 + -1 moreIt went great. Very easy to work with and took care of everything they said they would. The installation was clean and looks great where they entered and exited the house with piping.
Description of Work: Used rpm to convert my hvac system to natural gas. Rpm was great, pseg not so much. Started the process back in February and Rob at rpm came out and did the survey. I got the email with the quote within a couple of days. I probably had 8 companies out for quotes and rpm wasnt the cheapest or the most expensive but very reasonable for what they offered. Rob answered all my questions through email very quickly. So after pseg took 6 months to run the gas line from the street to the house rpm room one day to run all the lines through my basement and came back 2 days later after the twp inspection and installed all the new equipment. They were very clean and professional.

Their pricing was very reasonable and they walked us through in making the best selection of ac unit for our house. The installer was professional. The owner was very hands on through the entire process. I would highly recommend them.

 + -1 moreThe condo above me had a frozen pipe that burst and sent water into my bedroom and around the heater and the water froze due to bitter cold temperatures and the heat went out. I realized this about 6pm after all the efforts to clean up the bedroom as much as possible. I live in Marlton and made several calls all advising me that no one could come out for 2 days. RPM called back and sent someone last night. The young man had been working on other locations who were ahead of me and called to apologize for being late but assured me he would get there and he did around 11pm and worked to replace a part and was amazed that the heater did kick back on. He had been working outside most of the night and my heater was also outside in the heating storage area off the porch. The RPM guy was cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable and I appreciated his coming because I was concerned at that point about my own pipes freezing with the sub-zero temperatures.  + -1 moreI selected Rpm based off of Angie's List recommendations. I have a second and third floor condo. The central air went, and I elected to replace the heating system and hot water heater too. I couldn't be happier with the work. They used Rheem HVAC products and a Bradford White hot water heater. They brought a plumber to swap out the hot water heater. It was all included in the quote from Rpm. Everything was done within 5 hours. They were very professional. The total bill was just shy of $5400.00 for everything. I would recommend RPM to family and friends without reservations.

 + -1 moreRpm Heating and Air Conditioning is the ones who installed the heating and air conditioning. He was in and out. He was very prompt and very knowledgeable. He blew out the thing, undid part of the casing around it to check the pan to make sure there wasn't a hole in it and he said if I had more problem with it then I could have a hole in it because the heater unit is over 20 years old. He told me exactly what that would cost and who to call because it wouldn't have been to come out, it would have been another part of the heating company. Luckily for us, it hasn't leaked since. He knew exactly what he was doing. I thought the price was a little much.
Description of Work: My air conditioner was leaking on to the floor and it was just a clogged drain stack so it was the condensation coming out.

On of our problems with our older system was that it was very very noisy, you could hear it throughout entire house and it was about 24 years old so it wasnt at all efficient. This new rheem unit is so unbelieveable quiet and efficient. I'm so thrilled with rpms work and I would without a doubt recommend them to my family and friends. They went above and beyond our expectations. They replaced all our old copper pipes without any extra charge. Priced extremely right. Our other quote for the same thing was over $6,000. Job well done, THANKYOU!

Description of Work: I wanted to replace my 18 years old gas furnace. I checked with about ten installers because it is a fairly expensive item. I got quotes from Bovio, McAllister, AAC, Friedrich, Marlton heating and Cooling (aka Home Depot Installation), Hutchinson, and RPM from Angies list as well as a few from Craigslist of South Jersey. Most of them quoted between $6000 and $11000 (Bovio). I was about to give up and wait another year. Then I called RPM heating of Marlton. The salesman Rob called and I told him that I was looking for a 100,000 Btu Rheem RGFG gas furnace. RGFG is Rheem's top of the line 96% modulating gas furnace. Next day he came to see the old furnace. He brought a written contract and quote with him for $3795 that included relocation of the thermostat, installation of a new Rheem communicating thermostat and a Rheem UV system I provided, installation of a 4" MERV 10 filter box, a new condensate pump with a line to the sump pump. I was very pleased with the quote. They installed the furnace four days later. Installation went smoothly with a very professional job. It was a picture perfect installation. They also removed eight feet of old duct and replaced it. I wanted them to put a metal duct to my humidifier which they did without additional charge even though I wanted to pay for that. They cleaned everything up. For additional $120 RPM/Rheem included an additional five year labor warranty. It was a splendid job. Couldn't ask for more.

 + -1 moreThree estimates were obtained and RPM was competitive so, based on the Angie List recommendations, we went with them. The technicians who did the installation were prompt, helpful and very respectful of our home. It has only been a week since the installation was completed, but so far so good. Based on the installation experience I would give RPM straight A ratings. Our experience with the office was less pleasant. My first call for an estimate was not returned, but eventually we got an appointment. The person doing the estimate did not provide much information about what he would recommend; he said he was very busy. Since we were going out of town for a couple of weeks we told him there was no rush on the estimate and told him when we would be back. There was no estimate waiting for us when we returned, but another phone call to the office got the estimate in a couple of days. A date for installation was set, at our request a few weeks in the future. When I called the phone number on the estimate to confirm the installation I got a very upset individual who insisted he could do nothing for me. It turns out the number was for their emergency services line, so this person really couldn't help us directly. When I explained why I had called that number he got someone who did confirm our installation. The ratings given are an average of the excellent installation experience and the not so good office experience.
Description of Work: We had two furnaces and one air conditioner replaced because they were showing signs of age.

 + -1 moreAs soon as the weather got really hot our 35 year old air conditioner gave up the ghost. We called RPM, who had a pleasant live person answering the phone who connected us immediately with one of their service people who took all our information and arranged for an immediate visit in order to give us an estimated cost of repair. After many questions from us via in person, phone and email we settled on replacing both our non-functioning central air conditioner and functioning electric heating system with a Rheem heat pump. RPM worked with us to get the best price, environmentally responsible equipment and a Seer rating, etc. that would qualify us for rebates from the government. We found them very knowledgeable. We particularly liked the fact we were given many equipment brands to choose from. The installers were at our home for 6 hours, sweating out the worst heat during the Fourth of July week. Even after a long day they cleaned up after themselves and left the area neater than they found it.
Description of Work: Replacement of both our home airconditioner and heating system.

Their service man was punctual, resolved the problem, checked system operation and departed with everything working.
Description of Work: Found Condensate line clogged. Cleared clogged line and tested with water. Checked overall operation of system and left with system running normal.

 + -1 moreFrom setting an appointment, to scheduling the installation, to actual installation, this company was very responsive. The price I paid was almost $3,000 less than that quoted by McCallister's. The price I listed was before the rebates of $1,900 that I'll get back from the State and the Fed, so my net price will be much less. RPM is going to do all the paperwork for me. The showed me how to maintain everything, how to set the thermostat, explained everything they installed. The took away all the waste of the old system, and swept up. Couldn't recommend them more highly. Funny story, but when I was shopping around for a company to install the new system, I settled on getting bids from two - RPM and McCallisters. When I talked to my parents about having to get a new HVAC system, they asked why I hadn't gotten the name of their heating and A/C provider because they had a really good company that had fair prices and great service. I asked them who, and they said "RPM". I said, "Great, because that's one of the two I'm getting quotes from." Angie's List agreed with Mom's list.
Description of Work: They replaced my furnace and air conditioning system with a 15 SEER YORK high efficiency system, including new programmable thermostat.
