Steve is the greatest! He walked me through everything that had to be done and explained how he was going to take care of my house painting. Steve showed up when he said he would be at my home and finished within the time frame he originally told me the job would take. I highly recommend Steve Rubiano to anyone looking for a quality craftsman to do their work.

Terrible. he's unreliable and has more excuses than i've ever heard. he started at the beginning of october 2016 and all of the work is still not finished. he clearly had never installed the type of glass tile i purchases even though he said he had. his tile installation was sloppy and not well done. there are a couple of places that need to be fixed and he won't come back to do it. i had to get someone else to install the beadboard. he never put up the new ceiling fan. he spent most of his time on the phone and left the work to a young helper who was sloppy and didn't really know what he was doing. he removed all of the doors to paint them and they were not put back properly and he didn''t put back any of the doorstops. the work dragged on for months so i told him not to paint the guest bathroom, laundry room and garage. he was overpaid $500 and won't come back to finish the work listed in the contract. i've given up calling him because he'll give me a date and not show up. he always has an excuse about why.

I would never recommend this man to do any type of work. He breached his contract by using the wrong paint. He was late everyday after he pushed our start date back 2 weeks. He showed up with one worker who had never painted cabinets. He made a mess in our home. He used our towels, garbage bags, left the materials he used (paper, face mask, empty containers etc) in my backyard. He smoked in my backyard and left his cigarette butts on the lawn so my dog ate them and got sick. We had empty beer cans on our fridge that were not there before he came in to our home and a small bottle of vodka that was full before he was in the house. He drained his compressor on my driveway leaving a cooper stain running down the driveway. He used a fan to ventilate the kitchen in one of the windows. It left a gray paint stain on the screen. I have 20-30 pictures of the things he didn't complete after the 3 days of work. We asked for him to come back to fix the issues. He would respond with a date and never show up. My husband took time off from work to be home so he could be there when the problems were fixed. After 2 weeks of promises and now shows he finally came to the house. He offered to refund the amount we paid, in cash within 1 week. He gave us dates that he would drop the money off but never came. We are now 2 weeks from the the original date of drop off with no refund. We waited up until midnight one night when he told us he was on his way and should have been to our house within 20 minutes. He then proceeded to tell us he was tired from working all day and would come in the morning. This man is not reliable and not professional at all. We now have to have our cabinets stripped and repainted by another company which will cost us more money and more time.

Did an excellent job. He was neat, clean & honest. I would definitely recommend him.

Having worked with Rubiano and his crew for many years and on many projects he constantly continues to impress. He and his crew always do great work, start and finish on time and allways leave the job site clean and neat. For painting and remodeling I would always use Rubiano.

Because Steve and I signed a contract and I had given him a deposit he was honest enough to return the deposit back to me - I trust Steve and would work with him again and highly recommend him. *STEVE IS AN HONEST GUY WITH A GREAT PERSONALITY*

Company painted the exterior of the house and the deck in the backyard. The house came out great and it was done in a timely manner. The deck was also painted and came out great. However, after the snow during the winter, most of the paint came up as the snow melted. We contacted the company in March 2011, and was told they would re-paint the deck. By June, we did not hear back from them, so we called again. We were told they would come on June 20. Company did not show up. We left two messages and still did not hear back. As of today (June 28, 2011) the company phone has been temporarily disconnected. Now, we tend to give the benefit of the doubt, so possibly something may have happened, but there is no excuse for not calling us back at least to let us know they could not come on June 20. I was able to leave a message that day. Meanwhile, our deck is still not re-painted and the paint is just flaking off more and more every time we step on it. According to company website, they state, "Showing up on the scheduled day we lay out a game plan to how we will complete your project." Well, they did not show up to complete anything. Very disappointing.
