They were great to work with, all my questions answered, the owner even help me apply for and receive a rebate for Roof for Troops. Can out and gave me a free estimate, mailed me a lot of references with address and phone numbers etc... I have a large manufactured home, its was difficult to find a contractor, but this company had no problem doing the job. I even still get a Christmas card for them each year, how nice.! I used Duane for a roofing job after the June windstorm and not only did his crew do an excellent job but Duane himself worked with the insurance adjuster and was able to get every handled with true professionalism. This was a minor job and again it was well handled He is an excellent contractor who I would recommend for any of the type of work his company does.

I would highly recommend this company. They were prompt, knowledgeable, professional, and skilled. If you have or think you have an insurance claim, you need to contact this company.

Spoke with several contractors and working with Mainardi Builders just made the most sense. He had more experience and pointed out issues others failed to identify. They replaced both the roof of my house and the shed with the Timberline HD shingles and they both look very nice. We have a larger roof, so they had to return the next morning to finish the shed. The crew was professional and they cleaned up at the end of the first day even though they were returning the next morning.

After a wind storm, a large piece of metal fascia came off our house. I saw all the great reviews Duane received, so I called right away. It was about 7pm on a Wednesday. He had me text him a couple photos of the damage, then in a few minutes I had a fair quote, so I gave him the green light. The next day, I came home from work, and the job was done. Awesome!

One weekend we had a high winds accompanied with rain and lost a bunch of roof shingles. When I came home the next day and noticed my roof...panic set in. So I immediately logged into Angie's List and started to research roofing companies. It was the evening at this point so I e-mailed two roofing companies hoping to get a response the next day assuming they were all getting slammed with business due to the storm. Well I must say to my surprise Duane Mainardi didn't email me back...he literally called my cell 10 minutes after I submitted the request. As it was approximately 7pm...I was floored! He listened to all my concerns and had a crew out the next morning to cover up the bad areas as another storm was approaching. The temporary repair almost looked too good haha. The same afternoon (less than 24 hours of initial contact) Duane sent me a detailed estimate for a full roof replacement listing everything from A-Z which was very easy to understand in great detail. Unfortunately I did not use Duane for a full replacement as my wife's friend is a roofer and you know how that goes. As I notified Duane of this he understood and even went the extra mile to educate me on what to look out for with the other company. I never write reviews, but since Duane demonstrated perfect customer service skills (which is super rare these days), kept in constant contact with me and had great prices, I would not hesitate to hire them. After this experience I can clearly see why Duane has won the Angie's List Super Service Award year after year. If you need a roof, give him a call and you'll see what I'm talking about. And NO...I'm not on his payroll or related to Duane in any way. Just a great overall experience!

Our roof was done a few weeks ago and, once again, Duane and his crew did a wonderful job. We received a quote on a timely basis and work was scheduled within a week. Were very happy with the polite and efficient crew. The roof looks great and the dumpster was removed within 24 hours. Kudos to all and thanks again. This is the second house where you have installed a replacement roof for us. We chose to work with your firm because we were so pleased with the first job. Duane is not the cheapest but we purchase high grade shingles and we are always pleased with his work

We had siding pull off after high winds. I called three contractors and Duane was the only one that gave us a direct quote (no hidden fees), came out immediately (his guys worked on our roof in light rain and wind) and did a thorough job. He knew how important it was for us to get our repair done quickly to avoid any further damage to our home or possibly another home. The guys left absolutely no debris behind, they were friendly, and efficient. Would definitely use them again. Thanks Duane!

This is the second job I have done with DMB. The crew was very polite and professional. They did a great job keeping the site clean. Even though my roof is about 15 years, he was able to match the style and color perfectly so it matches the existing roof.

Duane Mainardi builders replaced and watersealed a small low pitched roof over an addition to my home. They also replaced skylights and damaged plywood. I had been having leaks in all different places. After describing the problem to Duane, he "in-the-blind" diagnosed the problem as wrong skylights for the pitch. Sure enough I got up there and checked the model compared to the architectural drawings, and my builder used the wrong skylight, a non-curb mount. Duane also quoted in the blind based on the small size and scope which was a bit disconcerting at first but when I thought about it for a small roof, why not? It saved me time, time off work, and in reality replacing a roof is a pretty simple process. From a cost perspective I initially felt it was high but I did get a competing quote which was in the same range. Duane seems to have a pretty big organization, employees and equipment. I find this tends to add overhead into bids. I am sure I could've got a small builder with a truck and a ladder to do this cheaper but for me it is the comfort level that the work is being done correctly that matters and I have no problem paying a little extra especially when leaks are involved. This scope was a bit complicated too, we decided to pull off the vertical siding and reinstall it to waterproof up the vertical walls too. So long story short, before the work started in the bid phase and through the build process I felt really comfortable and assured. So I stayed home this day to watch the work and was interested in seeing the underlying damage. An pretty large crew was sent and a siding subcontractor with the aim of getting this done in one day which they did. Also a sort of handler was left to coordinate the work and interface with me, cover and clean my interior, take pictures and communicate directly with Duane. So this felt like a organizational way to ensure I was happy and that my concerns were addressed which I thought was fantastic. Also the workers were nice and courteous. What struck me most was the siding subcontractor (for whom I neglected to get the name but intend to). While up on the ladder looking at the work with a concerned face, this gentlemen noticed, walked down the roof, looked me in the eyes, explained the process, assured me this would solve my problems, and that him and Duane work closely together on many jobs and will make it right if there were any issues. I thought, "Why would a sub give a crap about the client?" . Based on the professionalism and organized quoting paperwork, the "handler", I figured it was an institutional thing on Duane's part that this gentlemen did this. Like "Customer First" purveyed top to bottom. Finally in the end the roof looks great and with the first big test passed, days of hard rain in the precursor to Hurricane Joquain I am ready to post this. I am pleased with this builder all around and the value. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for future projects.

