Spring clean up left significant amount of leaves and debris under the plants. I neglected to say anything to the company as I thought maybe they were just rushed because I was a recently signed customer. Weekly lawn care was mediocre. I had to call several times to get them to schedule lawn fertilization (in my experience, usually the lawn care company chases me about this or just does it and bills me). The lawn looked worse than it had in many many years, so at the end of the season, I asked several times for help. They finally came back to me recommending a de-thatching and new seed for $425. I agreed. They did the work in November. In December, they came for the fall clean up. Again, they left significant amounts of leaves and debris under the plants; one of the men stepped on one of the landscape lights breaking it off and leaving it for me to discover; and they used heavy equipement on wet ground tearing up the recently reseeded areas. It was my fault, again, for not getting back to them right away, but the holidays came and went, and then I had a child with a significant surgery, and then I found in March they had sent the bill for the fall clean up to collections. While it certainly was their right to do so, they did it without ever calling me. So I called them on March 15, apologizing for not getting back to them sooner and explained my concerns about the fall clean up. The woman on the phone proceeded to berate me for not calling earlier and told me, when asked, that the owner would not speak to me. Two days later, I went to their website and used their "contact us" form to write a long note, again explaining the situation. I heard nothing from them. So, today, 12 days later, I called again and spoke with the owner, Diane, who answered the phone. She said she didn't believe me, that the only reason I was complaining was to get out of paying the bill, and that the bill would stand. Now, I agree, I neglected my duty to call earlier. And you will need to take that into account when you read my review. But the lack of interest in doing a very good job, and the rudeness with which I was greeted were remarkable enough for me to write a review.
