This company is very professional. Whenever I call, they pick-up the phone most of the time and if not then they call back within 20-30 minutes. Owner Steve is very nice guy and very understanding. The person who came to our house, his name was Craig. Very professional and courageous. He wore clean shoe cover while entering the house to protect carpet and did all the misc tasks very well. He also thought me, how to some basic stuff and mentioned that you do those stuff yourself. Which was I think very nice of him. I highly recommend Mr. Handyman for any kind of stuff you need to do in your house.

I called Mr. Handyman on Aug 31 & spoke with Donna who was very pleasant, professional & helpful. Made an appointment for Tuesday Sept 3 at a flexible time since technician had an 8 am appointment already. When he was done Donna called me to let me know he was on his way & gave me an approximate time of his arrival. Craig arrived on time and explained paperwork which required my signature and went straight to work. There was no guessing on what I'd be paying as prices were listed on paperwork according to how much time was spent on finishing job. He was so nice, professional and knowledgeable. He made sure when he was putting together the furniture that there was no way my dog Daisy would end up getting hurt (she loves people & has to be wherever they are) thereby closing bedroom door & working nonstop. He put both pieces together even making them sturdier so they would hold up better. He cleaned up & tied up the boxes as recycling was next day for me. He even hung up 2 big pictures for me. If you find other jobs that need to be done while he is completing original task just tell him & he'll do it. Normally I would be doing these things but since I have a breathing problem can no longer do the things I used to. I would definitely use Mr. Handyman again and would definitely ask for Craig again. Would definitely recommend their services. Well worth it.

Stephen Boehler, the owner, came out and assessed what needed to get done on a Wednesday. On Friday Craig came and fixed the fence and the siding. The corner posts for the siding turned out to be the wrong ones but they came back on Monday and fixed the corners. They maintained telephone contact with us stating when they would arrive, etc. Being that they do so many things, I am sure we will hire them again in the future.

They made two visits to complete the job. the second visit to put on another coat of spackle. He cleaned up very well and all debris was removed as I could not dispose of it myself. There was an additional fee of $25 for debris removal which is included in cost of service ($700). Any additional sanding I've done myself as I saw no reason for another visit.

I have used them before and they always come through. Professional, and efficient.

After searching for 2 years to find someone willing to do this small repair job I found Mr. Handyman on Angie's list. They confirmed the appointment the night before, arrived exactly on time. The technician was neat, professional and cleaned up completely. He even wore booties in the house! In all, I am pleased with the work and would definitely use them again.

They were great. I gave several of their cards to my neighbors.

I had two windows in one of my bedrooms that would not stay up when opened. Steve, the owner, arrived shortly after I had called for service. He was friendly, polite and very thorough in diagnosing the problem with the windows. He did the repair immediately in a short amount of time, and charged me a very reasonable fee. I should also mention that before he started the repair he placed shoe covers over his shoes to protect my floors & carpet from being soiled. He also cleaned up after the repair and placed all my furniture back in their original positions in the room. Steve was very honest and I would definitely use his services again for other projects.

They turned out to be terrific. They did what they said they would do. The work that they did was incredible. They came on time and were respectful of my time as well the place; they wore things over their shoes so that they won’t mess up. They cleaned up after themselves after the work was finished which was so lovely because there was nothing for me to do; it was from the top floor all the way. There was no problem or concerns. They were polite and very helpful. It was just lovely. They have now got a customer for live because I have really enjoyed the whole experience.

I noticed during a heavy rain storm that our gutters were overflowing in a couple of spots and that water was dripping between the house and gutter in the back of the house. I called Mr. Handyman and explained the problem. Steve and his staff were very professional from the start. An appointment was scheduled and confirmed at a later time. John the service tech showed up at the scheduled time and got right to work. He cleaned and secured the gutters at the price that was explained to me. I would definitely use them again.

Completed job while I was out of town, Steve the owner kept me updated on the progress as well as a follow up phone call and visit to make sure I was completely satisfied .

