Affordable Plumbing

This firm needs to get their act together from a customer relationship standpoint. It took 3 separate calls to finally reach someone that works for Affordable Plumbing. The reason for this is that they use an answering service which does a good job taking your information, but this does not translate to a callback to the customer. Finally on my final attempt I was told they would call me right back...which they finally did. Unfortunately, this did not help my cause. As this firm has unusual times they work. For example, only in the mornings during weekdays. Nothing can be booked in the afternoon. Also nothing on Saturdays in the summer, even if it is an emergency. To be fair, this firm was one of five firms in my area that had good ratings, hence I reached out to them. But honestly, business must be pretty good, and they are not eager for work to the point they turn it down when not convenient for them. My perspective is that you nurture and maintain strong relationships with your vendors and these guys failed in customer relations 101. I would work with any of the other firms that have high ratings but show more interest in their customers.

I have had a good experience with them. They took care of it quickly and it was done pretty quickly, I have not had a problem with it. They did it correctly. They were very polite. They were professional and knowledgeable about plumbing. They gave me advice about other things too in the house.

I called the company describing my emergency shower leak - no one answered and so I left a message and no one called me back.

Called Affordable and they got back to me right away. Father and son master plumbers arrived at the appointed time, found the leak, fixed the pipe and shower head and solved the problem. Would definitely hire them again.

The work was done professionally and they painted the expose new pipes. I don;t have any comparison basis for the price but thought it is fair for 1 hour of work for two people. They had to add a two foot section but needed to put in some effort to fit two ends of existing plumbing.

They are very easy to deal with and professional. Came on time and fully explained the work they would do. We had old values and external hose bib replaced. They also installed the new faucet and drain hookups. Work was very neat and parts used were good quality. Overall very pleased with their work.

replaced feed line and rubber gasket under toilet tank same day that I called. father and son came out together and did the job quickly and cleaned up. Very good family business. They seem trustworthy, personable, reliable. They told me if I had any problems to give them a quick call. I definitely would recommend them.

I called Affordable Plumbing and they returned my call immediately. Father and son were at my home within an hour of speaking to them on the phone. They gave me a price quote and we scheduled the work to be done. Two days later they were on time and completed all the work in a timely matter. I was very happy with their work and will be hiring them again in the future.

I was alerted to a slow leak in the 2nd floor plumbing when the dining room chandelier fell on the dining table. The sheet rock on the ceiling was damp and soft. I removed the damp section and found a very slow leak in a water pipe right up against the 2nd floor DWV. I called Affordable. They called back shortly and we arranged for them to come first thing in the morning. They arrived on time, found the problem and used a new technique for sweating joints that didn't require an open flame near the plastic DWV pipe. They also corrected a problem with the pipe support that may have contributed to the problem. This is the second time I have used Affordable and would certainly use them again.

These guys are great. Its a father and son. They call back immediately. The price they quote you is the price you pay. They are always on time and professional. I highly recommend Dan and Dan.

I called this plumber to finish up some rennovation work we had going on. Although he returned my call promptly and was nice on the phone, he told me they dont fix baseboard heat and I would be better off getting someone closer to me for the other work. Thought that was a bit odd since I'm only 15 minutes from his home office. Sounded like he just wasn't interested in the work...Waste of my time.

I had a leak in my 1st floor ceiling coming from the 2nd floor master bath. I called Dan and Dan (father and son) @ 8:30 AM. They called back 5 minutes later, said they were on the way to another job and would come to me right after. They were in my house before 11 AM. I showed them the situation. They guessed correctly where the leak was coming from. They had to cut a hole in my ceiling but it was only one and not to big to have to patch up later. They replaced the piece of leaking pipe and were done in less than 90 minutes. Both father and son were polite and friendly to talk to. I've used other services in the past but will use Affordable anytime going forward.

They did great work on the project from start to finish and I would recommend them to friends and relatives without reservation

Affordable plumbing returned our initial phone call immediately even though it was after business working hours. They arrived promptly the next day and were professional and courteous. They performed the job well and charged a reasonable price. They left the house clean. We were extremely satisfied with their service.

Called Affordable Plumbing for an estimate on a new hot water heater. They came two days later as promised and gave me a price on the spot...They had to order the hot water heater but picked it up that day. Had to cut the old one down so they could get it out of the cellar (quite a job) and then replaced it with the new one...They gave me sound advice, good service and were just two great guys to work with! My husband and I are happy customers that will use them again!

Overall our experience with Dan and his his son could not have gone any better. They responded quickly to our request for help and then did a professional job at a competitive price.

Dan and Dan were very professional, thorough and considerate. They spent a good deal of time assuring that the problem was addressed prior to leaving (until they were comfortable). They made it clear to me the if the problem did come back, they would be back to address at no charge. This was not necessary as the fix applied was effective...but appreciated the guarantee. Their pricing was very fair. I really felt comfortable with the entire experience and will be using Affordable Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs in the future. Quality in service is evident with these guys.

The work was done very professionally and took just over an hour. They were very courteous, took time to explain the work before and after the job.
