly taller. I spoke to Apryl a couple of days ago and explained my problem and she assured me that they would be able to help. Jim was out this morning and was able to remove a piece of trim to allow the new piece to fit properly. He took great care in making sure that after removing the piece that it looked perfect! This service was done free of charge. Jim took the time to make sure everything else with our cabinets was good (which it is still perfect after three and a half years). It is rare these days to be completely satisfied with the work that a contractor performs in your home but I must say, I could not be more pleased with The Kitchen Kraftsman and very impressed with their willingness to help even 3 1/2 years after the job was completed. I would recommend The Kitchen Kraftsman for their outstanding design, the exceptional price for very high quality cabinets, their follow through in completing the installation as promised, the respect that they had for my home (the care they took during the installation) and finally for their amazing after the sale service.

All went well and job is beautiful. The installation took a little longer than anticipated. A few little issues and they were taken care of in a timely manner.

He came when he said he would, and kept us apprised of the timeline for all work to be done. We also worked with their recommended contractor, Dean, of Dean's Home Improvements, whose work was just as beautiful. The products, the workmanship, the professionalism of all involved, including every worker who came to our house, was beyond our expectations. The prices were fair and there were no surprises. Thank you Kitchen Kraftsman and Dean's Home Improvements, for giving us the kitchen of our dreams! We absolutely recommend both companies, without reservation.

April, the designer was amazing. She is creative, knowledgeable, and logical. She also is able to control problems.As with most contractors, if you hold back $ until the project is completed, you have the best ability to have things completed to your satisfaction. We did not ( our friends did) and we found that was the way to get things completed. For the most part we were very satisfied with the job, but i must say that the subcontractors Kitchen Craftsman recommended to do peripheral work ( painting, finishing) was less than desireable. In fact they damaged my wood floors moving appliances! Overall, the kitchen came out well. April holds it all together, and is very professional. The value was good.
