Trimmed trees

Weldon's has done all our tree work for more than 12 years and this job was completed perfectly as always We asked Rick for estimates both to remove the tree and to cut back the lower branches. He provided both estimates in a timely manner, with the recommendation that it wasn't necessary to completely remove the tree to achieve the result we wanted. Based on this we requested that the tree be trimmed, not removed, resulting in much lower cost. When his crew trimmed the tree they removed a large pile of weeds/debris from the yard that we hadn't had a chance to bag and throw out and also cut back a large dead branch from another tree, both at no charge.

This rather large job was done within 4-5 hours by a crew of at least 5-6 guys. The execution of the cutting, removal and clean-up was careful and very well done and I was charged far below 2 other quotes. Highly recommended.

The cost proposal was provided very quickly. The work was completed on time and exactly as discussed. The crew minimized disturbance to the lawn and surroundings and also performed some additonal work that I added at the last minute. The service was of the highest quality from start to finish.

In spite of the fact that the tree lent shade, privacy, and a place where I could put my hanging baskets, I knew that the tree had seen better days -- I was forever picking up fallen sticks. I didn't realize how bad the tree was until two huge branches (approximately four feet long) had fallen. It was time for the tree to come down. I was extremely nervous about having this tree removed because it was so close to my house and my neighbor's. I was also concerned for the crew, especially the climber, because the tree was so dead. I worried needlessly because the crew was phenomenal! Rick Weldon's climber is unbelievable! At one point, he was up on a very small limb (my heart was in my mouth) cutting away. I wouldn't have gotten up there for all the tea in China! The entire crew knew I was very nervous, yet each one put me at ease; they were extremely reassuring and confident. All of the men were professional, team players and a pleasure to deal with. Without a doubt, they knew what they were doing. Not one stick got into my neighbor's yard (and, believe me, the tree was very close to my neighbor's). Not one thing got damaged and, best of all, no one got hurt. I didn't want the heavy chipper machine on my drive-way and they respected my wishes. They did have a small machine which carried the huge limbs out to the chipper, but they put pads down on my back yard. The man who handled that machine also knew what he was doing -- some of the branches were huge and nothing got damaged. As they removed the tree, they also cleaned up. Once the entire tree was down, they did a final clean-up -- which was excellent, in spite of the rain. Yes, halfway through the removal of the tree, it started to pour. I expected these men to say they'd be back tomorrow. But, they didn't stop. They kept working. I felt so sorry for them. When Rick Weldon originally came to give me the estimate, he was professional and a true pleasure to deal with. I felt that he was honest and could be trusted. He sent me his certificate of insurance immediately, which is extremely important when having a tree removed. A job well-done guys!

I called for a free estimate on a Friday afternoon, and he arrived early Monday morning. He was working in my development for the association. He looked at my tree which had branches which had been dragged down by heavy winds. He had some of his crew members come in and cut the branches for no charge. He wouldn't even accept a tip for his workers.

Rick came out to my on the date and time promised and provided a professional and reasonable estimate to remove all the dead wood out of our large front oak tree. We received 3 other estimates and his price was the best price. I'm always hesitant to select the best price because it usually means the quality suffers, but NOT IN THIS CASE! The tree is infected with bacterial leaf scorch disease and, unfortunately, has been deteriorating fairly rapidly over the years. The dead limbs had become a safety hazard and concerned me for quite some time. Rick's crew did not disappoint. The men worked hard and, very methodically cut out the dead wood only! They left all living limbs with leaves on the tree and, as promised, did not use spikes to climb the tree. All work was done with the bucket truck. They didn't "butcher" the tree, like some companies do. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work they did, and the neighbors commented on how good the tree looked as well. We love this tree, as it has a tremendous presence. We will hate to see it go one day, but when the time comes where we need to remove it entirely, we will gladly hire Weldon's Tree Service again for that job and any other tree work we need.

He even chipped the remaing tree stump so that now I have a flat year. I have been using his services for many years. He offered great prices and I am very happy with his services.

I was in a bit of a rush since I had already scheduled a contractor to begin work on a new garage. Weldon's was able to accommodate my schedule and remove the trees that were in the way. They did a beautiful job and at a price below the other estimates that I received.

First, I asked for more extensive work than first appeared on the quote and they updated the language of the quote but not the total ( resulting in more work for the same money). Then, I was not able to be there the day they completed the work and when I got there noticed one small item they did not complete and a bent chimney cap (resulting from branches hitting it). As soon as I called they returned and corrected the two items at issue without question. Excellent! I would most certainly call them again in the future!

They do a beautiful job. They have done very well.

I received quotes from three companies and Weldon's was the same as another company but since they came out the same day I called for the estimate I gave them the business. More importantly, both people I talked to from the company were very professional and polite. The day we scheduled the work they showed up before 8AM and completed the job the same day. Left all areas clean. I highly recommend.

I had used Weldon's in the past and been satisfied, so I got a quote to remove a dead tree in our side yard. They weren't the cheapest quote, so I started to go with someone else. After a month of them not showing up, I gave up and called Weldon's back. We negotiated a slightly lower price and Rick said they could come the following Friday. They arrived on time, as scheduled, and their crew expertly took down a very dead tree in a very bad location with minimal damage to the yard, and no damage to either house. Yea!
