Description of Work: we had a second story deck added to our house, we used trex decking and seamless wraps for railing. there were multiple delay issues , they just didnt show up and they only worked from 8/9am to 1/2pm which slowed it down BUT the quality of work is shabby to say the least. over half of our deckboards are cut too short and dont meet in the middle to be attached to center support, so the boards are curling up and causing a trip hazard. the post caps fly off in windy weather because they were not attached like we were told. the bottom post covers slide up and down on posts. the center supports for the railings are only attached to railings not to the deck. the stairs are installed slanted and the step boards are not attached and are curling up causing more trip hazzards. the cement was not mixed properly for the step platform and is washing away from the base of our steps. the quality of wood post used for the support beams are poor they are splitting. they never wrapped the support posts the way i was sold "you will never have to paint your deck". when i asked when they would finish them and the reply was they ran out of money because there were things in code that baught their cost up. as far as i am concerned thats the contractors job to know building codes. all in all a horrific job and glad we didnt have them do our pool hose or basement
