We have a large three story home built in the 1880s. Odes and his crew did an awesome job for a great price. You have a lot of choices for exterior painting and we highly recommend Straight Line Painters.

Odes and his crew did great work. They started and completed the work in the time frame they stated. Odes also was very upfront and honest. I did tell him his crew needs a little better clean up plan as there was a bit of fine dust on the floor. Nonetheless, the job was done as expected and I am happy with his work.

I got a good paint job for a reasonable price. Some touch-ups/fixes were needed, and he saves time by freehanding everything instead of masking. But for exterior work, it's good. He did a great job matching the existing colors (which are on the rest of my house). Would use again.

I requested painting services from Straight Line. I have a 2 story living and front stair combination. They contacted me within 24 hours of the request to set up the appointment. After the appointment we set up the schedule for the painting. We passed text messages on painting colors and specific types of paints. They came out to perform the service and was very professional, cleaning up as they worked. The entire project took 3 days to complete. Overall I am very satisfied with the results and will be working with them again on other projects.

Odes is very quick to respond to projects and provide an estimate. He repainted my shutters, front door with sanding, entire swing set and shed. He also helped fix my shed door which was old and falling apart. Odes does a great job and I would recommend to anyone.

Odes did an excellent job turning my old colored doors and trim into new freshly painted white and everything turned out great. He took the time to walk around with me after he was done and touch up all the little details as we went. He was quick, polite and a job well done.

The owner was very prompt in providing an estimate and scheduling the job. After the completion, we noticed quite a few areas that needed to be touched-up. We had to contact the owner twice before he got back to us! He came out and made the touch-ups. My husband advised that he still wasn’t satisfied and he (my husband) was instructed to give it a few days to blend in. It never blended and once we got a further look on a nice sunny day and the shades were open, we found several more spots and some drywall repairs that were not done professionally. My husband sent the owner a text twice and never got a return text or call.

We were also having a party in 10 days. Straightlinepainters came for alook and gave a proposal which was responsible. Could they fit us in their schedule? Yes. They had other jobs going on and still got it done. At the last minute, we asked if they could paint some brick walls (2 of them, 4 ft wide). Yes. I was finishing up installing trim and they filled nail holes and finished up the job on time and did a great job. Nice straight cut- in lines all the way around too. At the end, I walked around the room checking for deficiencies with Odes and he touched up any I pointed out, which weren’t many at all. Bottom line- we would definitely use Straight line painters again.

The guys were professional. On time and the quality of work was excellent. Odes, the Project Manager was as determined to achieve the best results based on my aesthetics. This company is a painters dream come true.

Odes responded quickly to my search for a painting professional and I loved that he gave me a price quote on the spot. I recently had my house painted by someone who left my walls a mess. Odes patched, sanded, and repainted my living room and dining room, plus repainted baseboards, doors and ceilings. My house looks amazing! Odes is coming back soon to repair and paint additional rooms. He completed the project quickly and left everything clean.

Job was more difficult than expected as wallboard was an older type and not Sheetrock. Final outcome was good but could have more attention to detail and better clean up.

Odes and Gin did a fantastic job. We are so happy with the final result and it didn’t break the bank. They completed the project timely while also being detailed. They cleaned up daily and it was overall a great experience. We would use them for any future painting projects.

I am very disappointed with not only this contractor but Angie's List too for their lack of accountability. I have placed 8 Quote Request (all from A rated Angie's List companies) and was only contacted by 2. This contractor either has so much business they no longer need Angie's List recommendations (and in this case should be removed or downgraded), or does not care enough about their customer services and continued business to reach out to their customers. Either way, Angie's List needs to hold their recommendations accountable for their lack of communication or the company needs to set up its responsiveness.

I got an immediate response to my post on Angie's List and soon had Odes to the house to see the walls that needed work. He turned around an estimate on the spot that was very fair. Out of an abundance of caution, I ultimately decided to hire a painter who had EPA lead-safe certification (we have a young child and the room required extensive prepping and trim removal that entailed exposing original layers of pre-1978 paint). I suspect that I would have gotten the same level of dust control from any professional painter, but I took that step just because it made me feel better. Although I haven't yet seen the work this outfit can do, I felt pretty confident after speaking with Odes that he knew what he was doing and I would definitely hire them for other painting projects.

They were prompt, efficient, and did great work in reasonable time. Would recommend them

It went well. needed to complete work over 2 days. Work had to dry in order to put on another coat.

The painter removed wallpaper and spackled, I was going to have him finish the project but after my wife picked out the color, I called and got a message that the number was not working.

Odes demonstrated great professionalism right from when he arrived to provide the estimate. His honesty stood out to me. I was expecting that the drywall repairs and paint were separate jobs that would be costed separately (other contractors would have tried to exploit my ignorance). He corrected me and went on to provide a thoroughly professional assessment of what needed to be done. He took measurements and provided a detailed itemized estimate on the spot. He also discussed options on which items to prioritize if budget was an issue. The job was done very well in a timely manner. I would hire this contractor in the future.
