Rich and team are fantastic; professional, efficient, and friendly. As a business owner, Rich is informative, responsive to calls, prompt on arrival, and speaks to your questions or concerns. His team had replaced my neighbors roof a few months ago and the owner was very happy. I was searching for roofing contractors, so I inquired about the install after less successful referrals. Job in Question: back-half of roof is dormer-style with a near-flat pitch that was starting to cause water problems during heavy rain. Rich was quick to assess the issue, explained where (and why) the roof was failing, and existing materials that were problematic. He suggested the best available option and understood that I wanted to phase-out other areas of roof-work. He informed me of the measures his crew takes to ensure successful product application and durability. The job was performed like a well-oiled machined and the cost was very reasonable. The whole process was organized and well-timed; the property was prepared for demo and left with a spotless clean-up. Rich was on site during set-up and follow-up of the installation. The replaced roof area is not visible from the ground, so he sent a series of photos taken by his team to show phases of work performed through completion. Solid warranty, outcome exceeded expectations. The company has numerous positive reviews, which indicates that they're also consistent. It goes without saying that I would highly recommend his services, and will definitely hire him again!

Called on a Friday afternoon because we had a leak around our dryer vent and he came out on Saturday morning to take care of it. Also had a section of our vinyl siding that had come loose in the wind. Not only did he take care of both, he sealed up the other vents, too as a preventive measure. The cost was more than reasonable and I would highly recommend him for any roofing/siding job. Not that I would look forward to another problem but I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if it happens.

I cannot say enough about Richard and his service. I initially called with some urgency and he came out immediately with his son to do a temporary repair. Thereafter, Richard sent his crew out promptly and early and completed work for a permanent repair. He also followed up to make sure work was satisfactory. I would highly recommend.

Rich and his experienced professional installers were great. Rich always acknowledged my concerns and expectations. The new roof was installed in one day and clean up was impeccable. Rich and crew protected all of my landscaping and even placed my patio furniture and platers out of work area and put everything back in place when the cleanup was finished. The roof looks great. Rich made the whole process from estimate through install perfect!

Richard discovered that the leak was not connected to our roof, but was a loosened pex line. He made a temporary fix to the leak and suggested a plumber. He also caulked some vents on our roof at no charge. We are extremely happy with the service we got.

As you may already know when calling for a repairman/handyman, roofers, plumbers, most don't show up on time or come days/weeks later. Our neighbor highly recommended him after Richard fixed his roof. When my attic fan leaked and roof needs to be patched, I gave him a call. Richard came on time and his work is clean and neat. He is extremely professional and a very friendly person. He knows what he's doing and even took the time to explain how he fixed it afterwards. I will continue to use him as my roofer and among other things. We highly recommend him. His work is superb!

We first contacted Richard Hammond Roofing when we noticed a leak in our roof. Richard came out within a few hours and diagnosed the problem. His team was out to our house that weekend to seal the ridge vent and patch an area of our roof. We contacted Richard two years later to replace the entire roof. Within two weeks of receiving our quote Richard and his team replaced our roof in one day. Richard was professional and responsive. The roof looks amazing and the clean up was spotless. We highly recommend!

Called them, and scheduled up a time to come out for a quote for a Friday. No showed. Called on Tuesday of the next week, and they apologized for not showing up. Told me they would be out on Wednesday. Came to the house on Thursday unannounced, but luckily my wife was home. Told us he'd give us a quote on Friday. Called again the next Tuesday for the quote. Returned my call on Thursday. Again apologized, and gave me quoted number of $400 for cleaning & moss treatment. I told him to go ahead and schedule it up. He said he would be out the following week. No showed the whole week. Called back, and left a voicemail, and never returned my call. After following up 4 times with him not doing what he said he was going to do, I gave up. It kinda stinks being ghosted by a contractor. Especially when you are legitimately just calling them back when they don't show up when they say they will. Really, can't someone have the decency to call back if they're not interested in doing the work? I wouldn't recommend, and would avoid using them.

