He didn't even give me a chance to tell him what I was looking to have done. He specifically said that they will not do a job less than $5000 grand in labor and I told him to forget it.

I called today trying to get an estimate and an appointment from this contractor, as I was being my information ( address , description of the work that needs to be done, I was asked if there was a" MR." and if there was another person 's name on the lease of the house !!!!!!!!!!!!! Also I was told that they don't deal with anything involving "insurances". I found that this company/ merchant very discriminating against women, I Am a hardworking single mother . I"am very proud to be the sole owner my house , and don't need a " mister" to pay for my mortgage. And they need to wake up , to the purpose of home and appliance insurances, because that is what most of us normal people rely on when merchants don't follow thru with their contracts . I'am warning single mothers/ parents on using this vendor. It should be noted that I did not speak to Mike Brandisi , I spoke to Quinn.

The prices we were quoted were astronomically higher then any of the other companies that came out. Also, the salesman (owner) who came out to do the quote spent half the time talking about right wing political stuff (which was very unprofessional). I would not recommend using this company.

Do's - Get detailed quotes from several reputable contractors and review each in detail. This will help you understand exactly what elements are needs vs. wants and help you make decisions quicker. - Validate as many assumptions during the planning stage so there are no surprises. For example, our plan and quote involved moving a toilet. The placement and cost assumed that the floor joists did not need to be changed. We agreed to have Brindisi saw into the ceiling of our mud room to check on it. If the joist ran in a different direction the project would have costs $000s more, plus it was easily repaired and fixed during the project. Dont's .- Don't get frustrated when issues arise. For example, a tile we ordered wasn't available; be prepared to make secondary choices. It will take more of your time than you think. In fact some of the choices we made we ended up happier with because we were able to see how they fit into the space as it was taking shape.

We got estimates from 4 different contractors; we also talked to several other contractors who would not even give us estimates because the job was so big and it was an insurance claim. We chose Brindisi to give us an estimate because of their superior reputation. Brindisi understood the scope of the job, and their payment policy of no money up front helped us manage our cash flow with getting checks from our insurance company. Brindisi recommended a licensed architect/PE who identified structural reinforcements needed then made those reinforcements, replaced bad wood, installed windows, put in tile flooring in the laundry room, bathroom and powder room, tiled the hall bath and kitchen backsplash, replaced celing and walls, and took care of all the subcontractors who did the specialty work like hardwood flooring and painting. They promptly returned calls and gave me a status report daily. Their recommended carpet, tile and plumbing fixture vendors were excellent. Brindisi came out after we moved back into the house to hook up the refrigerator ice maker, and they have come back to adjust cabinets which started rubbing when the humidity increased. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Didn't hire because they never returned email Never received a response from the builder, however, I did see he responded here. I've initiated contact again via Angie's List e-mail with the builder to see if they're interested in looking at the job. I've changed the ratings to reflect this

We knew we had to rebuild our porch. The foundation was cracking and we wondered if we were in danger of having it fall down. Mike Brindisi met with us and assessed the situation with remarkable skill. He then presented us with a proposal and we loved it. To be honest, he thought of things we never would have. The price was fair and the level of professionalism was perfect.They actually were able to start sooner than they'd first estimated, so we had our porch sooner!The crew who came each day were friendly and professional. They clearly took pride in their work and wouldn't cut corners. They also cleaned up after themselves each day in a way that put my own cleaning to shame!We are delighted with Brindisi and recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I had a 40 year old bathroom remodled, as well as upgrades to bedroom windows and closet space

.They were a lot more expensive than others. He did have some great ideas. There were things that we had not thought about that he had brought up. He knew a lot about the codes. He was pretty quick. He was not like a sales man in any way. He told us to do what we wanted and contact him if needed.

As promised, Mike was able to put together a few different floorplans for accomplishing this AND a 3D model of how it would look. He did this within a very short timeframe. We wound up not doing the addition because it would have required us to get a variance; the addition would have intruded on the limitations of the property line by 6 feet! The cost to request this was a lot to gamble on so we opted to look at moving instead. Even though we never got a chance to use them for any work in our home we were very pleased with their professionalism--even when he had to reschedule an appointment and when he called to say he was a few minutes away. The company was constantly in touch with us and checking in during the whole process. We felt badly about the amount of work Mike and his company put in without any cost to us. New to Angie's list, this review should have been made two years ago when this actually happened. However, I was so pleased with our experience with them and the professional and CORRECT way they perform their building projects that I had to post a review. We have just listed our home for sale and are in the market for a larger home. We will definitely be calling them should a project come up in our future home.