Called to setup an appointment, employees were courteous and very responsive. Received statement of work on the day they reviewed the job at my house. Service was performed within days. Workmanship was great. Duane answered all of my questions and the final product is outstanding. Will definitely be using them again for any and all roofing work.

Called for roof repair and within 2 hours he came and found the problem & fixed it. Very friendly and really knew what he was doing -Problem fixed in 10 minutes.

He did an excellent job. I haven't had any issues since. He had the roof on and done in a day. They picked up after themselves well and nothing went missing. They were good.

Prompt service and quote. Mr Minardi took his time at his presentation. The workers were great and the job was finished in one day. One minor problem was that I got a flat tire caused by a roofing nail. The roof looks great! and I think it was a fair price.

Work was completed on time and with minimum disruption. Workers did a good job of cleaning up. A few nails were left behind to be found over the next summer, but the number was small.

Worked quickly and efficiently. Took great care to protect foundation plantings. Cleaned up completely. I also asked about refurbishing a small deck. He showed me that the deck needed complete replacing. Completely rebuilt the deck, including respacing the spindles to conform to new code requirements. I especially liked the consultation on materials; no up-sell pressure. Apologies for tardy review, Thought I had done this long ago.

Duane was extremely responsive from day 1. We had found him on Angies List and sumbitted a request on his website for him to contact us to provide an estimate. That same day he called and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. Duane was not a typical sales guy - he was not at all pushy he told us we could probably wait another year or two if we really wanted to prior to replacing the roof. Duane gave us a ton of references and each of the names and addresses on the list had the roof color so we were able to drive around the neighborhood looking at color choices. Duane was available to do the job pretty quickly, we actually pushed it back a couple of weeks based on our schedules. Duane's guys showed up right on time at 7:30 like Duane had told us and they got to work. They covered up the deck, moved the furniture out there etc. in preparation. Duane came over a few hours later. Once the shingles were torn off - it became evident that the plywood also was going to need to be replaced. Duane had my husband go up on a ladder to see for himself. This turned a 1 day job into 2 days. The day we were scheduled to do the roof was a Friday. At the end of the day, the roofers cleaned everything up and put everything away. And sure enough first thing Saturday morning they were back to finish everything up. It ended up taking them 2 full days to complete the job. The only extra cost that Duane charged us for was the plywood. We are thrilled with how the roof looks. Thanks Duane!!

This vendor was very good at communicating with the customer; very responsive (which I feel is lacking nowadays). Even though their price was not the lowest estimate we were to receive, it was because of this responsiveness that had us choosing Duane M. to do our job. Workers showed up on time and got to work right away. The area was to be tarped to protect landscaping, however we did not notice a tarp being used inside the fence. The workers did an efficient and quality job, and while they did clean up after themselves, there was still some smaller pieces of scrap on the grass around the shed. As someone with a dog, that was a bit of a concern, as my dog is likely to chew on any such pieces found. When I brought this to the attention of the company via email, the owner called me within a couple hours to apologize, offering to send someone out to clean up more thoroughly. I really appreciated his sincerity and willingness to help amend the situation. It was a refreshing response, as customer service can seem like a rarity nowadays.

Duane and his company did a fantastic job with replacing our roof and our gutters. I called on a Friday to set the appointment, and his team was out there on Monday to do the work! Their work looks beautiful and my lawn was cleaned up perfectly. I'd definitely recommend using Duane for a roof replacement or gutter work. Thank you!

The estimate provided was $300 less than another estimate received - so that was a good start! There were some scheduling conflicts due to the weather, which I understood, and they communicated that to me. They came by, did the work properly and left - no complaints. I would recommend them to others.

Duane was one of the best contractors I have dealt with. First, he was well versed on the latest updates, taking classes on installation of each brand. This was important to me because I read on Angie's List that warranties were not honored by installers who put an extra nail in the shingles. I thought I had done allot of research prior to meeting with Duane but he really gave my husband and me an education. Second, he provided me with addresses of jobs. I learned how colors looked and found that they did not necessarily look like the single shingles because of the light. The skylights were chosen for their insulation properties as well as break proof because of high trees. Third, I probably called or emailed Duane over 10 times, he usually answered, if not he called later that day. He even told me that if he did not call me back the same day call again in case he did not get the message. Forth, the prep and clean-up was amazing. The crew moved deck furniture. covered plants and were doing clean up at the same time as the old roof was coming down as well as going up. Fifth, I am not sure I want Duane to know this, but I had estimates by two other companies after the fact, who were sour grapes that they did not get the job. They each gave me estimates of several thousands more if they were to do the job, and they thought I would be disappointed I had not gone with them!

Duane presented on time, and spent about 90 minutes with me on the initial meeting, carefully explaining each aspect of what the job may include. I received an estimate via email within one day. Of the three estimates we obtained, Duane offered the highest one, but was only slightly higher than the other ones. He most impressed us with his sincerity and orientation to detail with the job. He followed our schedule as we requested, and the work was done promptly and as promised. He presented on site to review the work that was being done as needed. When ever a question came up, Duane was either reachable by phone immediately, or he replied shortly thereafter. There were also occasions when he came to the house to address our own questions. His responsiveness could not have been more prompt.
