I had a pool leak and got an appointment. Then it rained two days straight a few days before the appointment. Somehow, after the rain my pool stopped leaking. I called the day before my appointment to reschedule. The employee got angry with me and said now he had a hole in his schedule and so he wouldn't reschedule. He said I should call back later. What I really didn't appreciate was his condescending attitude. I own my own business and deal with customers all the time. I would never scold my customers this way, especially when they simply want to reschedule an appointment.

After searching Angie's list for a pool repair service we came across Atlantic Leak Detection (ALD) and based on their reviews we decided to call them and request their services. The gentleman that answered the call was polite, knowledgable and detailed what their services would cost. Luckily, we were able to get an appointment for the very next morning, which we were very happy about. Prior to their arrival to our house we were called and were sent a text message indicating that they were on their way, which was very much appreciated. The gentleman from ALD, Tommy, arrived with all his necessary equipment. He dove into our pool and began the process of searching for the source of our pool leak, and after an approximate hour he let us know that there was a crack inside our skimmer and that it could be repaired on the spot. He was very professional and also provided us with some helpful suggestions regarding our "ancient" pool motor and skimmer which we are definitely taking into consideration! All in all we were very pleased with everything including the price we were charged. We most definitely recommend ALD services for anyone in need of pool service/repair! And we will absolutely use them again when and if needed.

Excellent. Wearing full rescue diving suit with air compressor, Tom searched the entire pool underwater. Using a dye injector, he found the leak. Later, he showed my how and where. It was patched with matching vinyl liner material. 60 day warranty. No leak, what more can you want? Tom is personable, professional, and right on time. Everything was upfront.

I called to see what it would cost to locate utility lines and pipes in a VERY small backyard in Queens, NY. I was told the cost would be $800 minimum. That's WAY too much money--the job would not even take them 1/2 hour to complete! I'd previously spoken to a company based in PA, and their rate is $190/hour, but because they're so far away, it would have cost too much, as there's a $200+ travel time charge. It still would have been less than this company's rates.
