Description of Work: Kevin acted as general contractor for a new kitchen and did the plumbing installation. Various other plumbing activities in the bath and laundry rooms. |All activity completed to our full satisfaction. Good quality subcontractors were used. The start date slipped out 30 days but this was not an issue as this was a full house renovation and other work was underway.

Description of Work: Our U shaped drain under our kitchen sink was leaking and had completely rotted through. Kevin Bailey & son gave me options of components to work with to save me money. He told me what had to be replaced and what he thought he could patch and or fix. I showed him a drain upstairs and he said it was ok ( he easily could have told me it needed to be replaced & I would have believed him) I found him to be friendly & honest.

+ -1 moreThe work took nearly seven hours during which he worked constantly. when he finished, he did a very good job cleaning up. Kevin Bailey explained each task he had to do and the kind of equipment he needed to install. He was courteous and friendly. We definitely recommend him for plumbing work.
Description of Work: The work involved a difficult repair of the plumbing in a stall shower and the addition of two shut off valves to hot and cold lines in the basement. He shut off the main water and drained the system. Disassembled the shower faucet. Cut out an area of tile for access and to install a new shower valve. This was extremely difficult, because (1) the tile was exceptionally hard to cut,(2) there was a tar paper barrier which had to be removed to prevent a fire while installing the valve, and (3) he was working in a cramped space. He then put in new copepr pipe and fittings to connect the new faucet, then assembled the remodel plate and shower body trim with the lever handle. When he finished that, he installed the two new shut off valves in the basement.

+ -1 moreHe took his time and ran the snake in and out a few times to really clean the pipe. Has been working fine ever since. He also advised to make sure the water saver toilet gets a full flush to move the sewage down the pipe as they are prone to clog pipes easier because they dump less water into the pipe than the old toilets. I thought he took his time and did a good job.

+ 0 moreA friend of mine referred them to me because he was very happy with them. I was impressed with how cordial he was and how he explained to me what he was doing. I showed him what was happening, he looked at everything, then did what he thought was right by snaking the drain from the vent that is out on the curb. He spent a good two hours on it because it was pretty bad, but he got if free. I feel for the money I got good service and he took his time.
Description of Work: Kevin J Bailey & Sons unclogged the sewer drain in my house today. He tried to open up two gutter drains but roots got in there and they aren’t worth fixing.
