Professional services rendered in a very tight time frame. On time and accountable for all work completed. Explained process and timeframes, kept to schedule, cleaned worked area after work completed. Satisfied with services rendered and will highly recommend.

We were completely dissatisfied with this company, to say the least! First of wall, as soon as we provided the initial payment - one half of the total, the job didn't resume for 3 days and we were then advised that they wouldn't be back for a week due to the corona virus. We also had to remove the debris ourselves. In addition: 1. Thursday, March 19, 2002 at which time you were given a check for $2,031.00, directly after which you left the property. returned and advised that, until Monday, March 23, 2020. 2. On March 23, 2020 you advised that due to your employees’ concerns about the corona virus, your company would not be continuing the project for the remainder of the week. 3. I requested that the bags of debris in my mother’s front yard be removed but remained in my mother’s yard. 4. On March 23rd, approximately 20 bags of debris in my mother’s front yard. 5. Approximately six days later the bags were still in her yard and I contacted Straight Line again about its removal and was assured they would be removed, and yet again they were not. We had to have them removed on two separate occasions – for the rear bedroom and hall. 6. Notwithstanding our denial of access, its employees threw wood into the backyard. 7. This company lied on several occasions about insulation in the rear bedroom – had originally only installed only partially – and only completely when we addressed it. Initially Odes said the entire room was done, then when we showed him that it was not, he acted surprised and blamed his employees. 8. Without authorization or directive, they threw away the light fixtures from the rear bedroom and hallway. When I inquired about this, you simply stated they didn’t work. This was not true and the careless way it was dismissed this matter was unprofessional and insulting. 9. They installed wood to repair the rear bedroom floor, which was almost three times the size of the original slats. Although replaced, they are still noticeably larger than the originals. 10. communicated this matter to you via email. 11. These wood basins were replaced in such a fashion to make them jut out from the wall and was cut in very odd places. On April 7, 2020, Odes admitted that the wood basins were cut prior to installation because it would not fit in his truck and refused to fix them. 12. No shoe molding was installed. Upon inspection and when I inquired Odes responded that he did not put any because if another floor is installed it will have to be removed. 13. Straight Line Painters and Services only removed half of the ceiling, insisting that the other half of it was in great condition and left large lumps in the ceiling where the drywall meets. 14. The hallway walls were not adequately sanded so that lumps are apparent everywhere and the painting was sparse and clearly not enough to adequately cover the walls. 15. One if its employees sat in the rear bedroom window seal and cracked the wood 16. No tarp was used so that floor in bedroom and hall had large amounts of dried compound all over the floors. 17. Wood basins near front door of bedroom have gauged out wood from removal of old top molding. 18. Bottom shoe molding was not replaced 19. Compound at top and bottom of both windows cracked and bulging. 20. Rear wall has dents and exposed tape from sanding 21. Wood basins from window to window are not flush and even where the wood was cut was not butted properly and needs repair. Compound was used to attempt to repair the damage from installation and it flaked off and fell to the floor. 22. Drywall tape exposed in different places after sanding 23. Wood basin top molding near second window (wall near entrance door) has gaps on either side. It was cut too short and no attempt was made to repair or replace it 24. All corners need smoothing 25. Some areas of compound were not sanded but rather just painted over. 26. When asked to repair the exposed seams and holes where the wall and window jams meet, Odes advised that this was the job for a painter. 27. The drywall around and under the windows was cut too short leaving gaps and holes around it. 28. Odes unwilling to address the cracks between the wood used to repair the floor but acknowledged that his staff mistakenly cut into the wood already on the floor on either side of repairs. 29. the wood that was replaced on the second window (employee mistakenly threw away the original) was cut too short at the top and bottom. Odes was not willing to remedy this, stating that it was typical and just caulked. This is not so it was cut noticeably too short. As evidenced by pictures, Straight Line Painters and Services’ work product was unsatisfactory, unprofessional, and the ending result was a great many matters were left incomplete, unaddressed and were merely talked over and waved away as if it was nothing, to our complete dismay and utter dissatisfaction. It was a nightmare! We grew weary of Odes’ excuses, and the company’s unwillingness to address the problems associated with this project In closing, we are completely dissatisfied with this company’s services, unwillingness to listen to the customer, blatant ignorance of customer’s concerns, and refusal to provide professional, quality services. We found this company to be untruthful on several occasions, and they refused to make necessary repairs due to your company’s faulty workmanship The job was done very poorly, they refused to make adjustments due to their faulty workmanship, told repeated lies and to add insult to injury at the end of the job Odes said, "I don't even know how or where YOU people found me, I don't usually deal with your kind. You think you have a crib; you should see my house. I live in NJ. You people live in the ghetto. I am from Nigeria and Americans do not have respect.” What a nasty and racist remark to make! It was both unnecessary, uncalled for and hurtful and I think others should know what they are dealing with if they are unfortunate enough to encounter this company. THEY ARE HORRIBLE! I have never experienced anything like this in my life and I have the pictures to prove it. This was a project to help my elderly mother and Straight-Line Painters and Services turned it into a disaster that we must hire another company to fix! They have no idea what they are doing and should never touch another person’s home!