It was a rainy Sunday morning in the middle of March when I discovered that our roof was leaking. I looked in Angie’s List and based on the current ratings, I gave Richard Hammond the roofer a call. He was on another job, but said he would be over in two hours. And he was. He put a temporary patch on our roof, working in the rain and, since our roof was about 30 years old, we knew we needed a new one. Richard gave us an estimate which was very reasonable. And he even deducted the cost of the temporary repair from the cost of the new roof. By the way, the temporary repair he made stopped the leak. Needless to say, we hired him to replace the roof and scheduled a dry day to have it replaced. Richard and his crew arrived on time and finished the roof in one day. They tore off the old shingles, spreading tarps all around to protect our plants and other items (e.g. air conditioners). Their work was excellent and the clean-up afterwards was spotless. Not only was their work exceptional, but Richard is very personable. I recommend him highly.

Richard picked up the phone when I called and was able to fit the repair in within a couple of hours. Great repair job, excellent communication and super professional! Highly recommend.

I called him early in the morning and left a message for him to call me back. He returned my call several minutes later and we arranged for him to come and look at the roof. He arrived promptly and was very courteous and professional. He assessed the damage and quickly performed the repair. He also thoroughly answered all of my questions about my options moving forward. We will definitely be using him for further repairs. I highly recommend!

Responded same day, personable and nice. For free completed some temporary items just in case there were more storms before work could be completed. Really appreciated that.

I noticed a roof leak on a Sunday morning. I called Richard and he said he would be there in about an hour (he had an emergency job to perform first and it was a rainy Sunday, mind you). An hour later, he was at my house and fixed the leak (working on the roof in the rain). He was very friendly and professional and his price was reasonable. I am very satisfied. I will definitely hire him again. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL WORK & SERVICE I am beyond pleased with the Professionalism, Timing, Service, and Work provided by Rich and his team of worker's who removed the old roof's and skylight window's and installed four (4) new sheets of plywood, new roof's on house and shed and replaced skylight window's. From the start the lady was nice who took my call, Rich returned my call in minutes, arrived 15 minutes before window time for estimate. Very courteous and what I liked most was he wanted to give me a very reasonable estimate to repair the 2 leaks rather then talk me into a new roof even though my plans was for a new roof unknown to him. He stayed in contact with me via phone or text to keep me updated on the delivery of the dumpster, and materials. I have a large roof and this was the schedule. Tuesday dumpster arrives. Wednesday Morning Materials, Rich and worker's arrive and by 4pm all work complete including a proper cleanup. Thursday morning dumpster picked up. THAT'S CALLED A JOB WELL DONE. He is worth every 5 star rating you see and his pricing is reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Rich has graciously accommodated my request to do the roof on a Saturday. The project was scheduled to start at 8:00 AM, Rich showed up himself around 7:20 AM to get the trash bin ready for his project team. The rest of the crew showed up promptly at 8:00 AM and started working right away. Throughout the day, Rich and his team have texted me pictures to inform me on the progress. At the end of the project, the team did a thorough cleanup of my property. Rich is also the only contractor I spoke to who did not require any down payment before starting a project. I found his team having a high comfort level working with twin and row homes in particular due to their heritage working in Philly.

I called Richard Hammond Services because of his excellent A rating and that he was close to where I live. We initially talked on a Monday morning, met that afternoon and the work was completed the very next day. I was treated in a professional manner and all work was done in a satisfactory manner. I highly recommend and would hire again.

Mr. Hammond dropped everything and came right away (the rain was predicted for the next 2 days). Not only he responded right away, but he identified the problem correctly! he was even kind enough to provide me with information how to resolve the problem (though it didn't involve roofing). I wish there were more professionals like him! thank you, Richard.

He stopped by on Friday and then had the issue fixed Sunday morning. It went extremely well, he was very responsive with communication, explained exactly what the issue was and went beyond in making sure everything was done right the first time. I have already recommended him to friends and would use him again. He even checked out my roof and told me that it's in great shape. He treated me like a neighbor, easy to talk to, and got the job done right the first time.

I texted him a picture of what was wrong, he agreed and said he was leaving his house now. 15 Minutes later he was at my house and within an hour of contacting him the work was completed. The work was done well and I would highly recommend him!

My experience with them was very good. The price was fair. They were very customer oriented and they did an exceptional job on the roof. It was expensive, but they did top notch work.
