 + -1 moreWhen I went to pick up the clock, she ushered me away claiming she had a dentist appointment. When I got home and rehung the clock I started noticing the changes. The pendulum kept stopping and banging against the window. I called her and she said to tilt the clock on the wall and the pendulum would swing freely. I took the clock to another shop and they said the clock was now junk. I would never take another clock to her shop for repair.
Description of Work: Elizabeth replaced the movement mechanism in the school house clock and completely ruined it. Granted the clock movement was Korean and wasn't a great clock, but the case was solid oak. She turned it into garbage. She force fit the movement mechanism into the case which misaligned the key holes. You have to force the key into the holes to wind the clock. The new movement mechanism was wider than the original so the pendulum was pushed forward in the case rubbing against the glass window. For some reason she stripped the pendulum of its distinctive black color and made it a dull brown. The wider movement mechanism also misaligned the gong and striking hammer. She tilted the gong at an odd angle to 'align' with the striking hammer which made the gong sound dull with no resonance.

 + -1 moreElizabeth arrived at our home on time and was very nice. Here work was very professional and she explained every detail of what she was doing to the clock. l would definately use her services again and recommend her to anyone in the area.
Description of Work: The chime in our very old clock had stopped working. We searched Angie's list and found that the Clock Gallery was only one town away. I called and Elizabeth stated that she was available that day and came out in the afternoon. We explained that the clock had stopped chiming and she proceed to examine it. She cleaned the insides alittle and then oiled it. Surprisingly to all of us, it started to work again and has not stopped. It had been silent for over a year and it is truly a pleasure to have it back to normal.

 + -1 moreI called on a Sunday to see if they could repair a wall clock. They said to bring it to their store on Monday. I did and it was ready in 2 days. I had taken to 4 other shops with no luck and I had tried to by parts and fix myself.
Description of Work: I have had no luck getting a wall clock repaired. Took in the clock on a Monday and had back by Wednesday. QUICK and AFFORDABLE
