Replaced an old hot water heater and took the old one out....had to cut up the old one...(small old cellar) ....Installed, cleaned up and went over all the different things we should know about the appliance... Cleaned up after the dismantling and made sure any water left behind was cleaned up. Great workers...Happy with their work.

Bob Muller was recommended to us by an electrician, whom we engaged to install an automatic stand-by (natural gas) generator. The two professionals made a great team for this major project. Bob discussed the plan for his portion of the work, obtained all the permits, and was knowledgeable and patient in answering all our questions, working around our complicated schedules. We have a sloping side yard where the generator was to sit, and Bob was creative in designing a way that the generator site was prepared, making a stable base for it. He and/or his assistant Tom worked behind the scenes and all was ready ahead of schedule for the generator installation. Bob assured that we passed the city's plumbing inspections as the job progressed. During Hurricane Sandy, we were the first to lose power. Our generator immediately turned on and stayed on throughout the entire 5 day ordeal, and all our power needs were met, fueled by natural gas, with no care from us other than checking the generator's oil level once a day. The generator automatically switched back to electric once power was restored in our neighborhood. We lost power again during the subsequent snowstorm, and sure enough, our generator was again "purring like a kitten." This investment was worth its weight in gold. If you decide for this type of generator, they are the team you want to install it! We found Bob and his assistant Tom to be courteous, competent, efficient, and working within timelines and budgets. We also hired them to do other work (see separate review). We will use them for all our plumbing needs in the future.

We met Bob Muller when planning our stand-by generator installation (see separate review). We engaged him for various plubming jobs (see list above). He and his assistant Tom were courteous, competent, flexible, efficient, and worked within timelines and budgets. We especially appreciated the repair of our Jacuzzi diverter: In the past, one plumber told us to figure out which part needed to be replaced, and another hinted that the broken part may need to be accessed from under the Jacuzzi (read and quot;big bucksand quot;). In contrast, Tom immediately knew what to do, and Bob hunted down the small required part - and the diverter was fixed in minutes! Regarding the sump pump, we already had on hand the replacement pump and its battery back up. Tom installed the system expertly and was patient in answering all our questions on its operation. Our experience with these plumbers was excellent, and we will used them for all our plubming needs in the future.

Over all everything went well as usual. We have always found Muller Plumbing and Heating to be very honest, skilled and professional.We always recommend Muller to whomever asks us for plumbing service

It took them two days to call us back and when they did, the estimate was incredibly high despite our history with them. Bob tried to sell us something we did not want because he had it in stock and then marked up the price 200%! We were shocked because every time we needed a repair, Tom was excellent and had done a fantastic job. Apparently, our nine year relationship and numerous referrals meant nothing to the owner, Bob. Sorry, Tom but we won't be calling your company again. Maybe you should start your own company!

We have had very good experiences with this company. They have always responded as soon as we called and gave prompt and excellent service with recommendations on how to extend the life of our appliances. Highly recommend.

John J Muller, the owner, has retired. They are a small company and have a website. They are fantastic most of the time. I really like them. I think they recently changed the office staff, and I have not used them. The man who works on our furnace and helps us with our plumbing issues is fantastic. He arrived when he said he would the last time. He took exactly 45 minutes and gave me an excellent price both on labor and the sump pump. He also told me exactly what I needed. He had to replace the whole thing. It was constantly running and the motor head was burning out. He gave me a list of options. They were a lot cheaper than I thought they would be.