They drew up computer generated diagrams showing possible arrangement of rooms and discussed recommended options. The first day, a crew completely tore out half of the old attic roof and framed the new rooms. They installed flooring, sheetrock. A subcontractor did the plumbing. We picked out and they installed fixtures in the bathroom. They cleaned up everything and got all necessary permits and arranged for final inspections. Would definitely use them again.

Brindisi did a wonderful job. Not just the workmanship but doing everything possible to assure customer satisfaction. The new flooring was delivered and was to be installed. I was advised that a high % of the wood flooring had the same flaws as the floor removed. Another installer would probably installed the flawed boards to complete the job and get paid. Not the case with Brindisi. They were very patient as it took two more deliveries to get enough good boards to complete the job. This experience was very stressful and would have been a much worse if it had not been for Brindisi's expertise and professional handling. I would not hesitate to use or recommend them. After several months of frustration, we now have a beautiful floor and it would not have happened with out Brindisi Builders.

When I scheduled the appointment I let the man know I did not live at the house and would have a long drive. Received a call 7 minutes after the scheduled time to cancel the appointment due to an emergency. She asked if I wanted to reschedule and I told her I drove over an hour with a 3 week old baby... so, no. She said okay (no apology). A quality company would have followed up later to apologize and perhaps save the sale. I work as a bookkeeper in a similar field. My boss would have called personally to apologize if something like this occurred. I guess they don't need the work.

They did excellent. The quality of work was good. The owner of the company and made sure that any questions that I may have had were addressed. If I had a concern they addressed the issue quickly. When he would come out he was always inspecting the work that was completed.

They are excellent. They are also very professional. We never had any problems. We would hire them again in the future.

Every day the men arrived on time and cleaned up before they left. As this bathroom is the only full bathroom in the house, they were great with minimizing the amount of time we could not use the shower - 1 day, maybe 2 at the most. They did an awesome job with the tile - even so far as improving on our idea for the tile placement in the shower, which turned out great! The only issues we had stemmed from the manufacturer - Kohler - not the contractor. I will say the contractor did whatever was necessary to correct the Kohler problems. We are quite happy with the finished result and think the bathroom looks great. It looks even better than we imagined.

Other companies told us they couldn't do the work in our basement because the stairway was too narrow. Brindisi was able to do the work with no problems. They came up with the whole plan and went over it with us. They were so good, and we loved our finished basement so much, that we asked them to re-do our kitchen. They were able to add an office to our floorplan. They were dependable and friendly, and they are set on making sure the crew is completely honest. They also cleaned up everyday. There were absolutely no problems along the way. They also warranty the work 100%.

I cannot say enough good things about Brindisi Builders. I went into my house renovation hearing horror story after horror story about bad contractors. These guys are absolutely amazing. From the time Mike visited with me to see what we wanted to do, I felt at complete ease with the project. Both my wife and I trusted him from the minute we met him. He listened to everything we had to say. whenever we were not sure about something, he helped us come up with a solution. Once the decision was made, and the details were worked out, his brother Steve took over the project and executed it incredibly well. He was always accessible, and responded to every need and question. His crew could not have been nicer to work with as well. We got exactly what we wanted in the time frame we had asked for. The project cost exactly what they said it would, and we could not have been happier. They are a truly grade A professional operation. I had read about them on Angie's list, but they were also recommended by 2 other sources. I now recommend them wholeheartedly.

They were absolutely excellent. I was very sickly while they were working and the men were so considerate they cleaned up after themselves. They did a beautiful piece of work. We would use them in the future, as they would be basically re-doing our entire house

They were very responsive and on time. They installed ceramic tiles for us. They had done the bathroom for us a year and a half ago and we were satisfied with that work. As a result we used them again for kitchen remodeling and flooring. They used top grade materials for the job and were fairly priced too. The company is fantastic.

It took longer than we expected to get started, in large part because of the time required for cabinet-making, but none of the work started until all the materials were in. They stuck to the approximate timeline they'd given us at the beginning, and were punctual and diligent on all workdays. We made a few changes after the initial contract was signed, and they handled the change orders very quickly and professionally - and the cost overages were as expected based on our early discussions. The quality of the work was very high, and they did some touch-up work (e.g., painting) without us having to point it out. In addition, they minimized the time we were unable to access the refrigerator (which stayed in the kitchen) and pantry, which was a great help to minimizing the disruption in our lives. We were happy with the suggestions and recommendations they made, as this was our first major remodel, and the lack of pressure they put on us to pick certain options. We had good communication with the team in the office as well as our on-site foreman. We ended up spending a little more than we had initially hoped to spend, but it was well worth it to get the exact layout and options we wanted. And we love our new kitchen! I would definitely recommend Brindisi for this type of work, and would definitely work with them again on future remodeling projects.

They were punctual and they gave me an estimate in a timely manner. They also answered all my questions. They were professional and responsive as well.