Excellent! Odes and his crew were professional and prompt. Odes provided a detailed estimate of the work to be done and completed the work in the time frame estimated. He cleaned up the area after work was done and I would definitely hire him for future work in my home.

Odes did a fantastic job. He was quick to respond and follow up. Loved what he did with our dining room. My parents are very pleased with the outcome of his work and will use him again when remodeling other areas.

Odes did a great job! Hired for several projects, he also painted me shed, shutters and swing set. Would recommend to anyone, very nice guy.

I hired Odes of Straight Lines Painters to work on my walls. I had removed wallpaper myself and there was some glue left and the walls were not smooth. He said he could skim coat them and it would look great and be smooth and ready for painting. Not so. He did an awful, unprofessional and sloppy job. He left almost a dozen nails that he spackled right over and I can still see them sticking out, he spackled so unevenly that there are dozens and dozens of patches all over, he left big gouges around my railing and vent edges, got spackle on my silk tree, and left lots of sanding dust all over even though his estimate specifically said he would clean up. Three days in a row after he thought he was done I had him come back, telling him each time that this was unacceptable work. And each time almost nothing was fixed. I am extremely disappointed and now have to fix everything he ruined, spending my own money and time for what he should have done. I would never recommend him for anything.

Great! Free estimate scheduled quickly, competitive estimate, and excellent work in replastering a bedroom ceiling with water damage, and beautiful painting of walls and ceiling with cleanup. I'm plannng to hire them for a second bedroom.

I was selling my house in Philadelphia and had to repaint it because it was painted with murals and bold colors. I had already moved to Florida, so I had to blindly pick a contractor from afar. Odes from Straight Line Painters sounded trustworthy over the phone and had the fastest response time. He did use broken English, but in a pinch I had to go with him because the other contractors were all booked up and busy for months. He was able to start my house the following week and came in via the realtor’s lockbox. The first quote did not include baseboards, because I just wanted to flip the home quickly and I the baseboards looked good already. That estimate was $2996. He then said I needed the baseboards and ceilings done or it would look too sloppy. So I reluctantly agreed to requote. The requote included the whole house, plainly stated room by room in the contract. It included interiors, ceilings, and baseboards. The new total was $4515. Odes finished in one week and sent pictures that looked pretty good from the distance they were taken. I couldn’t notice the murals or mistakes when I zoomed in, but the pictures were not high quality from the painter’s phone. I thought the job was complete, so I paid Odes. The potential buyer came in the house and relayed to me through realtors that the painters missed the whole main wall (muraled with faux brick). So I frantically called Odes and said he had to go back and complete the wall. He told me that it was a misunderstanding and that he thought he wasn’t supposed to do that wall. I never said that. That wall was the main reason I was repainting my house, because the new potential buyers did not like it. The contract plainly states the entire family room. So he finally went back after telling me 3 different times he would try to squeeze it in. He sent an unprofessional painter and it looked horrendous. You could still see the mural and the dripping paint. I had him come two more times and it still looked horrible. My realtor came to visually inspect and realized the entire house looked pretty bad. He sent images of light switches painted over in gray, drippings, images of faded murals, uneven spots, and entirely missed spots. They also did not clean up after themselves and dirt was everywhere. Unfortunately I cannot say he was a professional painter after all was said and done. I almost lost the sale of the home and had to pay another painter out of pocket to fix all his mistakes. He even had the nerve to ask me for $250 more dollars for the wall he had to redo, which was horribly done and still unfinished. If it was done right the first time, none of these problems would have happened. I cannot recommend this company.

Came over the same day I had requested an estimate from him via Angie's List and had it prepared and written up for me before he left my home. Was able to arrange for my drywall repair and painting to be completed three days later. Arrived promptly and completed the projects with no issues arising whatsoever. Recommend highly.

The workers were professional, efficient and detail oriented. The room looks great and the room was left clean. I would recommend this business to anyone.

It was done in a reasonable amount of time. There is one shutter that needs a small touch-up, but otherwise, the work is fantastic!

No work was done. I only received a quote for potential work in the future. Odes was very professional and prompt with his response time both in calling me back in setting up a time for getting an estimate and showing up for the scheduled appointment for a written estimate. His prices for the work to be done is quite fair and reasonable. Moreover, I like the fact that he provided me the estimate onsite before leaving in detail. When I am ready to get my painting done Straight Line Painter’s and Service, LLC. will definitely be a consideration.

I’m very pleased with the paint job and closet repair. Unfortunately they were a little sloppy and had to vacuum compound dust off of my carpet because they didn’t use a drop cloth. I had to clean a few paint spot off of the carpet after they left.

Odes is extremely customer service oriented. He called each morning to advise of arrival time and never cancelled or delayed. The work was excellent.

Odes was extremely quick to respond and gave me a quote immediately. We agreed on a start date for later in the week. He called to say that they had a cancellation and could start sooner. It worked for us and his team was efficient and pleasant. We were very happy with the results. I plan on having them back to paint the remaining rooms. Highly recommend Straight line painters.
