Affordable Plumbing

Dan and his son came on time and replaced the broken gate valve on my water heater. I also asked them to replace the gate valve on the main water shut off. Both were about 12 years old. They worked clean, neat, and efficiently. The cost was also competitive. I would call them again for any plumbing issues.

Called for an appointment for estimate. After I described the work I needed done. Stopper/cartridges put in 2 bathroom sinks. Upstairs bathroom is leaking into garage. I explained the work I needed done. I was told quite abruptly "Well we can't even get there for at least a week." Well with water leaking into my garage I don't think I can wait a week. It sounded like they didn't care or even want the business. I will not contact them again.

Father and Son were at my door within 20 minutes of my call. Both extremely nice and professional. Fully explained what they were gonna do and the 50/50 chance of it still being in the toilet and recoverable. Unfortunately, they didn't find the ring but they went as far as getting a flashlight to check around the bathroom in case it had bounced elsewhere. I truly appreciated the effort.

They tracked down a replacement valve which saved me considerable work and money. The other option would have been to remove tile and open the shower wall. They were great!

These guys are great! I have always been leery of plumbers being that it is one area I do not have a lot of experience. I was worried that whoever came would see a young home owner and his nice new kitchen with water coming through the ceiling and think "Jackpot". Quite the opposite. They were both informative and gave me the feel of a friend coming over to help with the problem. They were very apologetic for having to open up the ceiling, which I thought was nice considering that was the only option. These guys are awesome and saved the day and definitely saved me a bunch of money. I am sure with the amount of time they were here, another company would have been at least 30-50% more. Call them!

Called Dan's number at about 11 am. Dan called back at 11:30 am and was at my door at 12:30 pm. Amazing responsiveness. His son (also Dan) and he did the job first removing the existing "pipes" and then installing new material including drain pipe and sink basket, connection to the wall outlet and to the dish washer. They completed the work by 2 pm including clean-up. I am very satisfied with the whole experience and will use then again when I need plumbing work.

This is why we are on Angie's List to find people like Daniel. We left him a message and he called right back. They came just 30min later and fixed the issue. They even fixed another small issue with a dripping faucet free of charge. Very professional.

Tried to make an appointment but plumber could only come at either 9 or 10 AM for estimate. This was not convenient for us and I asked for an afternoon or evening time. Office was adamant that it could only be for times as stated. Seems totally inflexible and we decided not to use. Have never run into this before and it left a sour taste.

they came exacly the time they said,as soon as they looked at the leak they knew what had to be done,explained what had to be done and the price and then did the job...very professional .

Daniel and his son showed up for an estimate an hour after I placed the call and did the work right then. They were both very friendly and respectful and did a thorough and quick job. Id highly recommend them to anyone and will use them for any plumbing needs I have in the future.

I would definitely call Affordable Plumbing again! They called me right back when I left a message, and we set up an appointment for the next morning. They arrived on time (were even a little early). I asked them approx. how much it would cost for the job when I booked the appointment and they gave me an estimate based on what I told them, saying the actual cost depends on what they find. They didn't find any other issues so the final price was exactly what the estimate was, and they even replaced a rubber water feed tube with a stainless steel one as part of that cost. They did a professional job and cleaned everything up, leaving it spotless.

I have hired Affordable Plumbing many times, and they are the best and most honest plumbers I have ever dealt with. They did the plumbing for 2 bathroom renovations, installed sump pumps, ran a line for a new exterior water hose, repaired toilets, and most recently they installed the sliding shower bar (which entailed reworking the plumbing that was already installed for the water connection). They never oversell you, and they find ways to correct any underlying problems they find so that the job is always done right. I have been living for several years with many of the projects and repairs they have done for me, and everything looks and works great! Also worth noting: they respond very quickly to emergencies and they are VERY neat.

Toilet leaked when flushed. They came and completed the job quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent work and service.

We called Dan and his son to assist us with a leak we noticed on the ceiling of our kitchen. We used Affordable Plumbing before and they did a great job for us. Dan was able to figure out that the leak was probably coming from the Master Bedroom toilet above the kitchen and avoided having to saw into our kitchen ceiling. Once they took the toilet apart it was evident that this was the problem. They fixed the situation in a few hours and used only plumbing supply store parts to repair the toilet. After the toilet was fixed, they unclogged two sink drains in the same bathroom. We were very pleased with their work and will use them again. Michael

Very professional and friendly father and son master plumbers came..spent a long time making sure leak was fixed. First they redid the wax seal, but found the toilet needed an extra seal. Then they redid the guts of the toilet to stop it from running and leaking. They were very thorough. They responded quickly by phone, and came the next day after I called..in bad weather. I probably could have bought a new toilet for the pricing, but wanted to keep my Kohler that matched my bathroom fixtures. Good plumbers are expensive, but worth it.

Dan and his Dad did a great job. They were out to give me an estimate on some work (some of which was done above and other work I need to do in the future) and they were on time and very nice. I had tried to get other plumbers to come out and give me an estimate, but they either wanted to charge me for the estimate or they said they would give me a free estimate but would also need to charge me a "diagnostic fee." A week later we woke up to a clogged line that I could not clear. We called Dan and within 20 minutes, he and his Dad were at my house clearing the line and while they were there, I had them fix the leaky dishwasher shutoff. I then scheduled them to do the other work a couple of days later. They replaced my 1970's-era toilet with a new efficient one, put in a shutoff at the water main and replaced leaky/corroded elbow under the toilet. They were very pleasant, respectful and asked about additional items as they came across issues. I would definitely use them again and plan to do so with the remaining items I had them give me estimates for. I would definitely recommend them!

Have used Affordable for 18 years. Knew they were expensive. Father/son team. Came right away. Toilet had to be reset. Spent 3 hours. Son does work. He is professional, industrious, keeps area clean. Father seems knowledgeable, they work as a team..repairs seem to last...but...my error..did not get a quote first for broken pipe under kitchen sink and new faucet this occurrence. Casual conversation..father talks a lot..job only took 1/2 hour..most expensive plumbing job ever for me..I would have to check the last date of service think it was 2012, do not want to give you wrong date..

Left a message and my call was returned very promptly. Dan (son) suggested I buy a new faucet and then call him back to set up an appointment to have them install it. I did so and called back the Friday before Christmas. I was a little worried that I would not be able to get a hold of them or get an appointment due to the holidays. That was not the case. Dan returned my call promptly and we set up an appointment for Monday, 12/23, at 8am. Both Dans (father and son) showed up at my house before the 8am appointment. The work was done within 1 hour. They are nice, professional and neat. To be honest, I'm not sure how price compares with other plumbers but it was within the range I had expected. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I plan on using them again in the very near future!

My call to Dan was returned within an hour of placing the call. He agreed to meet with me the next morning at 8AM. He and his son arrived at the agreed upon time. After looking at the job, they provided me with an estimate which I accepted. The work was completed to my satisfaction. They did a nice job of cleaning up and they were very professional. I would use them again.

Went great. They were actually early. Did the job efficiently and as cleanly as possible (it was a messy job). Cleaned up when they were done. The guys were very nice. Warm and personable. We will use the again. Already have plans to call them back to fix a toilet and a leak under the sink.

Both gentlemen were professional and polite. The work was done quickly with no mess. However, the tool they used scratched the bottom of our toilet. I have tried to buff it out, polish it off, etc. Nothing works. The scratches are readily noticable and there are 20+ scratches. The worst part about these scratches are that they are metal in color - grey (which sticks out like a sore thumb against the white toilet). Essentially everytime the metal part of their snake was moved in and out, it scratched the toilet 'mouth' area. Such a shame, I liked these guys.
