Leonard Electric

Tom Leonard came to my home first to give me an estimate, he was prompt and professional. We came back the same week and performed the services we discussed, he did a great job. He even called me to check on the work the following day.

Tom was able to come out soon after I called for an estimate. He explained what needed to be done and why. He returned 2 days later at the agreed upon time. His price match his estimate exactly. I'm very happy with the work and would absolutely call him again.

Tom showed up at time we agreed upon, and had the job completed in about 1 hour, I hardly knew he was here. He went over the work performed and showed me how the new fan operates, as well as going over the warranty on the new fan. Overall I am very satisfied with the work performed and will definitely call him for future electrical work needed.

Showed up within a few hours of my call, quickly diagnosed the problem (the wiring had basically overheated, melted and arc'd, causing a major short which also fried the breaker) leaving only one leg to the 220 circuit. Within an hour they replaced the connection to the external AC unit end to end as I had requested. At all times they were professional and personable.

Worked out great - Tom called well before the appointment time to let me know when that they were running 15-20 min late from a previous job. When they got there Tom and his son were extremely professional and put together and installed the ceiling fan in no time. Fan looks great and they will be my first call next time I need any electrical work or have an out of reach project,

He was polite, prompt and professional. His helper,( I believe it was his son) was also the same. They got the job done! We will definitely be calling them again.

He gave us an estimate on Sunday, May 12. We set a time for today. He called when he left his previous job to let me know he was on the way. They did the whole job in an hour and a half. They vacuumed, replaced furniture and cleaned up everything after they finished. The job was done perfectly and we are very happy.

Everything, start to finish, was done on time, and as quoted for the price quoted. Stellar job.

He arrived at the time we had scheduled. After replacing the ceiling fan switch, he made certain that the fan and light were both in good working condition. He even replaced the light bulbs in the fixture. Before leaving, he cleaned up and placed the old fan switch and packaging in the trash.

Basically, they electrified a shed. The owner's name is Tom Leonard. He is a great guy, very easy to work with, very reasonable, friendly, and very trustworthy. His workmanship is great. I've had no problems. The electrical inspector has come in to look at his work. He knows his work as spot on and they have always passed right away.

Overall the experience was great. Tom was very professional? he called me back right away and showed up exactly when he said he would. He was also very efficient, he asked me what I was looking for and from my vague description he had all the right equipment with him when he arrived which to me was very impressive. I highly recommend Leonard Electric.

It went very well. There was a slight delay in contacting us after our initial phone call, but we were given a price estimate range over the phone and an appointment was made. They showed up on time, actually early; services were performed quickly, neatly and professionally and without interruption to our electrical power. The charges ended up being on the low end of their original estimate. We're very pleased and if we need a professional electrician again, we will use Leonard Electric.

Tom was very quick to respond; he called me back within a few hours of my initial call (on a Wednesday) and was at my house within 1/2 hour to look at the job. He called me the next day with a quote and came out that Saturday morning with his son to do the job. Tom and his son were extrememly pleasant and fair in price. Very happy with the service. They took the time to explain what needed to be done. I even threw in the light fixture project at the last minute and he didn't have a problem doing it right away.

We contacted Leonard Electric and we set up the date to come out to the house. Tom showed up promptly. We went over what needed to be done again and he went right to work. After about an hour it was completed. It lookes great. Tom cleaned up after himself and was very professional and courteous and we consider him our "electrician." A+!

Tom arrived on time and immediately addressed a random issue that arose when I flipped the lights on in the master bath. He was very nice, and patient with my many questions about home wiring. He had to go through sockets one by one in the upstairs, but confirmed his suspicions of the problem and fixed it right away -- all in under an hour.

Tom and his son Matt were a little late arriving one half hour late, but had called and said they would be about a half hour late. They were both highly professional and completed the job efficiently and correctly. The price estimate quoted on phone was the exact charge, even though we requested another GFIC in the powder room that was not originally requested. Tom and Matt were friendly and exhibited an excellent sense of humor, which we appreciated. We would highly recommend them to friends and relatives.

Mr. Leonard was very nice when I spoke to him on the phone and he gave me an estimate. I then scheduled an appointment with him. He came out with a new switch and replaced it. The switch he had to get was not just an ordinary switch, he had to go find one and showed me how it worked as it was a little different from the one I had. Very nice person and very professional.

I used him from Angie’s List. He was good. He was excellent. I would hire him again in the future.

The owner and his son came to our new home.They arrived at the appointed time and went right to work. They were professional and friendly.Everything was done to our liking and they cleaned up after themselves.I have absolutely no problem recommending Leonard Electric and plan to use them for any of our electrical needs.

His prices were wonderful. He showed up on time. The work he did was excellent. He fixed our problems the first time out. In fact, we are going to have him back out to put in a new electrical/circuit breaker box. I liked everything. I didn't have one complaint. He explained everything to us. He explained what the problem was. He fixed it. He was on time. I think joining Angie's List was the best thing we did! It really worked out for us.

They came a few days before the hurricane. Gave us an estimate for requested work. On the day they came back to perform the work it was a father & son team. They performed everything that was discussed the previous week. In addition they found a few additional items that they fixed. They were very clean and professional. We are very happy with them and will definitely recommend them.

I picked Leonard electric based on "Angies List " reviews. I called, left a detailed message that I needed an electrical outlet run to a cabinet above my range, in preparation for installation of an above the range microwave. My call was returned the same day, I explained my needs,and complications. My kitchen is on a slab, with no easy access to the circuit breaker which is in the garage. I got an estimate of $250., sounded fair, scheduled the appointment.. Tom and his son were actually running early that day, unheard of in that industry in my experience, they called and came by, looked over the project, discussed options, picked the most common sense solution, and least damaging to the rest of the house and got to work. They were very friendly, didn't seem to mind my constant questions, finished the job in about 30 minutes and gave me a break on the price. yeah! They repaired the small drywall hole that needed to be made to run the electric line through a wall stud, and cleaned up. If I ever rip out that wall I'll be sure to return Toms drywall saw to him...:)

I called Leonard Electric on a weekend with a minor issue about a malfunctioning light switch. By 9:15am on Monday morning I heard back from Tom and we agreed that he would come and have a look at it at 4:30pm the same day. At 4:30pm Tom and his son Matt showed up promptly and diagnosed the issue quickly and solved the problem. They both had a very cordial, respectful, and professional demeanor throughout the visit. I would certainly hire them again for future electrical needs, and in fact I am already planning to do so for another project.

There have been no issues with the work and his responsiveness on a Sunday was greatly appreciated.

I called to request an estimate, and was told that the call would be returned later in the day. Mr Leonard returned my call that afternoon, and was able to come by and give us an estimate that very evening (he fit it in on his way to a dental appointment). We felt that the quote was reasonable, and requested that the work be done as soon as possible. They were able to do the work the very next morning. They were prompt, efficient (they finished very quickly), and took the trouble to be neat. Everything was done exactly as we wanted, and we were very pleased. We will definitely hire this company again when we need electrical work of any kind done. Since our house is 100+ years old, I am sure there will be more opportunity.
