+ -1 moreWe could not be happier and enthusiastically recommend Eric and Gina. They are pleasant, professional, honest, reliable and completed all work in less than one day. Their price was fair and their workmanship was first rate. They were punctual and arrived at out house precisely at the appointed time. We are so glad we found them and will use them again and heartily recommend them to family and friends. They are a cut above all other services we have used in the past (no pun intended). Sadly many of the “handyman services” we attempted to use rarely responded to our inquiries for several days and a majority did not even bother to return our calls or even respond texts. Kudos to Gina who was consistently diligent in following up.

+ -1 moreIt looked fine in the beginning but they said they had to leave early so the paint would dry but they didn't stay long enough to do a good job and never put primer on the ceiling. They also didn't clean up well. Several months later, it started to peel so she came back and scraped it off and re-painted it but now we have more spots that are peeling. I called her back in December and she said she'd have to wait until after the Holidays to come back out. Now that we are in January she keeps pushing back the dates to come back out. We had an appointment finally set for January 28th at 9, then she called and said 11, then noon and still doesn't seem able to set a specific time. Don't hire her, she's not truthful.
Description of Work: To remove the popcorn ceiling and to re-paint it.

+ -1 moreIt DID NOT go as anticipated. Originally, a quote was sent to me via text based on pictures I provided. Once they were physically here, they doubled the amount of labor costs despite the fact that they still planned on doing the job in the same amount of time. I was told that the job would not take more time because they had another appointment immediately following. My invoice was going from $165 to $395 with parts and labor. When I brought this up and asked why the labor doubled when the timeframe was the same, Gina reacted negatively instantaneously. She said that this was the cost and if I didn't like it, they would just pack up and leave. I thought that I should have been able to at least ask a question and get an answer but instead Gina was arrogant and condescending.
Description of Work: We needed a basketball net/backboard mounted to our garage.

+ -1 moreAs I said earlier, everything has always went great when hiring Erics handyman service! I will always call them before calling anyone else. Their price has always been fair and I've never felt I've been overcharged for anything. I love that I can text Gina and she always responds quickly. If I ever call and leave a message she gets back to me quickly as well. They are also very professional and very pleasurable to deal with. I feel comfortable with them in my house and around my 3 year old son. Like I said, I now don't think twice about calling anyone else. Knowing they can perform any job big or small has given my family and sense of comfort when something breaks or needs to fixed in our new home.
Description of Work: Eric and Gina were referred to me by another local handyman that wasn't available to do a job I needed done. Since then, I have never called anyone else before calling Eric's handyman service. They always seem to be available and never have told me that a job is too big or small. Eric and Gina helped with a lot on my precious home before and after I had inspection done. I had singin that was falling off that needed replaced, rotting wood underneath my gutters, a leak in my attic that I could not locate, rusted flashing, and a plumbing vent pipe that was rusted. He didn't blink an eye and was able to complete all the work with no issues. In my new home, I've already had issues with my automatic garage door and my gas fireplace. He came out the next day and was able to fix both within an hour. While they were both here I asked about some other projects I would like to get done down the road. One in particular is running gas lines out to my back yard to hook up 4 large fire place warmers I recently purchased. He said he can do that as well no problem!

Trustworthy, kind and considerate!! I wouldn't use anyone else to do work in our home! BOTH BATHROOMS LOOK ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! This is only one of the 2 bathrooms and so sorry that for some reason some of the pictures turned sideways.

They are extremely dependable, punctuality is also commended. Their prices are very good! They have been working in our home going on 3 years. I would give them an A+ rating as well as be a reference for them. I've had and have Multiple Projects with them valued in thousands of dollars!
Description of Work: Security cameras installed, longer internet cables installed, all screens on first floor repaired, installed mirrored closet doors in 5 rooms, replaced window cranks on 4 windows. Caulked all around the outside of our home. Installed 5 interior light fixtures. Installed 2 motion detector lights out front of our home. Installed ceiling fans/lights. Replaced all (9) interior doors. Repaired, spackled and painted leaks in the first floor bathroom areas. Drained one leak in the ceiling and removed all the mildewed plaster. There is so much to say. I trust their opinions and ideas. I know I can leave them in my home and go out and that says a lot. There are so many out there that can't be trusted. I've only had excellent experiences with them. Eric's Handyman Service is 100% Honest!!!

Description of Work: we were putting house on market to sell. We needed insulation and debris removed from crawl space . Hired Eric to remove ALL the insulation. He was aware we couldn't get into crawl space.

Description of Work: I have used Eric and Gina for 3 separate jobs. Initially they helped me with replacing my dryer vent. They then helped me tackle my wet crawl space, including repair of ventilation and removal of debris. They helped me with repair of fences, doors, and finally toilets. Always punctual, pleasant and professional. Will give you an estimate and date for the work to be completed at the time of the first visit. Would definitely use them again.

+ -1 moreEric's Handyman Service was very professional, competent and timely. All work was completed timely and complete to my full satisfaction and as per our agreement. Of particular note is the workmanship of installing the microwave oven. Cabinets had to be cut, new framing installed, electrical outlet and wiring installed. In addition, one part of the cabinetry had to be replace to make room for the new microwave. The new wood was stained to the exactly match the current cabinets. Upon completion of the installation there was no sign that any work had been preformed. Excellent Job!!! I highly recommend Eric's Handyman Service and I will certainly use their service in the future.

They were on time and super friendly but their quote was almost double the 4 other contractors we got an estimate from. They wanted $6K to do a wooden handrail. I cannot comment on their work because we obviously didn't use them but I think that quote was outrageous.

+ -1 moreMy cedar fence (20-25 years old) has about 40+ sections consisting of a combination of 4 feet and 6 feet (height) sections. It was badly weathered and in need of restoration. The cedar shed (8x12 ft) and dog house were also due for a cleaning/stain. I called Eric's Handyman Service and my call was returned that evening. I requested an estimate. Eric and Gina stopped by while I was at work. Gina called me with the estimate. It included restoring both sides of the fence. A good portion of it on the one side of my yard has my neighbor's shrubs, etc. along side of it which limits access. I agreed to the work and was provided with the dates of service. It was scheduled in two phases - power washing/cleaning followed by the staining. The work was completed on time and the fence, shed and dog house look like new!
Description of Work: Power washed/cleaned and stained a cedar fence, cedar shed and a cedar dog house.

Eric and Gina arrived on time, quickly evaluated the work, and provided a fair estimate and a work date. Eric doesn't waste time on the projects; he's ready with all the tools and materials when he arrives, so the job is done promptly and professionally. When the first work was done, Eric pointed out some additional work that needed to be done (which I had known about but hadn't included in the list), and we scheduled that for the next week. I'll definitely call them again when more work is needed.
