Wilber's Painting

A man or company in your case(Wilber's Painting) is only good as his word. And I believe both are in good hands. My appointment was for Saturday May 9th 2015. Tello and Pablo showed up on time at 9:30 am. They came prepared and they both well together. They did an outstanding job on what was needed on the soffit. Than they worked on removing the old caulking and replacing both widows with new caulking. Which they also did an outstanding job. You have two good professional workers. They cleaned up thoroughly before they left. Please pass this report on to Tello and Pablo.

I'm happy to highly recommend Wilber's. No, their bid is not going to be the cheapest you receive but there's a reason for that, based on my experience which was...First, they did an excellent job of painting. There were no corners cut. Every room was primed, spackled where needed, two coats of paint. The job entailed many rooms in which they were painting the walls but not the trim so they needed to be precise and they were. The work is impeccable. Second, they were punctual and always extremely pleasant and respectful. They finished on time. Third, they have integrity. One of my pet peeves are contractors who, if an error occurs or something breaks, assume it's the customer's fault and become very defensive. My experience with Wilber's was the opposite. They are stand-up people and really believe in customer service. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to friends.

Everything went very well. We have used Wilber before and have always been satisfied. We would certainly recommend them. Another fine job by Hugo and his assistant.

I worked closely with each of the men / supervisors assigned to my house at various times: Hugo, Eugene, Roberto, Jonathan, and Julio. Each one of them consulted with me about the colors, the finishes, and the timeline for the work. They scheduled the days / times when it was convenient for me. They blocked off rooms being painted with plastic, so that other rooms remained free of dust etc., put protective covering on all furniture and windows, and fully cleaned up before they left each day. They even took off their shoes before they entered my house, even though I told them it was not necessary. ALL of Wilber's workers and managers were polite, competent, and very professional. I do not have one negative thing to say. Wilber, the owner, also came personally to my house, at the beginning of each new job / contract, to go over the work to be done and to meet with me and his staff. He also came at the end of the job to inspect it. Customer Satisfaction is very important to this company, and they go the extra mile to ensure that customers are happy; satisfaction is more than just a check on a survey for them. The office staff were also very helpful to me; we communicated by phone and e-mail, and they immediately dealt with any concerns that I had, called me back quickly, and accommodated changes in my schedule. Wilber's prices are competitive and reasonable for their quality of work and attention to detail. As my 92 year-old dad always tells me -- "You get what you pay for". I will use Wilber's again, when I move, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for interior or exterior work. I cannot praise their work enough!

These guys had clean, new uniforms on and showed up in a clean van. They came through the back way of house and sealed off kitchen to keep rest of home clean to do the job. They had a forman named Danny and he came and check and over seen the work performed and gave me a business card if I had any questions or concerns. They did an Excellet job.

Overall the job went excellent because of the the team which worked on my house. They were extremely professional, showed up when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves and took extra care with things, including the wood, that may have been damaged. It was just a real quality job. I just got an estimate from them to do interior painting.

They are terrific, excellent, and they even moved the furniture on my deck to get the job. I would highly recommend.

Overall, the experience was great. Out of all the estimates we received for the job, Wilber's was near the lower end and by far the most detailed. Wilber came out to do the estimate himself. He saw things that the other painters didn't see. He told us that the interior of the home was wallpapered and that someone at some point painted over the wallpaper. He said his guys would move all the furniture, cover everything, scrape all the wallpaper off, seal the walls, skimcoat the walls, repair any cracks in the walls or ceiling, caulk, prime and apply two coats of paint. His team was there for six days working 9 or 10 hours a day to get the job done. They were definitely detail oriented. My wife and I were (and still are) very happy with the end result. Prior to this job, the interior of the home hadn't been painted in over 30 years. Now, the inside of the house looks brand new!

Wilber's did a very professional job. The house is almost 100 years old, so the floors aren't entirely level; the job required a lot of finessing. They paid close attention to what I asked for, made suggestions that were helpful, and then executed the job in a timely manner. The shelves are beautiful and the focal point of the room.

