Left a message with their answering service. The call was returned within 30 minutes. Made an appointment the next day at 7:45. Dan was on time, and resolved my problems completely and efficiently within two hours.

The guys got to the house quickly after I called for a backed up pipe on the second floor flooding my first floor. They were able to identify the problem quickly. Although they had to run out to get a snake long enough to reach the problem, they were still able to take care of the issue quickly. A little pricier than I had hoped, but they came right away for an emergency and didn't leave until the problem was fixed.

Very prompt with the responses. Came on time as scheduled. Even finished the work in under the time frame he estimated over the phone. Would highly recommend again.

Called Angie's List this morning got a plumber called and he came out the same day. There were no service charges and it was a father and son team. They were terrific very very helpful. they gave me hints on how to maintain the pipes in the winter. they told me all the hints I needed to know. All the things that I wondered about in the past and never asked about he answered. They were neat and clean. When he left it nicer then when he started out.

Placed a call to Affordable Plumbing and the owner returned the call within 5 minutes. Stated that they would be there within 30 minutes and sure enough they were here within 15 minutes. Family owned/operated, very knowledgeable. Diagnosed problem immediately and went to work solving the issue. 45 minutes later the job was complete, kitchen sink area cleaned up and clog gone! THANK YOU!

Free estimate, available to do the job within 2 days. I was not able to be home during the work but I felt very comfortable leaving Daniel and his son at my place alone for about 1/2 day. They completed the work promptly, job well done. They both have a great work ethics and take pride in their work. I would 100% recommend Affordable Plumbing to others.

Things did not go well at all. The father & son team seemed professional and friendly but they overcharged me and did not have the proper equipment to complete the job. They came to my home with a snake the same length as one that I purchased and tried to use. Upon failure to unclog my toilet these plumbers had to go rent another snake. When they returned they were finally able to unclog the toilet. But when it became clogged again 2 months later, they refused to return to check it out. Therefore, I had to hire another company who charged me half the amount that they charged. This company also guarantees their work. Do not use Affordable Plumbing as they are not affordable and do not stand behind their work.

I have been using this company since I first found them on Angie's list - they are absolutely the best. They have done big jobs for us, emergency jobs, and relatively small jobs like this most recent valve replacement. Whatever the job is, it is always done right the first time using high quality parts and equipment. They are honest and never oversell. If they say you need something done a certain way, that's the way it should be done. I know this because I once recommended them to a friend who was redoing a bathroom. She didn't hire them because she thought they were making the job bigger than it was, and in the end she had major problems because she didn't replace the plumbing that the Affordable Plumbing guys wanted to replace. I can't say enough good things about Affordable Plumbing - they are always there when you need them.

As others have mentioned, I think these guys do a great job. They are friendly and do the work right. They also suggest ways to save me money and are responsive. I own a house that is close to 100 years old, and they have been up to each unique challenge this house has presented. Will always call them if I need a plumber. I always get quick call backs from them. A+

They did a great job, however the price was over the top. They quoted the price expecting the job to take 3 hours and to have to move the fridge. But the total time spent on the job was less than an hour and they didn't have to move anything. Yes, they were there for longer just because they were talking, but the actual job took less than an hour. I felt the price should have been adjusted when the work was way less than expected,as a quote is just an estimation. I wasn't there to question it and my boyfriend was the one who paid it. After I heard the price I was shocked, especially from someone who has "affordable" in the name. I called them to question the price and my call was returned by his wife. I told her I'd like to speak to the person who did the job (the owner, her husband). She said she'd leave a message but no one got back to me. I finally called back over a week later and was able to get in touch with the owner. When I questioned the price, he said he did nothing wrong and my boyfriend could have rejected the quote. And he said they charge by the job, not by the hour. I told him that he gave the quote expecting a much harder job, and that it should have been adjusted when it turned out to be so much easier and half the time. Quotes are estimations. He didn't agree. But I bet if the job was much harder and took twice as long as expected, he would have adjusted the price accordingly. While we were happy with the job, $250 to install a water filter under a sink for less than an hour of work was way over the top. Also, not getting a call back was unprofessional. And being completely unwilling adjust the price after a valid complaint assures we will not be repeat customers.

Dan and Daniel, a father and son team, arrived the time they said they would. The job turned out to be bigger than I had thought. They had to cut sheet rock behind washer to get to the plumbing inside the wall, because of how the original was put in by my builder. They were very neat and precise, so that I could replace the piece they cut,, patch it, and repaint it. They were pretty fast considering what had to be done, and so nice to deal with. The price was also very fair, as I'm used to getting higher quotes because of the town I'm in. Everything part is new and updated. I would absolutely call them again and recommend them to any of my friends and family!! Very happy!

It worked out wonderful. It looks very nice and fits the kitchen well. We are very happy with their service. They are very polite and sociable.

When I saw another reviewer saying they found their plumber for life, I think I did as well. A father/son team, which is awesome to see. I called first thing in the morning and they were able to come right away pretty much. They said that they'd be there in the morning but with most contractors I assumed later on. But they showed up within the hour which was a pleasant surprise. They were both friendly and approachable. They described to me what they were going to do to unclog my drain pipes from my kitchen sink to the main line. Very efficient and got the job done. They also gave us a few tips to help alleviate future issues. The only slight negative was that I called the day before and left a message but didn't receive a call back. But it seems like they are not the only ones as I called and left messages with two other plumbers as well without any call backs. Glad I found this company and hopefully found my plumbers life.

They did a nice job. They had to pull down some wood boxing to get to the pipes and they tried to keep this to a minimum. I told them to leave it and we would put it back up when they were gone. They put a valve on and copper tubing to connect to the refrigerator. This is a father and son business and I have used them before for another job. They return calls promptly and arrive when they say they are going to arrive. They are professional, friendly, and leave the place cleaner than before they started. I have a lot of confidence in their work. I would definitely hire them again.

I have used Dan and his son before for different plumbing issues around our house. They are excellent, very professional and friendly. They go above and beyond what is asked of them. I called their service after noticing a leak in our ceiling. They responded right away to the call and actually came out the same day to fix it. Quite a bit of work was involved cutting through the ceiling and wall and replacing a portion of the pipe, it was also a little tricky but they handled it all without a complaint. I feel their prices are very fair for the amount of work and time they put in. They stay until everything is fixed to your satisfaction and always use drop cloths etc..thereby minimizing the mess. They take all trash away with them and do all the clean up. You just get a sense of honesty and that they really know what they are doing. I wish every contractor I used was this good!