I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to every time I use Mr. Handyman. Okay, this is the second time but whatever. I got the same guy I got last time - a man named Rob. Rob is unstoppable. He is a machine. But a machine that is friendly, outgoing, punctual, quiet, and incredibly hard working. I kept adding things that I needed (IE: I forgot a load of stuff I had to have him do) and kept piling them on. What did Rob say? "Okay." To every single one. No questions asked. He just did them as I said them, and he put the BBQ together - which was really not an easy task, as it was a new Lynx one that must have weighed 180lbs OUTSIDE of the box. He did it all on his own. I asked him to fill a hole in the wall, last minute. He did it. I asked him to get a broken cord out of a PC monitor. He did it. I asked him if he'd take some extra boxes. He did it. I am an annoying, demanding customer who was working and doing other things while Rob was there, and Rob just worked. He worked and worked and worked and then handed me a bill that was so reasonable that i was actually kind of surprised and almost wanted to give him more because it seemed like it was worth more. When you work with Mr. Handyman of Monmouth you get great people. I worked with Donna to schedule service and she was awesome. I mean really, really awesome. I am bothersome and confusing on the phone and easily distracted and was able to get things done thanks to her. Quite literally I wouldn't be able to have done any of these things without these guys. It's really weird, writing this review, because most services like MRH always come along with some weird tough-to-understand fellow, generally mess up in some way, generally do something you don't like. Rob is about the most red-blooded American you've ever seen, and just...really nice. I never write nice reviews, because I am the most weirdly critical person in the world, but I love these guys. I love them. They're awesome. If you need something done in the home they are seriously the people to call. You are lucky to live in their coverage zone, because you'll get Rob, and Rob will get whatever needs done done.

I have to say from the first call that I made I was very impressed. Steve the owner answered the phone right away when I called. He was very nice and easy to talk to. I gave him the list of things that I needed done and he then explained how the charges would work and followed up with an e-mail so there were no surprises. John the technician arrived on time in a clearly marked van. He was professional and went about his business in a well organized manner. His work was meticulous and he thoroughly cleaned up after every job. He was pleasant and I hardly knew he was in the house. I would highly recommend this service. It"s nice to know, that as projects arise in the future, we've found a professional and reliable outfit to do business with.

They did a very good job of all the work. They showed up when they said they would show up. They did the work and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. They worked very efficiently and came prepared to get the things done. I had a great experience with them.

The handyman arrived promptly and worked diligently to complete all of his tasks even when I added a couple of extra tasks. I highly recommend this service.

I had an excellent experience with Mr. Handyman. I couldn't find a siding company to come and repair the fascia on my house because they all said the job was too small. The fascia on the side of my house was being pulled away by a power line which hadn't been properly secured to a rafter. I needed to have the electric company come out and disconnect the power line, and time the repairman to come out on the same day. Steve from Mr. Handyman asked me send some pictures of the job in advance. He confirmed that he could handle the job, and sent his partner Rob out the next day, exactly when he said he would, and repaired the fascia and re-secured the bolt which holds up the power line. From what I can see, the quality of the work seems good, and Rob was prompt and professional. I would definitely use Mr. Handyman again.

Called these guys in to hang some pictures. They were on time, they had everything they needed and went above and beyond the call of duty. Rob was the main guy. I didn't have the right bulb to replace a laundry room light. He did. He needed to hang up something above a fireplace. I had nothing, he had everything. We had some extra things to hang - he had everything he needed. He did it quickly, he checked the work with us. I had a load of trash for him to take too - a load of big boxes. His owner took it away for $40 extra. Finally, they said there was some siding coming off the house. They said they'd fix it. They did. No extra charge. It was about $217.00 for all of this, and they were in and out faster than I ever could expect. If you are looking at other people in the area, stop looking and hire these guys. They are superb, quick, fairly-priced, great guys who you would be remiss not to work with. I've worked with a lot of handymen in the past and none were even close to as good as these guys. I hate reviewing things and I've taken the time out to do this because it's just that good.

There was a slight snafu with the scheduling. The owner called me directly and took care of the problem. He made sure that everything was taken care of. He did what he promised and I was very pleased with the representative/service person that came to install my window treatments. The service representative was on time, knew what he was doing, explained everything to me and he used quality anchors, not the inferior ones that are supplied with the rods. He helped me with the correct placement of the brackets and also hung the draperies for me. He made adjustments and suggestions that were extremely helpful. All in all, I was very pleased with the results and would highly recommend "Mr. Handyman." The people in the office are pleasant and helpful.

Prompt response to inquiries. Was courteous and clear on services performed and service charges. Service technician arrived on time and was very professional.

Steve did an excellent job. I will definitely call them again when I need home repair services.