GREAT! the company representative was most cooperative when I called to inquire re fixing the cracking damage that had occurred. She first had a rep. of company stop over to examine the problems, and then called back to advise that they would comeback and fix the problem areas. Not only did they have their people come back, spend longtime re fixup, but on top of doing a ++ repair job,....there was NO CHARGE for the work done! I feel they not only did a + job initially, and re the repair,... but the fact they stand behind their work, were willing to comeback, repair the cracking that had occurred, and did it for'' no charge'', is a major plus for this excellent company. I do, and would recommend Wilber's painting to all

William and his team did a superior job painting the interior of our 1942 South Orange house. They followed all the right procedures for painting an older home. They covered all the floors and furnishings well to protect them from dust in the early stages, and were very careful not to spill paint. They were very thorough and meticulous in their work. They also worked quickly: they painted our entire house in seven days. They arrived punctually and worked through the entire day. They were extremely nice and cooperative; we enjoyed getting to know them. Hugo did an excellent job installing wall paper in the kitchen and the first floor powder room. The house looks beautiful; we couldn't be happier. They have our wholehearted endorsement.

We are so pleased with the job Wilbers' crew did. Our house is transformed. Nikki provided the estimate, along with great advice on paints and guidance on colors that might not turn out how we expected. The cost may seem steep, but I would not hesitate to use them again, now that I've seen the quality of their work. You cannot do this level of work yourself. The team of 3 painters was quick and efficient (done in 4 days!) and very meticulous at keeping floors, woodwork, and furniture clean and paint-free. William helped as they got started, making me comfortable that they would do a thorough job. Fernando completed the skim coating of our dining room ceiling and it is nearly flawless.

The start date was delayed for about a week, but I think was outside their control, and the weather had been bad, leading to outdoor painting jobs having to be put on hold. Once they started, they were punctual and responsible, and did a great job. Our house has a high roof in certain areas because of the slope of the land, and it was impressive how they managed to reach, repair and paint the roof overhangs in these very high spots.

The service went okay. Two painters came out and completed the job in about 2 weeks. They totally stripped the hose down first. The only inconvenience was that they did not speak English well. They did great work. The cleanup after the job was a little sloppy. I had no problem scheduling the service. It was too cold for them to start the painting when I initially called so I had to wait until the next year to have the house painted. It was very easy to contact them when I needed.

Wilber's just finished up (Oct 24) with my old (~120 yrs) frame house in Madison. I chose Wilber's over others in part because of many believable reviews on Angie's List. Their location in Maplewood was a bit of a drive but they had done a few previous jobs in our area. Their estimators (Victor-carpentry & Christian-painting) came on schedule and gave me (next day e-mail) acceptable estimates on carpentry, preparation, and painting. They also provided a likely start date if I signed. The house is old and needed some care which was carefully evaluated, including some soffit and mill work and replacement porch flooring. Overall estimate looked fair and they started the next week. Carpentry was done in one day including repair of damaged fascia and molding (porch roof) to former configuration. The damage was actually my own work in trying to clear out resident birds from behind the eaves. They did a bit more than I expected but held to the original estimate. Preparation was extensive, requiring sanding to bare wood on all framing. Asbestos siding could not be scraped but it was all power washed and looked very clear for priming. Everything was tarped and they cleaned up every day - no drips or chips. A few small repairs (like down-spouts) were done without extra charge, and they even left a bit of paint for touch-up. The only extra was the front door - stripped off-hinge, primed, and painted; now Caliente Red. On-site supervisor (Christian - same name, different guy) was very knowledgeable and professional, kept me informed about the work schedule, and was good to deal with. Final bill was on-bid. Overall we were very pleased with their professionalism and with their work. Interest from neighbors suggests they'll be back in this area soon. I would hire Wilber's back in a shot for carpentry or painting and give them my highest unqualified recommendation.

The floor woman Nikki was amazing and hand held the project to make sure it was done correctly. She was also easy to communicate with. Christian, the estimator came to the house and gave a price for the job,with options of best way to repair. He was courteous and professional. Carlos Campos, the painter, went the extra mile, even clean a window before replacing it. He too was professional and courteous and was meticulous in his work and clean up. It was a very pleasant experience i would highly recommend them .

The service went very well. At least 2-3 technicians came out each day and completed the job in under 2 weeks. It only took that long because of weather. They were very helpful and did a great job. They were good with the cleanup after the job and were knowledgeable. They did a thorough job and left everything better than they found it.
