Called Jim with an issue with our furnace not igniting and the air handler kept on running. It was very easy and quick to make an appointment with a Jim. He is thorough and detailed. Very honest and was able to correctly diagnose the issue and replaced the limiter vs changing the entire control board. He saved us money and we appreciated his integrity.

We called Jim re: an urgent furnace/boiler issue. He came immediately and offered valuable advice. He explored several options for us including repair and replacement. He was upfront with any issues and problems. At end end, we have decided to repair it for now, but we may call Jim back for a replacement later on. He does not try to sell us any unnecessary products, brands, or services. Instead he focuses on what is best for us. One thing is that - he has the analytical mind that a lot other people in the profession do not have. With construction regarding issues, you need to be able to analyze the facts and circumstances of the situation, the causes and effects, and the order of doing things, etc. He possesses such a talent, which is rare (yes, after talking to so many so called professionals out there, I know one who has it and who doesn't.) Beware - Jim talks fast so pay close attention!

Our CO alarm had gone off so we had shut off our boiler. We called Jim who had helped us the boiler in our rental property. He came promptly and fixed the problem for us. He found two issues - our vent was cracked and there was also a leak in the boiler. He replaced the vent. He also fixed the leak in the boiler. He also serviced the boiler and completely cleaned everything. We had actually hired another company to do service last November. It seemed they hadn't done even half of what Jim did. We are pleased with his service

He was in and out in the blink of an eye and the heat was blasting! He quickly identified the problem and fixed it!

The first company we called suggested we replace it and gave us a huge quote. We decided to get 2 more quotes. Jim looked at the unit and said it just needs some parts replaced. He replaced the parts and the problem has been fixed. While he was there he also helped fix some other issues. We are very pleased with his service

Jim responded quickly to my call, and we scheduled an appointment for him to come out to provide me with an estimate based on what work needed to be done in my home. His price was reasonable, fit into my budget, and actually less than other quotes that I had received. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable. I decided to hire him. On the day that the job was to be done, Jim and his helper were punctual and they got right to work. They worked efficiently and within a couple of hours, my old baseboard heater was removed and the new one was installed. Jim was neat and when everything was completed, he explained and showed me what was done. It has been almost 2 months since Jim completed the work and everything is working wonderfully. I’m pleased that I came across Jim on Angie’s List and decided to hire him. I intend to hire him again to do some other upgrades that are needed in my old home. Called Jim. Responded immdly , came on time asked for a picture came with replacement motor just in case if mine is broken. Took my condensate motor from HVAC cleaned it and tested whether if it works. when its not working replaced with new one. Gave instructions to preventive maintenance on how and when to clean. He is my HVAC professional going forward.

It was a difficult job in a small work space....the job took longer then expected and the guys worked until it was done.... came back the next day to finish andclean up would definitely use them again. And highly recommend their service!!!!!

Jim shows up at the scheduled time. He gets the work done and cleans up afterward. He has a great personality and easy to talk to about your home.

We called several local HVAC companies on a Friday evening, not expecting that 1) anyone would answer and 2) they would be able to fix our AC that weekend. Luckily, Jim not only answered, but came over within the hour to take a look at the issue. Then he was able to replace the furnace the following morning! He and his helper had our AC up and running in record time. Jim seemed genuinely eager to get it done as fast as he could since he was concerned that I was so pregnant and experiencing the heat wave (100 degrees!!). My husband and I were pleased with the work done, and the price was very competitive. We will be using Jimbo's AC & Heating to replace our outside AC unit and new duct work this upcoming summer. highly recommend!

Jim was excellent! He got to the root of the issue whereas other contractors would have just used refrigerant as a band-aid to t the problem. I will definitely hire him again and have told others about him.

Jim came to house Saturday 12/31/16 found out furnace needed a part went out to purchase it, came back and replaced old part. and furnace came on without a problem. Along with the excellent work he kept the family laughing at his jokes. It was a pleasure to meet him and to have him come in with such a great disposition, I will hire him again and will definitely refer him to others. Thanks Jim and I will see you again. It went great! Jim is punctual, professional and super-efficient. Jim and team arrived just before scheduled time and got right to work. These guys worked straight through the day and completed the job in half the time. I am very happy with the quality of equipment installed, and the appearance of my new furnace and a/c - Jim and team took the time and care to tuck away unsightly or dangerous pipes and to ensure that I was completely satisfied - I would absolutely recommend Jim to anyone. With this crazy Jersey weather, we have used both the a/c and the furnace in the past week and our new equipment works great!

Jim is great! He has a lot of experience in this industry and he knows what he is doing. He is very good at troubleshooting the problem and fixing it with minimal expense. I will definitely call him again.

Jim is always very responsive. I have used him several times in the past. He always comes as scheduled, analyzes the issue and corrects the problem very efficiently. When A/C died during a heatwave , he was over the same day to fix. The first repairman I called wouldn't have been able to come over for 7 days. When A/C was leaking , again, he was over very quickly and corrected the problem. I highly recommend.

I messaged asking if it was possible to come today or if I could make an appointment, he responded within minutes saying he was finishing up a job and would be over soon. Jim is extremely personable and knowledgeable. He got right to work and got my unit running and cooling. He gave me some advice on repairs I'll need down the road since my unit is very old. I got a great price on parts and labor and it cost much less than I was expected for a same day call. highly recommend Jim and he is my new HVAC guy!
